The next day :
Nolan took some rest for couple of hours while victor was making breakfast with his sister and the merchant he hasn't woke up.
After completing their breakfast nolan told about bandit group with victor and told " to reach robilestain we don't have any other way ,we will disguise ourselves as merchants all you have to do is act normally like a carriage driver to not let any kind of suspiciousness, I will place Lavinia in a empty barrel to not let them see her ,you understand right ,is that clear " , victor nodded his head multiple times and asked a doubt he have " brother what if our plan didn't go as we thought " , nolan also considered unfavorable situation and thought about a plan, " if any thing goes wrong,you have to get inside the carriage, and hide near the barrels when I say take cover, okay ".
Victor was nervous but he understood that to have a good life they need to take some risks and after packing everything before they leave he asked about what should they do about the merchant guy,nolan gave a faint smile saying " I have a plan to make a use of this guy if things go wrong " ,so they put him inside the carriage and placed few sacks above him to not let anyone see,after completing their preparations they started to move, they traveled for few hours and nolan finally saw the patrolling camp of bandits with his binoculars,he alerted victor and placed Lavinia in a empty barrel and placed few barrel around it ,after hiding Lavinia ,he calmed victor who was sweating ,driving the carriage near the bandits camp and saw few tents with some horses also saw couple of carriage's stopped in the road and a fat guy handing coins to a person whom gave a signal by lifting his hand by upwards,a wooden barricade was moved to the side with enough space for a carriage to move, when the two carriage's moved,
they were halted by a bandit ,whom looked at nolan and asked his Merchant card ,nolan getting down showed his card ,
Confirming nolan's identity he asked about the goods inside,nolan said few goods name memorized " I have wheat beer,falvs roots,few sacks of wheat and few black bread loafs with few other things not that much", bandit guy ordered another men near him to check nolan and carriage, grunting to himself the other guy who checked nolan and the carriage and found nothing suspicious, after confirming everything he asked a question to nolan " your just a iron rank merchant how did you afford to buy this much goods ? " .
Nolan gave a smile and answered " well I got some money as inheritance from my father before leaving my home town and these goods are bought with that money sir " ,the bandit hearing the reply just said okay and ordered to open by giving the hand signal , getting in to the carriage nolan ordered to move , when they are going to cross the barricade a middle aged man who must be in his 40s stopped their carriage and ordered nolan to come out, before getting down he gave nod to victor .
The old bandit looked at nolan and asked about where did he got the carriage, nolan didn't thought about these kind of questions so he told it was bought in mitalek from a merchant for 10 small gold,
The old bandit laughed loud and looked at him with a mocking smile telling " 10 small gold for this thing you have been scammed but you should also known name of the merchant who sold this carriage right,so tell me what's his name " ,nolan just said whatever name popped in his head " it's Franco ". after hearing Nolan's reply the old bandit laughed and looked at a guy near him said " this guy must thought us as idiots, beat him up and search the carriage fully " , hearing the old bandit words nolan shouted " take cover " and he didn't waste a second ,he took 1911 from inventory fried two men near him in their chest , shot the old bandit in his tigh and shot other three men around him and changed the magazine, hearing the gun shot few men ran out from their tents and saw a person standing near the barricade with a carriage,around him their comrades on the ground taking weapons in their hands they ran at nolan whom shot everyone with precision, emptying the magazine ,so he took nagant and shot the remaining bandits,he totally killed 16 men and 1 person Writhing in pain , Nolan asked the old bandit about how did he identified the carriage,by pressing his thumb on the bullet wound,not being able to bear the pain old bandit told everything,to put it simply those merchant's will paint a small circle with yellow colour on the left side of carriage as a sign to indicate they have goods( which means people), only the merchant's and few members in the bandit group knows about this method.
When nolan was listening to the old bandit words,he heard sound of a horse sprinting and saw a men riding the horse,he aimed his gun at the horse but couldn't shoot the horse as ran in to the forest before he could shoot,old bandit laughed at nolan as the horse ran away and said " my brothers and my boss will definitely kill you in painful way this forest is our domain they my brother's will hunt you down" , Nolan being annoyed changed 1911 with fresh magazine and shot all bullets in to the old bandit and said " they are the ones who are going to die as**ole".
