Laying down in his back, Duke slowly breathed in and out with his eyes completely shut, smoke getting up from his behind while his limbs all twitched due to the overwhelming power that he was hit with.
The cold expression in Elias face made the atmosphere all around him, even though his enemy seemed to have been taken out, cold sweat started beading and sliding from his forehead due to sheer pressure that his bloodlust put in the air.
Mika was clutching her hands together and praying in the bottom of her heart, Elias had been pushed to his limit and won't hear out any voice of reason no matter what she does, and now, she can only pray for mercy in behalf of the souls of these poor bandits.
At a distance, his next target was shouting at the top of her lungs with an overwhelming passion that made his annoyance reach a boiling point.
"Their punishment is due..." With his attention diverted at his next prey, he failed to notice a flying figure aiming her foot right toward his head at an almost impossible speed.
"Incredible...!" Watching from the window of his inn, the old innkeeper forgot to breathe from how heart clenching the match happening right in front of his workplace was.
For each fast-paced combos the new guy did in that punk looking girl, she hit 2 that would leave the little man with a dazed expression of his face, sweat flew out of them and hit the ground almost like rain, the sound of the hits connecting to their frames making thunder like they were a maelstrom of 2 storms that just collided with each other.
In her face, like a mad beast that had just been poked with a stick, she winded her hits at the target right in front of her, and he, like a sudden gust of wind, would blow her away with a series of punches and kicks to keep her off balance.
However, she would stay in place and retaliate with a relentless barrage of kicks one of the other, and with his arms he would parry them right on even though it felt like he was being hit against a solid wall.
"I've already told you! Do not parry it! Evade it! She is way too strong for you to tackle these hits!" Chat hovered above the hero's head, watching carefully each move this first proper enemy would send against the chosen one.
Putting her leg right up in front of her, instinctively the hero put his hand up so he could defend it but the words Chat said made him hesitant to continue with it, he felt his fist unclench and his leg get wobbly due to his doubt before something very unexpected happened.
Ju hit her leg in the ground and reached for the hero's neck and with an iron grip started choking him while looking him right in the eyes, her expression very serious and grim as she looked at him gasp for air.
"... heh, pathetic man are kinda cute~" lifting her free hand slowly, she gripped his neck with even more force, gasps and whines escaping his drooling mouth as he tried to take her fingers away from his neck, but they felt more like dense and very heavy locks than normal human hands than his.
Slap! Slap! Slap! Slap! She kept hitting him in the face until his cheeks were red, each hit making his conscience slip back as she squeezed him more loosely and then tight, it felt just like when he was hit by a stray thunder when he was younger.
"Enjoying this? You might be kinda annoying, but your face isn't half bad even after taking a beating. Too bad i take personality over your stupid looks!" The veins of her arms popped and her msucles buldged as she clenched her first winding it up backwards, Chat could only imagine the hero's face after receiving such punch, would his mom still love him after the long recovery and loss of teeth?
But Ju couldn't bring herself to hit his face. She trembled and lost the strength in her grip, succumbing to her knees as her hands lost all strength she had mustered in them, her screams echoing at the still very deserted streets of this dingy remote village.
"NO! STOP! THAT'S CHEATING! NOOOOO!" Her face contorted and the sweat rolled out of her as the hero pushed her to the ground, a smirk in his puffed out cheeks that hurt him a lot, and she kicked up trying to push him away, but he only pressed harder at her before she could make him fly away.
"... you are unbelievable." Chat wished it had a nasal system so it could have a long-winded sigh to relieve itself of the burden of watching 2 people who were at each other throats now playing tickle like 2 children.
They thought their work would be a lot more glorious than this.
But alas, not every job can be as glorious as you thought it would be the first time you entered it.
"I GIVE UP! STOOOOOPPPP! NOOOOOOOO!" She couldn't take it anymore, her face felt hot and she was gasping for air even more than the hero was before, his smirk was long gone and he watched Ju roll her eyes back as she pushed his face away from her, the smell of sweat entering his nose as he felt the heat of the sun sizzle his skin.
