Chapter 64 - Chapter 64: Just Returned to Drum Island, and Luffy's Missing Again

[Nami: @Zhu Zhuqing, bad news! Something big just happened!][Zhu Zhuqing: What's wrong?][Sakata Gintoki: Masaka… Nami-chan, don't tell me your body has already been ravaged by that bastard Su Xiaoqi? Damn it, I knew I should've come earlier!][Nami: @Sakata Gintoki, I don't have time to deal with your nonsense. @Zhu Zhuqing, your love rival just showed up. Want to come beat up Su Xiaoqi for me?][Sakata Gintoki: NANI?! That damn Su Xiaoqi actually played around with Princess Vivi? That's even worse than him messing with Nami-chan!][Lu Linglong: So you're saying Vivi is more important to you than Nami-chan?][Sakata Gintoki: No, Linglong-chan, you're the most important to me.][Lu Linglong: Hmph. Your silver tongue really knows no shame.][Nami: Will you two knock it off already? This is not the time. Zhuqing, if you agree, I can go beat him up on your behalf.][Kaito Kuroba: Sounds like there's a bit of personal vendetta mixed in here.][Nami: Shut up or I'll start sending you fish.][Zhu Zhuqing: I trust Xiaoqi. @Su Xiaoqi, everything is going well on my side. Don't worry.][Su Xiaoqi: 💗.jpg]

"Unbelievable," Nami muttered, shutting off the chat group as she glared at Su Xiaoqi, who was casually chatting with Vivi. What the hell did Zhu Zhuqing drink that has her so blindly trusting this guy?

At that moment, Su Xiaoqi, having finished discussing Alabasta with Vivi, turned toward Nami and raised an eyebrow in mockery.

The return voyage to Drum Island went smoothly, without any unexpected trouble. During the trip, Su Xiaoqi asked Nami about the current situation on their side.

Compared to the original timeline, the biggest change was that their crew hadn't run into Nico Robin along the way. Nami guessed it might be due to Luffy not having a bounty yet.

Still, Nami insisted that Robin must eventually join their crew—not just her, but also other characters who had lingering regrets in the original story. That now included Vivi.

Vivi still didn't know about the chat group. Nami had originally planned to explain it during their journey to Alabasta after Chopper joined. But clearly, that plan had fallen apart.

Upon returning to Drum Island, another mishap struck: Luffy and the others had vanished.

According to Dalton, Luffy and the rest had set sail hours earlier to look for them, nearly sending Nami into a rage-fueled meltdown.

As for where they got their ship? That was thanks to Wapol, who had eaten the Munch-Munch Fruit. For reasons unknown, he had returned early to the island and foolishly picked a fight with the Straw Hats—only to be beaten senseless and launched who-knows-where by an angry Luffy.

Su Xiaoqi could understand Luffy's behavior. It was similar to what happened at Sabaody Archipelago in the original storyline—helplessly watching important friends being taken by an enemy due to his own weakness.

Still, he couldn't help but snark as he watched Nami rant. "You're such a mess—no wonder you're single."

Vivi, surprised, asked, "Eh? Aren't you and Nami a couple?"

Su Xiaoqi pulled a face. "Please, she and I are totally incompatible. That wild, violent, and money-grubbing personality? I can't deal with it."

Vivi giggled softly behind her hand. "So what kind of girls do you like?"

Images of Zhu Zhuqing floated through Su Xiaoqi's mind, and he grinned. "Gentle, thoughtful, obedient—and… big."

Vivi understood the first three, but… big?

Nami, having cursed out Luffy from start to finish, marched over and said, "Su Xiaoqi, why don't you fly out and look for them?"

Su Xiaoqi gave her a blank stare. "Have you lost your mind from the cold? This is the Grand Line. Luffy and the others left hours ago. Where exactly do you expect me to find them?"

"Fine, don't go. Why are you yelling?" she snapped. She'd only said it in a moment of frustration—she didn't actually expect him to do it.

Vivi then turned to Su Xiaoqi and asked, "Do you think it's possible Luffy went straight to Alabasta? If Miss Kaya couldn't stop him, I think that's exactly what he'd do."

"I think that's very likely," Su Xiaoqi nodded in agreement, before casting a disdainful look at Nami. "See? Same species, but what a difference. Maybe try learning from Princess Vivi—use your brain once in a while."

"Hoo… hoo…" Nami was visibly trying to calm herself, repeating to herself not to get angry. After all, she still needed help from this insufferable man.

"Su Xiaoqi, things have gotten more complicated now. Can you stay with me and Vivi and go to Alabasta together? Once it's all over, I can offer you a reward."

Vivi's eyes lit up, and she quickly added, "If it's about money, I can pay you too."

Su Xiaoqi paused to think. With just the two of them, Nami and Vivi weren't exactly safe. Meanwhile, back on Douluo Continent, nothing major was happening with the "Shrek Academy" arc, and Zhu Zhuqing could manage things on her own.

With that settled, Su Xiaoqi nodded at the two of them. "Alright, I've got nothing urgent going on over there. I can stick around for a few more days."

"As for payment—Vivi, you're off the hook. Nami, I'll be sure to settle accounts with you."

Nami understood what he meant but still felt bitter. Why always the double standard?

If she ever met someone named Ning Rongrong on the Douluo side who had suffered similarly, they'd probably form an anti-Su Xiaoqi alliance on the spot.

Vivi, on the other hand, was secretly delighted. What girl doesn't enjoy being treated specially—especially by a man who was handsome and her savior?

Neither Su Xiaoqi nor Nami noticed the shift in Vivi's mood. They were too busy bickering again.

"Nami, didn't I just tell you to use your head? This is Drum Island—aren't you forgetting about poor, adorable Chopper?"

"I just forgot in the heat of the moment! Can't you speak to me more nicely? And what about you? Why are you so kind to Vivi but always so rude to me?"

"Princess Vivi is on a whole different level than you. Just listen to how she talks, then listen to yourself."

"Fine, fine! I'm clearly just a third wheel, right? Maybe I should leave!"

Vivi panicked and quickly said, "Nami, that's not what Su Xiaoqi meant. Please don't be upset."

"I'm not his girlfriend—why would I be upset?" Nami snorted, then turned to Vivi.

"Vivi, if you have any feelings for that man, let me give you some advice: give up now. He already has a girlfriend, and he's not from our world—he's not even a normal person."

"Hey, hey, hey!" Su Xiaoqi immediately objected. "What do you mean I'm not a normal person?! Say it clearly, why don't you?"
