Madam Allegra's feelings towards Mia were quite complicated. She despised the woman with whom her son was simply smitten to the point where he didn't even listen to her commands. But at the same time, she had nothing to complain about Mia, for the woman was excellent in everything that she did.
Mia knew that she was going to be in trouble now that she had crossed paths with Madam Allegra. However, she still lowered her head and replied, "I need to discuss something with Uncle Ben."
"About what?" the woman asked with her brows knitted.
"Something private." Mia was polite even though Madam Allegra didn't even give her a good look.
A chuckle escaped Madam Allegra's lips. She then responded, "Mia, it seems like you are having a hard time accepting your identity. You are no longer the daughter-in-law of the Holman family. I don't believe that it is right for you to come and go out of our house as you please. What do you say?"
