Chapter 198 - Chaos Break from the Mouth of 'Rappa and Daziel's Scurry'

Daziel opened his eyes, looking at the screen with a hint of surprise.

How long had it been?

Looking at Jade's pop-up message on his phone, Daziel couldn't help but marvel at the Interstellar Peace Corporation's exceptional intelligence gathering capabilities and incredibly fast efficiency.

This was also the fundamental reason why Lady Jade's Compassionate Pawnshop could continue operating.

He picked up his phone and opened the chat window.

[Jade: Found her! Mr. Daziel.]

Daziel's finger tapped lightly on the screen, without any superfluous words.

[Daziel: Coordinates.]

Jade's reply was almost instantaneous, a precise star system coordinate chain was sent over.

[Jade: She's right here.]

Daziel glanced at it, then tapped his finger again.

[Daziel: Thank you. Looking forward to our next collaboration.]

[Jade: Just remember to settle this time's outstanding balance. Let me know when you're settling up, I need to reserve time in advance.]

Even though the content of the outstanding balance was clearly a transaction of ambiguous and lewd nature.

Yet, the text in Jade's chat window still maintained a commercial tone.

[Daziel: I will.]

He closed the chat window, opened the coordinate chain, and his gaze fell on the string of coordinates he had just received.

It was a barren planet on the edge of the Chardon Star System, a blind spot that even interstellar navigation maps bothered to detail.

Rarely inhabited, it could almost be called a forbidden zone for life.

How exactly did the Corporation manage to find Rappa in the vast universe in such a short time?

Judging by these coordinates, Rappa seemed to have intentionally hidden herself here.

A flicker of doubt crossed Daziel's mind, but he quickly suppressed it.

That wasn't important; the result was.

He picked up a dark, thick coat from the back of the chair and swiftly put it on.

"Going somewhere?"

A soft voice came from the doorway; Tingyun was leaning against the doorframe, tilting her head to look at him.

Daziel zipped up his coat, his movements showing no pause: "Going to take care of something, I'll be back soon."

Tingyun showed a reassuring smile and nodded obediently.

"Have a safe trip, Daziel."

The way she said "Daziel" carried a warmth that dispelled some of the chill in the air. Daziel's figure disappeared behind the door, and a moment later, a faint engine hum sounded, then quickly returned to silence.

The Interstellar Warp tunnel stretched out before him, then contracted in an instant.

When his vision cleared again, a desolate tableau unfolded before Daziel. A dim white dwarf star hung in the dark sky, casting a pale and weak light.

He had arrived at his destination.

From receiving the message to his departure, only a few minutes had passed; Rappa couldn't have gone too far.

The train landed silently behind a huge rocky mountain range, blending with the surrounding rust-red environment. The hatch opened, and a gust of

Daziel stepped down the gangway, his footsteps as light as a cat's, leaving no sound on the soft sandy ground.

He quickly found a high vantage point, crouched down, took out a portable telescope from his chest and looked towards a depression below.

He quickly found her.

Even from a distance, that striking pink stood out.

Rappa was kneeling beside a fissure in the ground, seemingly inspecting something. Her hair was disheveled, covered in dust and dark stains.

Her clothes could no longer be called clothes; they were more like a pile of torn rags, barely covering her.

What truly outlined her figure were the white strips of cloth wrapped around her body.

These strips looked as if they had just been taken from a medical kit, stark white and dazzling, forming a sharp contrast with the mottled scars and dirt on her body. They tightly bound her torso and limbs, in a seemingly chaotic yet precise way, supporting her scarred and weary body, and also accentuated her breathtaking curves.

Daziel's breathing hitched slightly.

This appearance was completely different from the flamboyant and confident Rappa in his database.

This was more like a trapped beast that had just broken free from its cage, fiercely carving out a bloody path with claws and teeth.

This was how she looked when she escaped from Dr. Primitive's laboratory.

Daziel thought to himself, *Good heavens*.

He remembered the Corporation's intelligence had mentioned that Rappa was rescued by the Galaxy Ranger from Dr. Primitive's clutches. But her current state clearly indicated that her mental condition had regressed to her escape period, perhaps even worse. The Galaxy Ranger pulled her out, only for her to push herself back into a dead end.

Just as Daziel pondered for a moment, the pink figure below suddenly stiffened.

"Who lurks there?"

A sharp shout pierced the desolate star's silence, her voice hoarse, yet filled with vigilance and killing intent.

Daziel's heart skipped a beat.

He had hidden extremely well, utilizing the terrain and light, even adjusting his breathing to the faintest frequency. He hadn't expected Rappa, even in this state, to have such keen senses.

He did not continue to hide. Since he had been discovered, further concealment would only intensify her suspicion.

Daziel slowly stood up, patted the rust-colored dust from his coat, and walked down from the high ground. His movements were not fast, but each step was steady and powerful, making no attempt to conceal his presence.

Rappa spun around abruptly, her eyes, which should have been agile, now filled with bloodshot madness, fixed deadly on Daziel. When she clearly saw Daziel's face and his sharp attire, the wariness in her eyes turned into cold mockery.

"Hmph, so it's a Government Ninja Operative's minion?"

She struggled to her feet, her tightly bound white strips of cloth straining even tighter with her movement, accentuating her shockingly constricted form.

"I deliberately hid myself here, so how did you still find me?"

This was a huge misunderstanding.

Daziel stopped, maintaining a safe distance from her. He raised both hands, palms forward, indicating he meant no ill will.

"You've got the wrong person, I'm not…"

"Silence!"

Rappa gave him no chance to explain, interrupting him with an angry shout. Her body lunged forward abruptly, and she shot towards Daziel like an arrow released from a bowstring, kicking up a cloud of dust, instantly reaching him.

Her speed was astonishing.

Chanting a move name, she joined her five fingers into a blade, her fingertips slicing through the air with a sharp whistling sound, aiming directly for Daziel's throat.

That was no probe, but a no-holds-barred fatal strike.

Daziel's pupils constricted slightly, his body's reaction faster than his mind's thought. He turned sideways, sank his stance, and with a tricky angle, parried Rappa's hand-blade.

"Clang!"

A dull thud as their arms collided.

Daziel felt a chaotic and brutal force transmit from the point of contact, making his arm tingle slightly. He could feel that this force was utterly undisciplined, driven purely by brute aggression and physical instinct.

Missing with one strike, Rappa's assault did not relent. Using the force of the collision, her body twisted impossibly in mid-air, and her other hand-blade swept horizontally towards Daziel's ribs.

Daziel swiftly took a step back, narrowly dodging the insidious strike.

"I'll say it again, I'm not your enemy."

Daziel frowned, his voice growing cold, "If you don't stop, I won't be polite."

His answer was Rappa's even more frantic gaze and increasingly sharp attacks.

"Smooth-tongued Government Ninja minion! Don't think you can shake my resolve!"

She seemed utterly incapable of listening, completely immersed in her own world. Each attack was accompanied by the low chant of a move name, each pounce executed with full force.

Daziel said no more; he understood that reasoning with Rappa in her current state was futile.

He could only parry and evade, while searching for an opportunity to subdue her.

In the desolate depression, two figures intertwined.

One dark, steady as a mountain; one pink, wild as fire.

Each collision kicked up a circle of flying dust, which, under the pale starlight, looked like exploding clouds of blood mist.

Rappa's attacks were unreserved, broad and sweeping, as if she intended to unleash all the anger and fear accumulated in her heart onto the "enemy" she had identified.

She suddenly performed a backflip, creating a distance of several meters, and formed a complex hand seal in front of her chest.

"Witness my Resolve!"

The white strips of cloth on her body stirred without wind, and an aura far surpassing anything before burst forth from her dilapidated body.

With her final hoarse shout, the complex hand seal abruptly solidified.

Daziel's internal alarm blared; from that aura, he sensed pure offense, unadulterated by any skill, only a suicidal madness.

"Pow! Clang! Zap!"

Rappa actually pulled out several colorful spray cans from behind her back and vigorously pressed them in Daziel's direction.

Accompanied by piercing hissing sounds, red, orange, yellow, green, blue—various dazzling colors erupted like a rainbow toxic mist, instantly enveloping the space between her and Daziel.

This colorful mist not only obstructed vision but also carried a pungent chemical odor, attempting to invade his breath.

*What an unreasonable move*,

Daziel cursed inwardly, yet his feet showed no hesitation, quickly leaping backward. He flipped his left hand, and a completely black poker, tipped with flames, was already in his grasp.

He held the poker horizontally in front of him, returning to its most primitive use as a flaming spear.

Flames surged, forming an impenetrable crimson barrier.

"Clink, clank, clatter!"

A few cruciform shuriken mixed in the paint mist were precisely parried, hitting distant rocks and sparking a few flashes of fire.

The paint mist gradually dispersed, revealing the barren ground stained with bizarre graffiti under the pale starlight, like a child's uncontrolled painting, yet full of unsettling madness.

Rappa's figure stood out starkly on the colorful ground. Seeing her attack fail, the madness in her eyes intensified.

"Government Ninja! My Ninja Way, and my Unyielding Will!"

She growled, chanting a new move name, "Ninjutsu: Seven Falls, Eight Rises!"

Before her words fell, she charged again, her figure elusive, sometimes scuttling along the ground, sometimes leaping through the air, each change in direction without warning, completely defying common sense.

Daziel's gaze sharpened.

He understood that passive defense would only lead him into endless trouble.

Rappa in this state, her mind almost completely ravaged by memetic contamination, her stamina seemingly endless, relying entirely on a stubborn will to sustain herself.

He had to end this quickly!

Just as Rappa charged forward again, she brought her hands together, then abruptly pulled them apart to the sides.

"Old masters are never rice, sentences are never lyrics, the weapon in my hand is never a mere tool, but 'Ninjutsu Science'—forged by Ninjutsu, imbued with Ninja Soul, wielded by Ninjutsu, and dedicated to the Ninja Way."

A gigantic three-bladed shuriken appeared in her hand. The shuriken was several times larger than usual, its edges glinting with cold light, and the sound of wind it generated while spinning was like a ghostly howl. She used all her strength to hurl this deadly weapon.

The massive shuriken tore through the air, howling with irresistible momentum, directly targeting Daziel's chest.

This strike was unavoidable.

Daziel took a deep breath, no longer hesitating. He plunged the poker he held into the ground, and with his right hand, smoothly drew a thicker and longer metal baseball bat from behind his waist. He gripped the bat with both hands, his muscles tensing instantly, and instead of retreating, he stepped forward to meet the fatal spinning blade.

"Shatter!"

A deafening crash.

The baseball bat accurately struck the central axis of the three-bladed shuriken. The violent rotational force transferred through the bat to Daziel's arms, making his web-between-thumb-and-forefinger tingle, but his legs were rooted to the ground, firmly dissipating the force into the earth beneath his feet.

The gigantic shuriken was smacked away by his bat, embedding itself diagonally into the distant ground, half its blade buried in the rust-colored dust, still humming with a low thrum.

With one successful strike, Daziel did not pause.

He had already seen through Rappa's true nature.

Her move names were shouted thunderously, and her aura was impressive enough to fool bystanders, but her use of power was crude and utterly undisciplined.

She was ultimately just a pitiful girl trapped by memetic contamination.

Dealing with an opponent who wasn't even Emissary-level, Daziel was confident he could handle it easily.

"You won't succeed!"

Seeing her strongest ninja tool easily nullified, Rappa's mental defenses seemed to crack even further. She recklessly charged forward again, her hands rapidly forming seals, seemingly trying to unleash some ultimate technique.

*Now's the time.*

A cold glint flashed in Daziel's eyes; he seized the momentary stiffness as she formed her seals.

He did not use the baseball bat, which could cleave stones, but instead pulled out the poker he had plunged into the ground.

With a flicker of his figure, Daziel moved like a phantom to Rappa's side and behind her.

Rappa only felt a gust of wind, her heart horrified, but her hand seals were not yet complete, and she had no time to react.

"Whack!"

A crisp, resounding sound.

Not heavy, but extremely humiliating.

Daziel's poker struck her backside squarely.

"Nya~!"

Rappa let out a cute whimper, and the resolute aura she had gathered instantly dissipated like smoke.

Her body went limp, and she toppled forward onto the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust, her posture utterly disheveled.

The complex hand seal that was about to be completed also completely fell apart due to this sudden strike.

Dust flew, and the air was filled with a bizarre smell of paint and the earthy scent of soil. Daziel gave Rappa no chance to breathe, stepping forward instantly.

He drew a bundle of purple rope from a small pouch on his waist.

This rope was made of special material, gleaming with a faint, subtle luster under the pale starlight. It was a specialized artifact given to him by Fu Xuan, used to restrain Jingliu when she succumbed to the Mara-struck state.

If it could temporarily suppress the overwhelming power of the Blade Master, it was more than sufficient to bind a mentally deranged girl.

Daziel moved skillfully, the rope in his hands like a living thing, swiftly coiling around Rappa's body. After tirelessly practicing with the various female companions in the room, he had already mastered this art.

The knots were positioned just right, both preventing her from struggling free and avoiding unnecessary harm, yet they accentuated her stunning curves to perfection, full of a bound aesthetic.

"Ugh…" Rappa lay sprawled on the ground, feeling her body firmly bound. An unprecedented sense of shame surged through her, and her face instantly flushed crimson. She struggled twice, but found the purple rope unmoving, instead tightening further.

She abruptly lifted her head, her eyes, still burning with mad flames, fixed deadly on Daziel, her voice trembling with humiliation and anger.

"You… you Lewd Government Ninja Operative! How dare you use such vile methods! You're truly despicable!"

At her shout, Daziel awkwardly scratched his cheek. He just wanted to subdue her, he hadn't thought too much.

"Sorry, this way of tying might be a bit…"

He was about to step forward, wanting to adjust her to a more normal posture,

However, Rappa misunderstood his intention, a flicker of panic in her eyes, which was immediately replaced by an even more resolute madness.

"What? Is this not enough for you?"

She gritted her teeth, as if enduring immense humiliation, yet she proactively made an even more astonishing request.

"If… if you bind my hands and feet together, in that 'four-hooved arching' posture… I will only be even more unable to open my eyes! Come on! Unleash your vile thoughts upon me, you despicable Lewd Government Ninja Operative!"

Daziel's hand, reaching for the rope, froze in mid-air.

"I wasn't thinking that…" He muttered softly, but looking at Rappa's contradictory face, red and angry, yet subtly hinting at expectation in her eyes, he instantly understood something.

The Ninja Meme made her obsessed with so-called "Ninja Way" duels. The Sleeping Sunflower Monkey Meme made her act ridiculously in certain moments. And this strange reaction now was undoubtedly the work of a third meme.

The Lust Meme.

These three distinct memes, like parasites warring and merging in his mind, had ultimately twisted her into this current, both obsessive and chaotic, appearance.

Daziel pondered for a moment, then finally nodded slowly. Perhaps, following her "script" was the key to breaking through her shell of madness.

He knelt down, ignoring Rappa's gaze of humiliation and despair, untied some of the ropes, and then, as she had described, firmly bound her wrists and ankles together.

Rappa's body was forced into an extremely shameful posture, unable to move, only able to bury her face in the dust, letting out faint whimpers.

Daziel stood up, looking down at his "work."

Rappa seemed to feel his gaze, her body trembled slightly, then she squeezed out words through gritted teeth with all her strength:

"You despicable Lewd Government Ninja Operative… Next, are you going to unleash those… those nauseating vile thoughts of yours on me?"

Daziel looked down at her, his handsome face showing none of the vile thoughts she expected, but rather a mix of helplessness and pity.

He gently shook his head.

"I wasn't thinking that."

His voice was calm, as if stating a simple truth,

"If doing that could cure you, I might consider it. Unfortunately, although I can cure most ailments, memetic contamination is something that, unless under special circumstances, cannot be completely eradicated. Even if I did, the memes entrenched in your body would still persist."

His honesty, to Rappa, became the most hypocritical of excuses.

"Hypocritical nonsense!"

She struggled violently, dust rising with her movements again, making her cough twice.

She lifted her face, stained with dirt yet still strikingly beautiful, her humiliated flush not yet faded, but the mad flames in her eyes burned even brighter.

"Government Ninja Operatives like you, I've seen them in doujinshi of 'Galaxy Ninja Scrolls'! First, they use all sorts of despicable methods on female ninjas, doing vile things to them, making them surrender body and soul, unable to resist, only able to obediently cooperate with your every whim!"

Daziel's jaw involuntarily twitched. 'What in the world is she talking about?'

"You mean that… those are 'perverted manga'?"

He asked somewhat uncertainly, "You read those kinds of things?"

"I… I saw them on a pink app on my phone!"

Rappa's voice showed a flicker of barely perceptible panic, but she immediately puffed out her chest, as if to use her demeanor to cover up her guilty conscience.

"Cough cough, but that's not important! Although the content made me terribly embarrassed, the 'Galaxy Ninja Scrolls' is ever-changing, and the Evil-Purging Faction's 'Come on, you villain! Unleash your thirty-plus-centimeter long evil weapon on me!"

Daziel's jaw twitched even harder.

"Thirty-plus centimeters? What in the world is that?"

*Can a normal person even be that size?"

"What utter nonsense, who drew the 'manga' you read, it's so absurd…"

He clutched his forehead, feeling his sanity challenged by her madness, "I'm telling you, I'm here to save you, to figure out how to get rid of the memes in your head. Can't you just be serious and let me finish?"

His voice suddenly rose, carrying an undeniable seriousness.

This reprimand was like a clap of thunder, dispelling the chaotic fog in Rappa's mind.

Her body trembled, the flames in her burning eyes flickered violently, and for a moment, she seemed to regain some clarity.

She stared blankly at Daziel, her voice filled with uncertainty: "Are you really… here to save me?"

Daziel's tone softened. He knelt down, meeting her confused eyes. "If I were truly a minion of Dr. Primitive, the kind of Lewd Government Ninja Operative you imagine, why would I waste so many words on you? Wouldn't it be simpler to just fulfill your 'expectations'?"

His words were like a key, precisely entering the lock of her confused logic.

*That's right, villains never speak much to their prey.*

This was the most basic ninja consensus in the 'Galaxy Ninja Scrolls'.

"Is… is that so?"

Rappa murmured to herself, the madness and resolve on her face receding like a tide, replaced by a huge surprise and bewilderment. "This is truly unexpected…"

Daziel keenly captured the most subtle change in her expression—an unspeakable sense of loss after her fervent expectations were shattered.

"Hey, hey, looking at your expression,"

He raised an eyebrow, a hint of teasing in his tone, "Why do I feel like you're quite disappointed?"

Called out by him, Rappa's face instantly flushed even redder than before, as if it could bleed.

She abruptly twisted her face away, burying it back in the dust, like an ostrich.

Her voice was as faint as a mosquito, filled with endless confusion and shame.

The meme's script was shattered, and the sunlight of reality shone in. For a moment, she didn't know how to compose herself.

Daziel watched her, looking like she wanted to dig a hole and crawl into it, and couldn't help but chuckle. He reached out and gently patted her still slightly trembling back.

"Alright, stop playing ostrich. The ground is cold, do you want to dig yourself into a dirt hole?"

His palm carried a gentle warmth, transmitting through her torn night clothes to her skin.

Rappa's body stiffened for a moment, but she didn't resist fiercely like before. She just buried her face deeper, a choked voice coming from the dust: "I… I have completely lost face, I cannot bear to see anyone."

"Then don't."

Daziel's reply surprised her. "Lift your face when you've thought it through. But I must remind you, the longer these memes stay in your head, the harder they are to remove. You decide."

Having said that, he actually withdrew his hand, sat cross-legged beside her, watching her leisurely, with an "I'll wait right here for you" posture.

Silence spread between the two.

Dust particles danced in the dim light, and Rappa could smell the earthy scent clinging to her hair.

Shame, survival instinct, and desire fiercely battled in her mind. The script named 'Lewd Government Ninja Operative' had been shattered, but the chaotic sensations brought by the memes still lingered like a ghost.

After a long while, she finally made a move.

She slowly, extremely reluctantly, lifted her head, her pretty face now a complete mess, dirt and blushing marks mixed together, looking disheveled and comical.

She didn't dare to look into Daziel's eyes, her gaze vaguely falling on the ground beside him.

"I… I was rude. It's mainly because… there's a reason for all this…"

Rappa's cheeks were alluringly red; she felt her head was about to explode from humiliation and anger.

"What reason?"

Daziel was somewhat curious.

"Mainly because… after I was contaminated, my mind automatically generated a script of suffering that best fit the 'Galaxy Ninja Scrolls' doujinshi. And you… your appearance perfectly matched the image of the 'villain' in the script."

"How did I match?"

Daziel felt a bit wronged.

"You're… very strong, and… and…"

Rappa secretly peeked at him, her voice growing fainter, "And you look like the kind of… handsome villain who would torment female ninjas terribly."

Daziel was utterly speechless upon hearing that.
