Chapter 7 - Chaoter 7: Delivery space door, Trial run Succesful (Bonus chapter)

"So-called fully automatic high-frequency dispensing is essentially a short-circuited redstone circuit. Repeaters with settings act as capacitors, storing electrical signals that activate the circuit after the main signal extinguishes, then storing again—cycling continuously.

At one end, a funnel collects raw materials. At the other, a dispenser delivers them.

Only in the Minecraft world could this work, completely ignoring energy loss.

Arriving at the fully automated farm warehouse, Su Bai didn't dismantle the disposal mechanism but built this high-frequency dispensing device to the side.

In less than half an hour, the scene had transformed dramatically. Seventeen high-frequency dispensers stood in a row, creating a uniquely aesthetic sight.

Though he wanted to build more to increase delivery efficiency, what limited Su Bai wasn't materials or time but the water flow mechanics. Both sides had reached the maximum spread of eight blocks—any longer would make collection inefficient.

Right in the middle was a water stream flowing from the machine to the storage point.

After some minor decorative touches at the end, including an obsidian portal, the structure was complete.

As Su Bai pulled the lever to activate the circuit, a series of clicking sounds filled the air. The funnel diligently intercepted items from the farm's storage chests and channeled them into the dispensers. Driven by the high-frequency redstone, the dispensers worked vigorously.

Wheat items were dispensed into the water stream, gathered from both sides toward the center, fell into the central trench, and flowed toward the end of the device, finally settling steadily on the block at the water's terminus.

"Done! Mark the coordinates." Su Bai clapped his hands and recorded the coordinates where the wheat, in its "item drop" state, gathered—right at the portal he'd built.

Now, all he needed to do was open a portal at this location, and the accumulated materials would be directly transported to Teyvat. Su Bai also calculated the device's average speed: about 65,000 kilograms per hour.

This was a clever point. Su Bai had experimented extensively. In the Minecraft world, while 1 tick was roughly 9 seconds—a theory applicable to potions, enchantments, brewing, farming, etc.—it didn't apply to redstone circuits.

In redstone circuits, 1 tick was 1/9 of a second. Normal redstone circuits didn't take 9 seconds to react. Thus, the efficiency of many machines was significantly higher than Su Bai had initially estimated.

This very reason allowed Su Bai to develop rapidly in the Minecraft world with half the effort early on. He'd hardly ever struggled for resources.

Returning to Teyvat, Su Bai didn't linger and headed straight for the port.

He now had two trade contracts on hand, both due in three days. But it was better to be early than late. A total of 125,000 kilograms of goods would take only three hours to prepare for delivery.

As evening approached, the streets of Weiyunpo were still bustling. Though this was the affluent district, it was also the gateway to Ruiyuelin, far from quiet.

Arriving at the Ruiyue North Dock—the port near Liyue Harbor's main gate and the Feiyun Slope Ministry of Affairs—Su Bai walked straight to the innermost area, soon reaching a relatively secluded warehouse entrance.

"Boss Su!" He'd barely stopped when someone called out. Su Bai turned and recognized the man.

"Jingda, why are you still working at this hour?"

This man had taken the shipping commission earlier that day. Su Bai and Mr. Zatt's deal relied on them for搬运 (handling) to conceal its true nature.

"Well, taking advantage of the cooler weather to work a bit more. I'll finish by noon tomorrow," Jingda replied with an embarrassed smile.

"Alright, carry on. I'm just looking around." Su Bai didn't disturb him further and headed to another warehouse.

The iron door opened to an empty space, not even a rat in sight.

With the others working nearby serving as a cover, Su Bai closed the iron door and directly opened the portal.

A spatial ripple followed, and a massive amount of wheat came pouring out. Su Bai adjusted the portal's position, and soon the wheat formed a small mountain.

This was for Young Master Hui's order. The accumulation behind the portal wasn't quite enough yet, so Su Bai manually moved more himself until he reached 100,000 kilograms.

The volume was about thirteen or fourteen cubic meters, not even half the warehouse. Not too much.

Since the portal side hadn't accumulated enough yet, Su Bai left first, found a roadside stall to eat and drink, waiting for time to pass.

"Old Fan, this isn't good." Meanwhile, at Heyu Teahouse, the four of them gathered as usual. A'Wei's expression was grim.

"Young Master Hui's 100,000 and my 150,000—he wasn't even drained."

"I know." Old Fan's face darkened upon hearing this. Though they'd previously said to treat it as stockpiling, even stockpiling had its limits.

250,000 kilograms. This was the yield of over a thousand youdi [calculated at 200 kg per *youdi* in the 1960s]. After deducting consumption and losses for people and livestock, in Liyue Harbor, Old Fan could only think of one person with such capability.

Seeing Old Fan's gaze turn upward, the others were momentarily stunned.

"Her?"

"Tianquan?"

"Such a big deal?It can't be, right?" Young Master Hui frowned deeply, searching his thoughts but finding no reason for Ningguang to make such a move.

Liyue had three major grain-producing areas: Mt. Tianheng, Guili Plains, and Qingce Village.

The Guili Plains were vast. Though the population was smaller than before, its annual grain output remained formidable. This was Old Fan's territory.

Due to the large area, Old Qi also had a share, roughly where the Guili Plains bordered Mt. Tianheng. But his main business was on the sea.

The north and south of Mt. Tianheng were controlled by A'Wei and Young Master Yang, respectively. These four almost controlled Liyue's entire grain production lifeline.

Except for Qingce Village, the direct territory of Tianquan Ningguang. Even with significant population outflow in recent years and many young laborers leaving, its grain output still steadily surpassed any two of their factions combined.

"Haha, what are you all talking about?" Old Fan played dumb, smiling as he offered tea. Seeing no one respond, he picked up his cup and took a sip.

"Sigh, I think… it probably isn't her." After a long, awkward silence, Old Fan reluctantly voiced his opinion.

"Think about it—if she made a move, would there still be room for us? Besides, all these years as one of the Qixing, with that status, she simply can't directly confront us."

"Don't scare yourselves before even seeing the opponent. Remember, who is this plan for? Have we done anything wrong by Liyue? The Rock Emperor will judge fairly."

After this mix of scolding and comfort, Old Fan put down his tea bowl and observed everyone's expressions, nodding with satisfaction.

"I had someone investigate secretly. Su Bai's origins are unclear, his background is unknown, even the source of his grain is untraceable. He's either a stowaway or a master in the trade."

"But seeing the general store he runs… it is puzzling."

"For now, wait until the day after tomorrow for delivery. Old Qi and I will simultaneously place large orders, taking 500,000 kilograms. Then, reasonably delay the payment slightly to cut off his funding."

"Let's see how he handles it."

"Agreed!"

"Agreed!"

"Agreed!"
