"Hey."

The moment before the teleportation.

As the word fell, Orsted, who had intended to speak with Allen, was looking at the opposite side of the river.

Norn's crying face was so clear in Orsted's pupils.

He had flashed behind Allen, originally intending to stop this swordsman of the Sword God Style, who had not existed in the past hundreds of loops, and ask him where he came from...

...and where he was going to die?

But he noticed Allen's gaze, and instinctively followed it to look forward.

With just one glance, his brows rose.

'Norn?'

'Why is she in Flowing Falls City at this time?'

'Another variable.'

'What's going on?'

The next instant, a powerful surge of mana pulled his attention once again from the scene before him to the sky in the east.

He didn't even need to look up. In Orsted's Sense Flow, the chaotic mana vortex announced its presence like a scorching sun.

The summoning spell, hanging in the sky, had been completed.

But the mana source in the sky was depleted...

A spontaneously generated teleportation spell?

Impossible.

This was also something that had never happened in the 'past'... And a variable of this magnitude had completely exceeded the scope of 'reason.'

The inexplicable, strange power of a 'god.'

A Divine Child?

He had never seen this kind of Divine Child in the 'past.'

Orsted narrowed his eyes.

'Human God's trick?'

After this fleeting thought, the mana in the eastern sky became even more chaotic, reaching a stage where the magic structure was collapsing and trying to replenish its mana on its own.

Orsted looked deeply at Norn.

'The Dragon God's Gate can only shield one person.'

'There's no time.'

'Thwarting Human God's intentions is more important. The rest are minor matters.'

'Besides, this time it's not a given that I won't encounter Ruijerd...'

'Forget it. I won't think about it anymore.'

'If it doesn't work, then there's always "next time".'

Orsted moved. His figure vanished from Allen's sight.

He was moving so fast that it made his figure appear impossibly 'slow.'

He made his decision, then looked down and plunged into the Styrian Well beside him. His gaze casually swept over the bare stone steps on both sides.

The dolls that the Puppeteer had used as a railing for the steps had been badly damaged and were cleaned up by the Flowing Falls City municipality, replaced by newly painted wooden railings.

"Another variable."

Orsted turned to glance at the Styrian Well's door behind him. Then he turned, descending the stairs step by step.

He reached the middle of the corridor.

Before him was the 'well' of light that shone down from the sky.

Because the light from the skylight overhead was already very dim, and the sky outside was only a stream of filthy colors, the usually clear river looked incredibly murky.

He dove headfirst into the water. His figure plunged straight down under the respectful control of Sense Flow and battle aura, quickly reaching the riverbed.

Bang, he crushed the doll's arm that Eris had thrown down earlier, which was now on a large stone at the bottom.

"Another variable."

The large stone at the bottom shattered along with his force, bursting into pieces in the water.

A dark channel, previously hidden by the stone, appeared underwater. The bottom of the river was dark, without a single ray of light.

Orsted leaped down from the edge of the rock. His figure continued to plunge straight down, moving extremely fast, all the way down.

Thump!

He landed on the 'end.'

The darkness disappeared.

Something shone with a blue-white light.

And thanks to this light, the stone walls of the surrounding underwater channel also revealed their appearance.

This was a huge underground cavity, dozens of meters in circumference, eroded by a subterranean river.

A dense circle of human-mermaid sculptures quietly watched the blue-glowing object in the center.

It was a square 'platform,' about seven to ten square meters in size.

The blue-white light came from the magic stones embedded around the platform. On the platform, deep, intricate engravings eroded by the water covered the entire surface.

It was a dense magic circle of interlocking parts.

Orsted didn't even glance at the bizarre mermaid sculptures around him. He stepped onto the magic circle. Because of his immense speed, the water, forced by kinetic energy, slammed against the stone walls, making the entire hollow cavern tremble.

A flash of light.

Orsted's figure vanished.

Why were there so many dolls in the Styrian Well?

Because this was the task Orsted had given to the son of the Dragon King:

To guard this teleportation magic circle left by the Sea Folk, and to prevent any unwitting adventurers from destroying it.

It wasn't that Orsted had any intention of protecting the ruins.

It was purely for convenience of travel.

It was worth noting that this teleportation magic circle was never actually used back then. In the Second Human-Demon War, the Sea Folk, using the Flowing Falls City magic circle that their ancestor had used to try and assimilate humans, chose the best location. They secretly and meticulously followed a subterranean river one by one, ultimately choosing this geothermal lake in a gorge of the Red Dragon Mountains to activate this teleportation magic circle.

The purpose—

To allow the demon race, who were attacking from the north, to enter the mountains, and, using a sneak attack, enter the heart of the Asura Kingdom to deliver a fatal blow to the human race.

But only a few days after it was completed, and before they could even tell their allies, the Seven Heroes convinced the Sea Folk King to remain neutral.

Thus, the magic circle was abandoned.

Rumble!!!

Orsted's figure, like a sword, cut through the geothermal lake, creating a hollow, deep crater in the water.

Bang, his foot landed on the ground of the snowy valley.

Before him, the landscape of the snowy valley, which should have been filled with monsters, had changed.

Boundless white bones.

There was no sign of life.

The monsters that Orsted had driven here to live and breed had all died.

Even though the snowy valley had been washed by snow and rain over the past two years of changing seasons.

One could still see faint wisps of dark brown in the cracks of the bones.

That was the lingering trace of the blood lake that had once been here.

Orsted's gaze swept over everything. With just a slight lift of his head, he could see the sky twisting.

But he was not in a hurry to go to the core of the Great Teleportation. He simply held his palm flat, before him.

A rough voice, like the whistling of wind, sounded.

"That dragon, born of loyalty and righteousness, with a winding, unstoppable blade, never clenches its fist."

"Another dragon, though its claws be broken and its teeth be shattered, never abandons its destination. The thing it holds tightly in its hand is a sharp desire, which fulfills loyalty and righteousness."

"And another dragon, though it dies without regret, its pupils burn with a fire that tears the sky, and its silver scales build the bodies of Dragon Generals."

"In the name of Orsted, I summon."

"The Dragon God's Gate."

The moment the words fell! The corrupted southern sky collapsed!! It flickered!!

An overwhelming white light seemed to be fiercely clenched by heaven and earth, expanding, and rushing in from the distance! It annihilated all the ground in its path! It flooded the entire snowy valley like a tide.

Swish!!!!

The light passed.

The entire hilltop of the snowy valley was completely barren. The matter was captured and turned into mana, replenishing the mana deficit of the summoning spell in the sky.

However...

Three circular, dark gold doorways, with dragon patterns winding around them, stood silently on the barren hilltop.

A gust of wind blew, turning them into specks of dust that scattered.

Orsted's figure was revealed underneath.

The Dragon Race's Summoning Secret Art—"The Dragon God's Gate"—absorbed all the surrounding mana, including but not limited to the mana in the air, the mana in human bodies, and even...

...the battle aura, which was essentially mana.

The "Great Teleportation Disaster," which was essentially a summoning spell, was already trying to gather mana. It naturally bypassed this black hole.

A gloomy starlight slanted down from the sky. After the mana vortex, night had already fallen.

Even so, the impression the surroundings gave people was more 'pristine.'

Orsted turned to look east, and his figure shot out.

A huge crack appeared on the ground, radiating outwards from his center, and soon disappeared beneath the Red Dragon Mountains.

The town of Weitz, once between Roa and Buena Village, had become a barren plain.

This was the center of the teleportation magic.

In the darkness of the night, a black-haired girl crouched on the ground, wearing a suit-style uniform, a knee-length pleated skirt, knee-high socks, and low-heeled leather shoes.

A common Japanese high school girl's outfit.

She buried her head between her knees, tightly clutching the strap of her shoulder bag, as if this could mask the unease in her heart.

Clack.

Footsteps sounded in front of her, crushing a stone.

The girl named Nanahoshi, buried between her knees, suddenly showed a hint of joy, but then a surge of anger, as if she had been fooled. She fiercely looked up, at the person who had arrived.

She froze.

Orsted, wearing a long white coat made of silver dragon leather, stood before her. His golden dragon eyes were still very hot in the night. Coupled with his two-meter height and sharp-eyed demeanor, he truly startled Nanahoshi.

She scrambled backward a few steps on the ground, then stopped, staring fixedly at Orsted.

The latter, however, quietly observed Nanahoshi, his brows furrowed, as if wondering why she was so weak, so weak that there wasn't a single trace of mana in her body.

He still used his typically blunt, heart-to-heart, Orsted-style greeting.

"Human God's apostle?"

Nanahoshi, a transmigrator from Japan, had side-swept bangs and long hair that reached her waist. Her eyes were large and round, and her face had the typical soft features of a Japanese girl.

Because she was only seventeen this year, her jawline was still a little round, giving her a very youthful appearance.

Tears stained her face.

She ignored Orsted's question. She looked at Orsted, then suddenly froze and shouted loudly.

"What are you saying?! Are you a foreigner?! Where am I?! What kind of prank show is this?! Send me home! I'm going to report you to the police!!"

Orsted listened to her gibberish, then tilted his head. The next instant, he suddenly appeared before Nanahoshi and grabbed her wrist.

He lifted Nanahoshi up with his hand. The top right corner of her phone's glowing screen showed no signal.

A gust of wind blew, and the light went out.

The phone turned into a pile of dust, flowing down from Nanahoshi's hand.

He held Nanahoshi in front of him like a chick.

"You're not afraid of me? Don't try to deceive me. Tell me, what did Human God send you to do?"

The latter was bound by Flow Ougi and completely unable to move. Seeing her phone turn into dust from battle aura, she looked noticeably dazed for an instant. Then, after being completely frozen for a full minute, she broke down in tears, looking utterly lost and helpless.

Orsted's presence had crushed the last bit of fantasy she had that this was some kind of prank show.

She had wandered around before. There was nothing. The ground was very real, made of fine yellow sand.

No buildings, no people, no animals, no lights.

Only the stars in the sky and the words she was saying:

"What's wrong, what's wrong, am I still in Japan? Where am I? Where am I? Why is this happening?"

Orsted observed Nanahoshi for a while. After confirming she had no power to resist at all, he tossed her to the ground.

The latter, however, tripped over something on the ground. Before she could even land properly, she scrambled backward, crying, and pushing herself away on the yellow sand.

She was completely broken.

Orsted's gaze fell on the thing the girl was trying to avoid.

It was a man.

His clothes were similar to the fabric of the girl's.

He was not breathing. There was no heartbeat. His entire body looked as if he had fallen from a great height, his bones shattered by the immense impact. The skin on his body was scorched by mana turbulence, leaving ugly scars all over.

He was dead.

A corpse.

"The summoning spell... only succeeded halfway? One of them died, the other is speaking gibberish. If they are Human God's apostles..."

"They are too clumsy."

He turned to look at the girl's broken leg bones and extended his hand. A green glow appeared.

In an instant, he healed her broken leg.

He extended his hand, placing it in front of Nanahoshi.

His body language was meant to convey kindness.

But given his previous actions, it was hard to call it 'kindness.'

Not long after, footsteps sounded.

Two figures, one large and one small, walked away.

As for the corpse, there was no need to take it.

The corpse, torn apart by mana, had no value for investigation.

Starlight continued to twinkle, falling on the corpse's face.

Scratch, scratch.

The wind peeled off fragments of its surface.

From the legs, to the abdomen, to the waist, to the shoulders, it cracked from outside in.

Until it reached the face, which was unrecognizable due to the scorching of mana turbulence.

Certain changes occurred.

The shape of the corpse's facial bones twisted, changing.

The jaw became sharper, the brow bone became more pronounced. At the same time, the body's bones also grew thicker, and the figure stretched.

But this only accelerated the corpse's disintegration.

The next instant.

Bang!!

The corpse exploded into a cloud of dust. The wind caught it and threw it into the sky. It spun, then defied gravity, being sucked in, drawn in, and pulled all the way across the heavens.

Like fine, dense mist.

It went over mountains and across seas.

Like a cloud of smoke, it wrapped around someone's body, and with a twitch.

It was sucked into his body.

The shell was looking for its soul.

The will of the world was correcting the 'discord.'

Subtracting the extra parts, adding the missing parts, erasing the parts not protected by the teleportation's rules, and dealing with the impurities that were forcibly crammed into the teleportation magic by a kind of smuggling through a rift.

Thus.

Traces covered traces.

Wheel marks rolled over wheel marks.

Water merged into water.

Allen...

...became Allen.

Whether it was his soul.

Or his body.

The wind from the upper atmosphere blew his black hair into a mess.

Allen.

Was falling.

The constantly drifting smoke of dust was intermittently shattered before his eyes by the wind.

[Came from fate]

[To go to fate]

Dawn.

The morning sun once again shone on Flowing Falls City.

The white-haired girl's face was pale, kneeling on the fractured Bridgit Continent Bridge.

Tears, which had not fallen for a long time, streamed down her face in the sunlight.

"Allen... why..."

Before her, on the other side of the broken bridge.

Half of Flowing Falls City had been razed to the ground. The water from the city flowed down like a waterfall along the fractured teleportation 'cut.'

The ground had sunk five meters, and it was a muddy mess in her tear-filled eyes.

The teleported: Zenith, Lilia, Aisha, Norn, and Allen.

Along with countless Asuran commoners.

Dragon Calendar, Year 414.

End of June.

The Great Teleportation, advanced by two years.

The range, expanded by two times.
