Chapter 123 - The Silver Rankings

The woman's eyebrow raised slightly. But she didn't ask questions. She swept the stones into her hand. "Third floor. At the end of the hall." She handed him a bronze key. "Meals served twice daily. Dawn and dusk. Extra costs more."

Kael nodded and took the key. He climbed the stairs. His body still ached from the journey. The wounds from the Silverhorned Wolf and the mountain bandits hadn't fully healed yet.

The room was simple; a bed, a small table, a chair, a basin for washing, a window overlooking the street below. It was all he needed for now.

He closed the door behind him and set his pack down. Then reached into his robes. The system's inventory was still functional despite the system itself being dormant.

The blue panels didn't appear anymore. But the storage space remained. A small blessing.

He'd stashed gold, silver, and primal stones from his time in Valoria Kingdom.
