As Jay and Julius clashed beneath the crumbling prison walls, the battlefield trembled under the weight of their blows. Light beams clashed with burning chains, illuminating the ruins with sparks of chaos.
Jay gritted his teeth. He was holding back Julius, but barely.
---
Meanwhile, far from the fight, a man sprinted toward the gates of Biringan it was hook, his breath ragged, face soaked in sweat. His eyes were wild with panic as he approached the command tower.
Inside, Bin turned, his tone cold but controlled.
"Speak."
The man dropped to his knees.
"Sir… it's Malakar. He's been spotted in Argos City… and I think Rigor is with him."
A heavy silence fell across the room.
Bin's hand curled into a fist.
"Argos is the nearest city to Biringan…"
He turned to the gathered commanders.
"This is it."
Bin's voice echoed through the chamber, filled with purpose.
"I'll end this darkness… I'll take the power of darkness itself and become the Twilight Warrior. It's the only way to bring balance back to our world."
Without hesitation, he gave the order.
"All citizens of Biringan are to prepare for evacuation. If Malakar's forces advance, we must protect them."
Then he turned to Hook
"You're coming with me. Gather the special forces. We march to Argos City—now."
---
Back at the prison, the battle reached a boiling point.
Jay's breath grew heavier. His attacks slower. Julius sensed the weakness and smirked with cruel delight.
"Are you really the student of the Fifth Light Descendant?" Julius taunted. "Because it feels like I'm fighting a child."
He lunged—his flaming foot slammed into Jay's chest, launching him into a cracked pillar.
Jay gasped for air, wiping blood from his lips. But he wasn't done yet.
With a flicker of light, two clones emerged beside him.
He charged.
Julius grinned and swung at one clone.
Boom!
A blinding explosion erupted—it wasn't a normal clone.
"Gah!" Julius roared, covering his eyes. "A flash bang?!"
Jay didn't waste the moment.
Pouring all his remaining energy into one final technique, he summoned a dense sphere of light, then hurled it toward the prison wall.
KRA-KOOM!
The powered wall cracked and collapsed, light consuming its defenses. The energy backlash hurled debris everywhere.
From the rubble, Luz emerged with the rescued children.
"Jay!" Luz shouted.
Jay stumbled toward him, barely standing.
"Take this… scroll…" he whispered, pressing a glowing scroll into Luz's hand.
"What's this?! Jay—wait—!"
Jay smiled faintly. Then his body shimmered
And vanished.
At the same time, the children glowed.
But in a flash of light—
They all vanished, teleported to the safety of Aurora City.
Luz blinked, frozen. His hand trembled as he looked at the scroll.
"I'm not leaving him… I'm going to help the old man!" he growled, turning to go back.
But Den stepped in his path.
"You can't," he said firmly. "Julius isn't just strong. He's a monster. If you go now, you'll die."
Luz stared at him, conflicted… then nodded slowly.
He looked down at the scroll.
He didn't open it.
Not yet.
---
Julius's sight began to return.
The chains burned brighter than ever before.
"You…" he snarled, spotting Jay. "You freed them… but it doesn't matter."
A wave of burning spiked chains exploded toward Jay.
Jay barely managed to raise a light shield, the impact forcing him backward.
He dashed away, firing light beams to cover his retreat—but Julius was faster.
Chains whipped past trees and stone, slamming behind Jay with explosive force.
The ground shattered in their wake.
---
Back at Argos, Bin and Hook arrived under dark skies.
The city was quiet… too quiet.
Bin paused, then whispered, "He's here."
And then—they appeared.
Malakar and Rigor emerged from the shadows, their dark auras radiating like a storm.
"Long time no see… bin," Malakar said, voice thick.
"This ends now, Malakar. I won't let you destroy Aetheris."
Hook's eyes darted to the ground. His fingers twitched.
Then—suddenly—blades from the ground rose, glowing faintly under his telekinesis, and shot straight toward Malakar and Rigor.
CLANG!
All of them were caught By Rigor.
With barely a movement, he intercepted every single blade.
Hook's eyes widened.
His hand shook.
"That reflex… what are you?" he whispered.
Rigor turned to him, cold and calm.
"You can't kill me, Bin. You don't have it in you."
He stepped forward.
"And when you're dead… there will be no one left to inherit the power of light."
"You're the last Light Descendant."
Bin's eyes narrowed—but deep within, a memory stirred.
A flash of the past.
A time before this war.
A time with Malakar… as his brother.
But the past would have to wait.
Because now, the war for the future had begun.
