Chapter 70 - Chapter 69: The Strongest Battle (Part 2)

"Wahaha! I knew it—Boss is the strongest in the damn universe! Did you see that? That so-called God of Destruction? What a joke!"

Taurus was the first to shout, fired up beyond belief. Whis had already left, so they couldn't see the live feed through his projection anymore—but don't forget, the Great Elder of Namek was still around. Right now, Krillin and the other Namekians were sitting in a circle, hands on each other's shoulders, eyes shut, watching the fight through the Elder's psychic vision.

"Incredible…Goku actually defeated Lord Beerus. That's something no one's ever done before," the Great Elder murmured in awe.

"A mortal… beat a god? That's insane. Goku just made history," one of the Namekians said, still in disbelief.

"Beating Beerus is one thing… but now he's going after Whis? That guy looks even tougher. Is Goku trying to destroy the universe or what?"

Yamcha wiped the sweat from his forehead, unable to keep quiet.

"Sigh… Looks like we'll never catch up to Goku," Krillin said with a frustrated exhale.

Inside the World Ring, the women all relaxed when they saw Goku win—but as soon as he turned to challenge Whis, their relief disappeared. Worry took its place.

"This guy… can't he just chill for once? Why does he always go looking for trouble? Doesn't he realize we're over here stressing out about him?"

Saya glared at the screen, her face full of irritation.

"Saiyans are a warrior race. Fighting's in their blood. That's why he can't back down when he sees someone stronger," Yuriko said, eyes locked on Goku, burning with admiration. "we just support him from the sidelines and pray he makes it through. Honestly, having a husband this powerful… what more could a girl ask for?"

"Exactly. As his women, all we can do is stand behind him, cheer him on, and pray he comes back alive," said Saeko, her eyes shining with affection. A woman like her, drawn to danger and blood, naturally craved a man with strength and presence like Goku.

Mikoto and Kushina were straight-up stunned. Power that could destroy entire planets like it was nothing? That wasn't something they'd ever imagined.

"What kind of freak show world is this?" Kushina muttered. Compared to this, the Nine-Tails looked like a damn kitten.

Meanwhile, the three little lolis—Alice and the others—had stars in their eyes. Full fan mode.

"Lord Beerus!"

In a blink, Whis appeared at Beerus's side, flipped him over, and checked his pulse. Nothing. His face darkened. As Beerus's teacher and longtime companion, their bond went deeper than words. Seeing him dead in front of him? Yeah—Whis was pissed.

"You've made a huge mistake," Whis said coldly. "And now, you're going to pay the price."

He tapped Beerus's body with his staff. The corpse vanished. Then he slowly turned, eyes locking on Goku, expression dark as hell.

"Heh… if you're here for revenge, bring it on. I don't go easy on enemies. Unless, of course… you're a beautiful woman."

Goku chuckled, grinning. He hadn't just absorbed Beerus's energy—he'd taken in every last drop of his life force. That's what let him merge with Beerus's power and glimpse a whole new level of strength.

But that level… it felt forbidden, like some invisible wall was holding him back. Goku knew—if he could push past it, he'd evolve. Not just stronger. He'd become something else entirely. A god.

"Goku… I'll give you this. You're one hell of a fighter. Rising from the bottom all the way here? Not many can say that," Whis said. "But guys like you, if you don't follow the rules… you're a threat to the entire universe. So I'll eliminate you. For the sake of balance."

His power began to surge. Space around him rippled under the pressure.

Goku's face turned serious. "His energy… it's bending space itself?" Then he grinned again. "If I can break past Super Saiyan 4… maybe I can reach him."

"Let's go then! Show me what the God of Destruction's teacher is really made of!"

Goku shouted and launched himself at Whis, fist pulled back and ready to strike.

But Whis calmly raised his staff and tapped the air in front of him. A barrier of light formed instantly. Goku's punch slammed into it, sending ripples across the surface—but it didn't break.

Goku's eyes narrowed. Before he could react, Whis tapped his staff again. The barrier suddenly released a massive burst of force—blasting Goku backward. He skidded across the ground, carving a trench hundreds of meters long before finally stopping.

"Hmph. Tricky moves. And damn strong. But don't underestimate me."

Goku yelled and teleported, reappearing right above Whis. He brought his leg down in a devastating axe kick. The blow cracked the barrier and slammed Whis into the ground like a meteor. The surrounding terrain split open, deep craters forming in all directions.

Whis rose out of the pit, brushing off the dust. He stared at Goku, eyes narrowing.

"Impressive. Your power's just about caught up to mine. Guess I can't hold back anymore."

He dismissed his staff. A terrifying energy surged from his body—pure divine pressure. A real god's power.

This was it. A battle that would shake the universe was about to begin.

---

"So this is Whis's true power? Damn... he's strong!"

Feeling Whis's aura, Goku couldn't help but be alarmed. There was no denying it—Whis's strength far outclassed his current level. Whis was an entire tier above Super Saiyan 4. Fusion power alone wasn't enough to cross that gap.

But now that Goku had absorbed both Beerus's energy and his divine realm, the distance between him and Whis had shrunk significantly.

Whis took a step forward—then in a flash, appeared right in front of Goku. His fist lashed out.

Boom!

The air trembled. The ground shook. Space itself rippled from the punch's force as it barreled toward Goku.

Goku's face shifted. That punch didn't just carry brute force—it carried the power to shatter space. It looked simple, like a clean right hook… but it packed a god's will behind it.

He had no time to dodge. Hands pressed together, Goku summoned a barrier of energy just in time to shield himself.

Crash!

Whis's punch slammed into the shield—and in the next instant, it shattered. The blast of force struck Goku full-on. He raised his arms to block, but it still sent him flying backwards. He was blown over a Kilometre before finally regaining control mid-air.

"What the hell is that technique?" Goku frowned, staring at Whis in the distance. "Is he using space manipulation? Doesn't seem like it… but his attacks are distorting space—almost like it's ready to crack at any second."

Then it hit him. His eyes narrowed.

"Wait a sec… is his power so massive that it's literally breaking the limits of this world? Is that what happens past Super Saiyan 4? You gain the power to destroy space itself?"

Whis stepped forward again. "Goku, I'll give you credit—you're strong. You haven't even reached my level, but you still survived my blow. Impressive. But your power, while it may be immense… hasn't broken through. You've reached the limit, but you haven't surpassed it. And that's why you'll never beat me."

He vanished—and reappeared beside Goku in an instant. His tone was calm, almost casual. But there was zero doubt in his voice. Whis knew he had the edge. Because the gap between realms couldn't be crossed with brute force alone.

"The limit, huh?" Goku scoffed. "So what?"

He threw a straight punch, eyes burning with fighting spirit. "If you can't one-shot me, I've got nothing to be afraid of!"

"Then let me show you what power beyond the limit really looks like."

Whis threw another punch, and this time, his arm glowed with pure destructive energy. The forces of the universe seemed to respond to him.

BOOM—

Fists collided, and the shockwave was apocalyptic. The ground caved in thousands of meters. Just one clash, and the planet was already teetering on the brink of destruction.

At the point of impact, energy exploded. A streak of Whis's destructive power surged down Goku's arm. Flesh tore open. Bone showed through.

"Damn—!"

Goku blurred away from the impact zone just in time, clutching his now mangled right hand.

If he'd been a second slower, his entire body would've been shredded.

"That was... power beyond the limit?" Goku muttered, his expression grim. Whis was even stronger than he imagined. That force—crushing, absolute, capable of tearing through anything—was something he simply couldn't match.

"Yes. This is what we call Destruction Force. Only those who've truly stepped into godhood can wield it. It's not just strength—it's the power to destroy everything, even space itself.

"Lord Beerus only barely touched this realm. That's why you'll never defeat me."

Whis struck again—his punch sending a razor-sharp shockwave tearing toward Goku. Where it passed, the air split apart, space cracked into thin rifts. If the wind from that blow so much as grazed Goku, it'd cut straight to the bone.

Goku retreated fast, body healing as he moved. His wounds closed at a visible rate—but his face was deadly serious.

He hadn't expected power like this after reaching beyond Super Saiyan 4.

"What's the matter?" Whis asked. "Having second thoughts? It's too late. Your fate was sealed the moment you challenged a god."

Whis blurred forward again.

"Second thoughts?" Goku growled. "Don't make me laugh."

He didn't dodge this time. He charged straight in, fist cocked back.

"Idiot."

BOOM!

Their fists clashed again. The pressure blew through the planet's crust—cracks spread like spiderwebs. The world couldn't hold up much longer.

Whis's attack tore open black rifts in space around Goku's arm. Spatial wind blades lashed out, slicing through flesh. In seconds, Goku was covered in deep gashes. Blood poured from every inch of his body.

"G-Goku…!"

Saeko and the others watching nearly fainted in shock. Krillin and the rest shouted in horror.

"We may only be one realm apart, but this isn't like previous levels. This is the gap between mortal and god. And you dared to challenge a god head-on? idiot."

"The only idiot here… is you!"

Goku's face twisted into a snarl. He charged straight through the spatial rift, ignoring the shredding force around him, and slammed a punch into Whis's face.

BANG!

Whis was blown into the ground—so hard he smashed through the planet's core and exploded out the other side.

"Grrkkk—!"

But the cost was brutal. Goku's arm was shredded by the space tear. Half his body was torn open, twisted into a bloody mess.

"GOKU!"

Saeko and the others screamed. Bulma and Hayashi fainted on the spot.

---

Goku's breath was ragged. His body was healing—but slowly.

Those spatial tears had wrecked him. His energy had dropped hard. And his regeneration relied on that energy—less power meant slower healing.

Still, he wasn't worried. He reached into his World Ring and pulled out a Senzu Bean. One bite—and boom. Energy spiked. His body knit itself back together in seconds.

He was back at full power. In fact… he was stronger than before.

It wasn't a big boost—but it was real. Proof that the last hit had done real damage, pushing him past his limits again.

"Damn… the power of space rupture really hits hard," Goku muttered, frowning. "If I'm not careful, I could really die next time."

Just then—boom.

The ground split open. Magma surged up. The skies cracked with lightning.

This planet was finished.

"Man… this planet's a lot more fragile than I expected," Goku muttered.

He vanished.

Seconds later—BOOM!

The planet exploded into fire, rock, and space dust. In the vastness of the universe, it was just another star going out—like a firework. Here, then gone.?
