Not long after, a group appeared before them—some mercenaries and several snake-men.
The leader of the snake-men, a male with triangular pupils, kept leering at one of the women. His cold, raspy voice was full of lechery. As was typical of snakefolk, they were infamous for their insatiable lust.
Following the leader's orders, the snake-men around him began to grin viciously, their tongues flicking out as they advanced with bloodthirsty intent.
Goku turned to Cai Lin with a faint smile. "Your snakefolk don't seem too friendly toward humans."
"Hmph." Cai Lin's expression darkened, a chill flashing through her eyes. With a cold snort, she stepped forward, releasing an icy killing intent. It was time for the Queen Medusa to remind the world of her name.
Out of the mercenaries, only five remained—three men and two women. The rest, over a dozen, lay in pools of blood. The carnage had clearly been the work of the eight male snakefolk surrounding them.
One of the women caught Goku's attention. She wore a fiery, revealing outfit, looked to be in her early twenties, and her tiny top barely covered her chest. Her bronze-toned waist was completely exposed, and her short leather skirt showed off her long, seductive legs. Several snake-men ogled her hungrily, their eyes filled with lust.
Suddenly, one snake-man swung his blade, decapitating one of the men. Blood sprayed everywhere, making a small girl behind him scream in terror. Her face went pale as she stared in horror at the brutal snakefolk.
"This is the Tagore Desert, our snakefolk territory! You filthy humans shouldn't have set foot here! Now die for your ignorance!" another snake-man sneered cruelly, his blade flashing again. In moments, the remaining two men were cut down in bloody fashion.
Now only the two women remained, and the snake-men were grinning with vile anticipation.
"It's playtime once the fighting's done! Heh heh…"
The two women trembled in fear. With their bodies paralyzed by snake venom, they couldn't even commit suicide. The thought of what awaited them was too horrifying to even imagine.
"What do you think you're doing?" A cold, stern voice rang out just as the snake-men reached for the women. They turned and froze when they saw the speaker.
She was stunning.
