Chapter 48 - Let Me Add the Benefits.

Nene was still processing the wordslegally unbreakable when the instructor continued.

"Before you panic," he said smoothly, "let me add the benefits."

Nene snapped her head up, narrowing her eyes.

"Benefits?"

The instructor chuckled.

"Of course," he mused. "A Full Security Override isn't just about control—it's about protection."

He turned back to the board, writing in sharp, deliberate strokes.

Benefits of a Full Security Override Marriage

1. Absolute Protection

The spouse is legally shielded from all outside claims.

No Alpha, Enforcer, or Elder can challenge or lay claim to the bonded partner.

The partner gains the highest-ranked security clearance within their spouse's domain.

Nene paused.

Okay.

That… actually didn't sound terrible.

Because if someone wanted to use her bloodline against her, they legally couldn't now.

She tapped her fingers against the desk, still skeptical.

"That just sounds like glorified ownership," she muttered.

The instructor smirked.

"Does it?" he mused. "Or does it sound like your husband just eliminated every possible rival who might try to take you from him?"

Nene stiffened.

Because…Damn it.

That actually made sense.

The instructor moved to the next point.

2. Inheritance & Financial Merging

All financial assets merge unless stated otherwise.

Spouse gains automatic decision-making power over their partner's estate in emergencies.

If one spouse is ranked higher, their status overrides in external negotiations.

Nene narrowed her eyes.

"So if one partner is stronger, the other gets upgraded?"

"Exactly," the instructor confirmed. "Your standing in the hierarchy is now tied to your husband's rank."

Nene exhaled sharply.

Which meant…she wasn't just dominant anymore.

She was ranked through Alexander's status as well.

The instructor moved to the last point.

3. Biological Stability & Instinct Regulation

The bond helps regulate aggression, sleep cycles, and instinctive behaviors.

Unstable Alphas gain balance through an established dominant hierarchy.

Fated Mates under this contract cannot reject the bond.

Nene froze.

"Wait," she said slowly. "Fated Mates?"

The instructor tilted his head, amused.

"Yes," he said. "Though it doesn't apply unless the pair is actually Fated."

Nene exhaled, relieved.

Good.

Because she wasn't a Fated Mate.

She would've known, right?

…Right?

The instructor set the chalk down, turning back to her.

"Feel better now, Miss Nara?" he asked smoothly.

Nene huffed, crossing her arms.

"I don't know," she muttered. "Should I?"

The instructor chuckled.

"Depends," he mused. "On whether or not you trust your husband."

Nene scowled.

Then she leaned forward slightly, tilting her head.

"Alright, get to the point." she said smoothly. "With Real cases, real names. What loopholes are actively being used right now?"

The instructor smirked slightly, amused.

He knew she wasn't asking for curiosity.

She was analyzing. Learning. Figuring out exactly how the system worked.

"Alright," he said smoothly, turning back to the board. "Let's break it down."

He listed four names and their corresponding loopholes.

She immediately recognized the first one.

1. The Power Marriage Loophole

→ Case: Lin Zhen (Alpha) & Li Xiu (Alpha), Bloodlines: Lin & Li Packs

Used when two powerful Alphas want an alliance without merging packs.

One partner "steps back" on paper, while still holding influence.

The stronger Alpha keeps full control of their original pack.

Nene gritted her teeth.

Her mother and Lin Zhen.

Her stepfather wasn't weak.

But in legal terms, her mother had always been the stronger Alpha.

And to avoid a power struggle, they had kept their territories separate.

The instructor glanced at her knowingly.

"This strategy is common when two high-ranking Alphas marry," he explained. **"Your mother's pack remains under her name, while Lin Zhen manages his own. But make no mistake—Li Xiu holds just as much power."

Nene huffed.

So her mother had played the game well.

And nobody had dared to challenge her for it.

The instructor moved on.

2. The Unshakable Rank Loophole

→ Case: Alpha Jin Wuying (#1 Alpha in the World), Mate: Bai Wei (Beta), Bloodline: Jin Dynasty Pack

The #1 ranked Alpha in the world cannot be challenged legally.

His mate is a Beta, avoiding power struggles between two Alphas.

Bai Wei has full legal control over pack assets, despite not being an Alpha.

Nene stiffened slightly.

Jin Wuying.

The only Alpha in the world that even Alexander wouldn't casually provoke.

And his mate?

A Beta.

The instructor grinned slightly, watching her reaction.

"This is one of the most fascinating cases of Alpha-Beta dynamics," he mused. "Jin Wuying, despite being the most powerful Alpha alive, married a Beta."

Nene frowned.

"But why?"

The instructor chuckled.

"Because two Alphas of his level in a marriage would have been disastrous." He smirked. "Instead, Bai Wei—his Beta mate—handles everything he doesn't want to deal with. The pack respects him as if he were an Alpha, and the marriage remains stable."

Nene exhaled slowly.

A Beta, commanding an Alpha empire.

Now that was power.

The instructor moved to the next case.

3. The Separate Pack Loophole

→ Case: Alpha Qiao Heng (#99 Ranked Alpha), Bloodline: Qiao Clan Packs

A single Alpha rules over two separate legal packs.

The packs recognize the same leader, but have different governing laws.

Used frequently in Alpha marriages to prevent dominance struggles.

Nene tilted her head.

"This is a common marriage loophole?" she asked.

The instructor nodded.

"Yes. Many Alphas in arranged marriages use this strategy to keep control over their own bloodline while still forming alliances."

"So they're married on paper, but their packs stay separate?"

"Exactly," he confirmed. "This prevents one Alpha from being legally overpowered by the other."

Nene huffed.

"So it's just a way to avoid losing."

The instructor chuckled.

"In high-ranking Alpha marriages? Yes."

Finally, he moved to the last—and most dangerous— loophole.

4. The Omega Loophole (Most Common & Most Abused)

→ Case: Applied to ALL Unmarried Omegas

Omegas cannot be forced into a bond.

However, if they "voluntarily submit," they lose their protection laws.

Any Omega who is unclaimed and unmarried remains vulnerable to legal manipulation.

Nene grimaced.

"So any unmarried Omega has to be careful?"

The instructor nodded.

"Yes," he said seriously. "Omegas have strict protection laws, but they only work if the Omega follows protocol. The moment they willingly submit, those laws disappear."

Nene exhaled sharply.

Because this?

This was why so many Omegas got trapped.

They thought they had legal protections… until they made one wrong move.

She leaned back, processing everything.

Four cases.

Four different ways people played the system. She was starting to see the game for what it really was.

The instructor turned back to her, amused.

"That answer your question, Miss Nara?" he mused.

Nene smirked slightly.

"For now."

The instructor set the chalk down, glancing at the clock.

"That's all for today," he announced. "Tomorrow, we'll be covering courting and relationships."

Nene blinked. Courting?

The classroom shifted slightly, students exchanging glances.

Some of the Betas looked intrigued.

The Omegas looked mildly uncomfortable.

The instructor smirked slightly, clearly enjoying the reactions.

"Yes, yes," he said smoothly. "I know some of you think this isn't necessary, but relationships in werewolf society are as political as they are instinctual."

He turned to the board, writing out the topics for the next session.

- Traditional Alpha courtship practices- Beta and Omega relationship structures- Fated Mates vs. Chosen Mates- Legal implications of mate bonds

Nene's fingers twitched.

Because Fated Mates were on that list.

And she still didn't fully understand what that meant.

The instructor turned back, scanning the class.

"Come prepared," he said smoothly. "It's going to be an interesting discussion."

Nene huffed, slinging her bag over her shoulder.

Interesting was one way to put it.

She had a very bad feeling about this lesson.
