Chapter 324 - Chapter 323: No.01 Asama Miya

"R–Run! Hurry!"

The remaining Sekirei and their Ashikabi panicked as the situation turned dire. Fear filled their faces as they scrambled to flee—because standing before them wasn't a man.

It was a demon.

Had they not just seen that same man send poor Natsuo flying into the sky with a single kick?

Chaos consumed the area.

The frightened Ashikabi fled in disarray with their Sekirei, like frightened strays fleeing a slaughter.

"Come and go as you please… Do you think I'll allow that?"

Goku's calm voice cut through the turmoil, his expression indifferent as he glanced at the scattering crowd.

He gently tapped the ground with his foot.

In an instant, a terrifying wave of invisible energy surged outward from him—rippling violently in all directions.

"BOOM!"

Within seconds, everything within a full kilometer radius was obliterated—reduced to dust and emptiness.

When the choking dust finally settled, all that remained was a vast field of ruin.

Bodies lay scattered across the debris—lifeless, motionless.

A single strike. One strike to end it all.

And standing amid the devastation were only Goku's Sekirei—along with Homura and a few others—frozen in place, wide-eyed in shock.

"Goku! That was far too much!"

A furious voice rang out.

From amidst the rubble, Asama Miya appeared, her face dark with anger. Her eyes blazed with righteous fury as she surveyed the fallen all around.

"You've caused enormous casualties! Do you realize what you've done!?"

To the onlookers, Goku had become nothing short of a monster—a heartless butcher.

"Oh? So it's fine when they try to kill me—but I'm not allowed to kill them?"

Goku's brow furrowed slightly as he met Miya's glare. His tone was calm, but his words carried a deadly edge.

"That's not the point!" Miya shouted. "You involved ordinary people—people who had nothing to do with this fight!"

She was trembling with rage and disbelief. To her, Goku had always seemed gentle, controlled… but this? This was ruthless, cold.

He was killing without even blinking.

"Does it matter?" Goku's lips curved faintly into a mocking smile. "Why should their lives mean anything to me? They're just insects."

"You—You…"

Miya's voice quivered, her face pale. Even Tsukiumi and the others flinched at his indifference.

They were kind-hearted women; to see Goku treat human life as meaningless shook them deeply.

"…Seems like there's nothing left to say," Miya murmured, her tone suddenly icy.

A flash of cold light gleamed as a real sword appeared in her hand—not her usual wooden one.

"Oh? A real blade this time? So you're serious, then."

Goku's eyes narrowed, still smiling faintly.

From MBI's observation room, Minaka leaned forward, grinning maniacally at the monitor.

"Heh… an internal conflict? Excellent… this will be very entertaining."

---

"What do we do now? Miya-san's going to fight the Master!"

Kuno looked panicked, glancing between Goku and Miya.

Tsukiumi took a deep breath, then stepped forward, placing herself between Goku and Miya. Frost swirled around her body as she glared at Miya with unwavering eyes.

She said, voice steady. "If he errs, a wife bears the burden with him."

Matsu slid to Goku's side, pushing up her glasses. "Different sides, Miya. Don't blame me for picking mine."

Hikari and Hibiki crossed their arms in unison. "If our husband needs punishing, that's our business. You're an outsider—don't touch him."

Uzume bit her lip. "Landlady, I really don't want to fight you… but if you try to hurt Goku, I won't just watch."

Goku lifted a hand. "All of you, stand down. This is between me and her."

They withdrew, loyalties made plain.

"So—you truly mean to fight me?" he asked.

"I cannot accept what you've done," Miya answered, gentle warmth gone from her face.

"Because of Asama Takehito, isn't it?" Goku's tone cooled. "You admired that soft-hearted man, and his weakness clouded your judgment."

"Don't you dare insult Takehito!"

Miya's blade flashed—fast, precise, ruthless.

Goku flicked a finger.

Snap. Her cutting wave shattered.

"What—!?" Miya's eyes widened. Even steel fell to her sword, yet he'd dispersed it like dust.

"Now you see the gap," Goku said. "And you know the penalty for a Sekirei who raises her hand against her Ashikabi…"

"My Ashikabi? Stop talking nonsense! My Ashikabi is Takehito!"

"Is it?"

Pressure rolled off him like an ocean swell.

Miya's breath caught; her pulse hammered. "…No! My Ashikabi is… Takehito!" She surged forward and punched with everything she had.

BOOM. The ground cratered. Goku didn't budge.

Spent, Miya buckled. Goku caught her, scowling. "Pathetic. Forget that man. Your Ashikabi is me—the only one worthy of you in this world."

He kissed her.

Light burst from the Sekirei crest at her nape; ethereal wings unfolded.

"I—I'm being winged? How—?" Miya stared at her hands, shaking. "This power… it's surging—several times stronger than before…"

She looked up, stunned. 'Why could he wing me when even Takehito could not…? My heart—my soul—this feeling… Is he truly the one destined for me?'

"Well, Miya?" Goku smiled faintly. "Still want to fight?"

"…No." She lowered her blade. "Perhaps this is fate."

She had been winged; what remained was to follow her Ashikabi's will. That was a Sekirei's purpose.

Not far away, among the ruins, Karasuba watched with a bright, feverish smile.

"Even No.01, Asama Miya, has been winged… Only someone like him could pull that off."

Her bloodlust thrummed. "Tonight, the city will reek of blood… Don't you agree?" She turned to the voluptuous beauty beside her—No.03, Kazehana—eyes glittering with the promise of a glorious fight.
