Chapter 1 - Magicians

As the curtains drew open, a collective gasp echoed through the packed auditorium. Harleen, Sofia, and Safina, three inseparable friends, stood poised on the stage, their eyes gleaming with a mix of excitement and nervousness. The trio, each a master of their craft, had risen to fame as the world's top magicians, sought after by fans from every corner of the globe.

Their journey, however, had not been without its challenges. Orphaned and alone, the three friends had found solace in each other, forming an unbreakable bond that transcended mere friendship. United by their passion for magic and their shared Muslim faith, they had overcome countless obstacles to reach the pinnacle of success.

As they began their performance, the air was electric with anticipation. With each intricate gesture, each whispered incantation, the trio wove a spell of enchantment that held the audience entranced. Fabrics of every hue seemed to come alive in their hands, swirling and dancing in mesmerizing patterns that left the crowd gasping in wonder.

And yet, despite the accolades and adoration, the trio's hearts remained rooted in their motherland, Pakistan. It was a decision born of love and loyalty that had brought them back to their homeland, leaving behind the glittering lights of America. As they took their final bow, the audience erupted into applause, but for Harleen, Sofia, and Safina, the true magic lay in the knowledge that they were home, surrounded by the people and the land they loved.

The air was alive with anticipation as Sofia, Harleen, and Safina stood poised on the precipice of a challenge that would test their mettle against the world's best. Ana, a magician of unparalleled skill from America, had thrown down the gauntlet, and the stakes were higher than ever before. The prize? A staggering two million dollars, a sum that would change the course of their lives forever.

But this was no ordinary challenge. The stage was set on the Discovery Swing, a behemoth of a structure that soared to dizzying heights, its cables stretching across a seemingly bottomless chasm like giant steel tentacles. The swing's reputation was legendary, its sheer scale striking fear into the hearts of even the most seasoned thrill-seekers.

It was the night they had all been waiting for – the night when Safina, Harleen, and Sofia would mesmerize the world with their magical prowess. The three friends stood before the mirror, resplendent in their blue lehengas, their eyes shining with excitement.

"I'll just grab a glass of water," Harleen said, slipping away towards the kitchen.

As she entered the kitchen, her eyes scanned the room, searching for the water jug. But instead, her gaze fell upon something that made her heart skip a beat – a strange, glowing hole seemed to pulse with an otherworldly energy.

Harleen's voice trembled as she called out to her friends, her words echoing through the silence. "Safina! Sofia! Come quick!"

Safina and Sofia rushed into the kitchen, their faces etched with concern. "What's wrong?" they asked in unison.

Harleen's trembling finger pointed towards the hole, her eyes wide with wonder. Safina and Sofia followed her gaze, and their jaws dropped in unison.

"What in the world...?" Sofia trailed off, her voice barely above a whisper.

"This is impossible," Safina breathed, her eyes fixed on the shimmering hole. "What is this thing?"

Safina said, "Someone's playing a prank on us. We're magicians, after all. If we can't figure this out, how can we call ourselves the best?"

Sofia chimed in, "But this hole is really weird." Harleen added, "I don't think this is ordinary magic either. I've never seen anything like it."

Sofia nodded in agreement. "Exactly." Suddenly, whispers began to emanate from the hole.

Safina asked, "What's going on? What's that noise?" Harleen stepped closer to the hole. Sofia warned, "Harleen, come back. What are you doing?"

Harleen replied, "Shh, listen to the voice." Sofia's eyes widened as she focused on the sound. "It sounds like... a girl crying. This is freaking me out. We should call the police."

Safina hesitated, "No, we can't do that. If this is real magic we can't explain, people will talk."

Harleen moved closer to the hole, and the whispers ceased. Sofia warned, "Harleen, stop. I don't like this."

Suddenly, the room was bathed in intense light, making it impossible to see anything. Then, just as abruptly, they found themselves in a sealed room with no visible doors.

Harleen turned to Sofia and Safina, her voice laced with concern. "What's going on? Is this some kind of magic trick?" Sofia and Safina looked equally bewildered and frightened.
