Chapter 31 - The Hunter

"That can I do now? There is possible way I have some combat, his mana is indistinguishable from the environment. I don't where he is attacking from or what he is using to attack. He is far enough to have no presence. I don't think if I use mirror's front, it will reach the required distance." There were less to no options on the table.

"If they are experience they must have noticed my body stiffening. But if they haven't attacked I might have a chance of negotiation.... come on Deus Ex Machina just help me one more time, just one more." His hands pleaded at the sky once again.

".... tip tip tip..." The rain drops kept striking against his face, but Silver received no aid. "Maybe this skill once per a crisis or something. Sigh....."

He kept his vision fixed at the pool and raised his hands in the air, and turned around to face the forest. In the ever increasing darkness as the day closed to it's ending, the blood river, the barely standing trees and the uprooted ones.
