Chapter 59 - Chapter 59 – The Storm That Watched

The wind roared.

The trees swayed.

The rain didn't stop.

And Asahi stood there.

Soaked.

Shivering.

Afraid.

Not of the storm.

But of the answer.

"But when I look at FA... even he's suffering," Asahi whispered to himself. *"The theory doesn't make sense anymore."

He lowered his head.

"So now I can't even go there and ask for help... what can I do alone, huh?"

He stepped forward.

His soaked shoes slapped against the pavement.

Each step felt heavier.

Slower.

The empty park echoed only with rain.

No laughter.

No warmth.

Just a boy drenched in silence.

He exited the park.

Passed familiar trees.

Passed benches that held memories.

And then—

He saw it.

That store.

The one where he and Anari went shopping.

He stopped.

He stared.

A sharp, painful laugh escaped his lips.

"Huh... what a joke," he muttered bitterly.

And then she walked out.

Anari.

Alone.

Soaked.

Looking like a ghost.

Her eyes—empty.

Her hands—trembling.

She didn't even hold a bag.

She wasn't shopping.

She was just trying to feel something.

Asahi's chest tightened.

Around her—boys.

Loud. Mocking. Cornering.

Asahi narrowed his eyes.

"I know them..." he murmured. His voice was flat.

*"They used to bully others... now they're forcing her."

And he stood still.

Rain pouring down.

Breath slow.

Eyes dull.

"I can't do anything..." he whispered.

"Not anymore."

He didn't move.

Didn't breathe.

Just watched.

Until—

A figure.

From the far side of the street.

It walked calmly.

Silently.

Right into the group.

Asahi blinked.

"Who...?"

The figure talked to the boys.

Then—

The boys raised their voices.

Shouted.

Cursed.

Then—

One of them was lifted by the throat—

And slammed into a building.

CRACK.

Another scream.

More blood.

Asahi stepped forward.

"What's happening...?"

The figure moved again.

Swift.

Brutal.

Precise.

Bodies hit the ground like bags of meat.

One by one.

Except for one.

Anari.

She stood frozen.

Heart shattered.

Tears blending with the rain.

The figure stepped toward her.

And Asahi ran.

Fast.

Desperate.

He reached her—grabbed her wrist.

She flinched—blinked back into the world.

Eyes wide.

Mouth trembling.

And that figure?

He turned.

A familiar face.

UA.

Unknown Asahi.

The rain drenched them all.

The bodies of the boys lay still behind him.

And UA smiled.

"Kill me, Asahi," he whispered.

"Leave her. Please."

Asahi shook.

"What...?"

Anari reached for his hand.

"Kill me..." she whispered.

"Just kill me... if it'll make it stop."

"WHAT?!" Asahi shouted.

UA laughed.

His eyes, though smiling, shimmered with unspoken pain.

"It's good to see you like this, Asahi..."

"You've suffered more than anyone should."

Asahi clenched his fists.

"Yeah... I know."

"All I know is suffering. Suffering harder than anyone could imagine."

UA smiled.

"FA's choice never fails, huh?"

Then—he moved.

Fast.

A punch aimed straight at Asahi's jaw.

But Asahi saw it.

Calculated.

Breathed.

Bent.

UA mirrored it.

But Asahi kicked.

A clean strike to UA's face.

Anari screamed—

"STOP!"

UA hit the ground, grinning.

Blood in his mouth.

Asahi stepped forward.

Rage in his eyes.

Pain in his breath.

He removed his shirt.

Muscles tightened.

Veins pulsed.

That black, grotesque heart beat beneath his chest.

The dark tattoo ran up his neck like a curse.

His hair was soaked—white and wild.

UA stared.

"Nice. I like it," he said, smiling.

And Asahi, with a cold nod, replied—

"Thanks."
