"You come far." he said like I was a mosquito flying around something divine.
I laughed.
"Who the fuck you think you are? Looking down on me like I ain't the guy who used your face to mop a bathroom stall? Forgot how many times I beat your ass so hard your fingers stopped twitching?"
He did not flinch. Same dead stare. Like the idea of getting clowned by me had been overwritten by his new firmware. No response. No snarl. Not even that rabid-dog stutter he used to get when I made fun of his jizz-smeared finger fetish.
He looked at me like a billboard ad for apathy. Not even pissed. Just... indifferent. Like my mouth was background noise and he was already bored of the radio. Cool. I wasn't here to entertain the discount corpse king.
He pulled up a device from destruction, "Machia, kill them all."
---
Izuku and Mirio stared up, jaws half-open as the damn giant left the ground like physics just gave up. Watching Gigantomachia jump was like seeing a planet glitch out.
Gran Torino yanked both collars. "Move, idiots. That thing lands and you are mulch."
The three of them stumbled back. The ground beneath them shivered like it was afraid. Kaminari tripped on his own foot. Midnight dragged him up without a word.
Todoroki was cackling madly, arms flailing like he had lost control of his own limbs. Anyone who knew him would've frozen right there, because Shoto Todoroki did not laugh, let alone run like a drunk gremlin through a battlefield. Kaminari actually yelped.
"What the hell-?"
"That is not him," Midnight said flat.
They didn't have time to process.
Machia landed. The whole left wing cratered like wet drywall. Screams shot up from both friend and foe. Cementoss tried to reinforce the floor, didn't help. He got flung back by the shockwave. Kamui barely pulled him out.
"Don't give it room!" Jeanist snapped. "Pile on!"
Mt. Lady ran in, stomped down, Machia backhanded her into a wall. Didn't even stop. Just kept walking through the wreckage like the fight hadn't started yet.
Gang Orca shot forward, bellowed hard enough to rattle steel. The beast slowed. Orca's second slam knocked a few teeth loose from some poor bastard behind them, but Gigantomachia kept pushing, dragging debris with him like he wanted a nest.
Suneater came from above, tentacles flaring, tried to blind him. Machia swung upward. Suneater veered out of range but hit a beam midair and crashed.
"Stop him!" someone yelled.
"Too late!" came from below.
Shemage's spores burst out from a crack in the floor. Made the air thicker. Still didn't slow the bastard. His skin was already peeled raw in places, bones showing, but he just roared louder. Spit flew. Shards of stone shot outward like shrapnel. One hit Fat Gum in the side. He grunted, but tanked.
Izuku launched.
Blackwhip cracked off the edge of a support beam. He swung hard, feet slamming into Machia's chest. The hit barely made the bastard blink, but it gave Jeanist enough time to thread a full wrap around one arm.
"Pull!"
Kamui and Fourth Kind joined in, roots and rope tangling like a net. The arm slowed, then twitched, and all of them were flung off like garbage. Jeanist crashed through the wall. Kamui hit the fountain.
"Shock him!" someone called.
Denki blinked. "What, now?!"
Mirio nodded. "Go!"
He fired a surge straight up the leg. Machia twitched. Just a bit. But it was enough. Mt. Lady grabbed the moment, leapt from the rubble and slammed a punch into his jaw.
Didn't knock him down.
But it made him stop walking.
Cementoss shouted. "Ground! Now!"
The floor warped. Mudman tilted the terrain beneath him. Machia slipped, just for a second. Todoroki skated in with a fire blast that caught his eyes.
But nothing seemed to work.
Machia kicked through another concrete barricade like it was sand. His steps got heavier. Faster.
"He is heading to the hospital. Stop him!" Midnight's voice cracked through the comms.
"Creati, put him to sleep!"
Momo didn't respond. She was already assembling something the size of a missile launcher with no time to spare.
Cementoss slammed the ground again, reshaping the path ahead. Useless. The bastard kept moving like the road belonged to him.
Kaminari sparked beside Izuku. "Deku-"
"Keep up!" Izuku didn't look. Blackwhip lashed, launched him forward. He spun midair, tried to slam into the beast's back. Barely slowed it.
Then from the smoke behind, glass shattered.
Dabi landed like he dropped off a rooftop. Spinner vaulted in right after, dragging a rust-covered blade across the tiles. Geten rode a current of snow. Mr. Compress sauntered in last, already juggling marbles. "Oh good," he said, like they had a dinner reservation. "We didn't miss it."
"Get behind!" Edgeshot barked. He darted forward, but Geten's wave crashed into the path. Freezing. Slowing them down. Cementoss tried to counter, but ice bit into the concrete before he could reset the structure.
"Split the fight," Jeanist ordered. "Take the rear, protect the wounded!"
Dark Shadow roared from above.
Tokoyami hit the ground first, shoulder smashed into the dirt, cape half gone. Hawks dropped seconds later, bleeding from the wing stub, groaning. Tokoyami crawled to cover.
Dabi looked between them, fire twitching up his wrist.
"What the hell did you do to Twice and Toga?" he asked.
His eyes locked on Todoroki, wild grin smeared with someone else's blood. His fire flickered in anger.
Midnight launched her gas downwind. Geten countered with a cold draft. The chemicals froze mid-cloud. Shards fell like toxic snow.
"Move!" Gang Orca bellowed.
Suneater sprang past him, wings out. Tentacles lashed. He caught Spinner by the throat, but Dabi's flame curled behind him and forced a retreat. Suneater dropped low, trying to suffocate the fire. Too late, his coat caught.
Mirio launched through a broken beam and crashed into Compress mid-spin. Marbles scattered. One of them exploded into a smoke-bomb. He vanished into it.
Back near the villa edge, Izuku twisted in midair, yanked himself off a concrete spire. Blackwhip lashed, caught Machia's leg.
"NOW!"
Kaminari sent another charge through the line. The beast stuttered. Just enough.
Tsukuyomi darted past, dragging Hawks by the shoulder.
"Pull back, he is not slowing!"
Machia roared. The ground shifted again. Mt. Lady lunged in front of the villa, tried to pin his head down with both arms. Machia grabbed her by the torso and hurled her backward. She crashed into the cliffside like a tossed crate.
Momo called, "I need a minute!"
No one answered. Not because they did not hear her, but because there was no time left.
Flames guttered back to life around Dabi as he cut across the chaos. Jiro didn't flinch. She stepped in front with Toru, Mina, Kirishima, Ojiro, and Sato without waiting. Momo stayed behind, tools half-formed, grip tight around the frame of a launcher that wasn't ready.
"Fan out," Kirishima barked. "Buy her time!"
No formation. Just instinct.
A wave of ice shot across the ground.
Midnight hit ground hard, back arching as her body bounced once on the ruined tile before rolling under what used to be a dinner table. She tried to stand, but a frozen blast clipped her hip. She dropped back, biting her lip to stay silent.
Geten strolled. Hands loose, eyes locked, his breath misting like he lived in winter. She rolled behind a broken couch, blood trickling from her nose. Her comm sputtered static. No one was answering.
Far to the right, a metal scream tore through the hall. One of Cementoss's walls gave out. Snipe's shots echoed, then stopped. Someone crashed through a billiard table and didn't get up.
The place was splintering.
Mineta was half-buried under support rubble, barely conscious. Tokoyami's cape was shredded, Dark Shadow flickering weak. Ms. Joke was kneeling with one leg bent wrong, pressing gauze to Shishido's ribs. The rest of the team scattered, trees cutting off vision.
Every opening carried a different fight. None of them were clean.
Above it all, Gigantomachia shoved through the forest. Dull thuds shook the ground. Screams from both floors rose, then cut. His foot crashed through a dense patch of trees.
Momo stared as the blaze rushed toward her. No time to scream, no time to think. It was too fast. Her hands froze around the half-finished launcher. Toru lunged, arm out like she could block a goddamn inferno with her bare skin.
Then the fire… stopped.
Swatted aside like it was smoke.
A green-haired bastard stood in front of them, shirt half-burned, bat slung over one shoulder like he just wandered in from a demolition site.
Everyone stared. Mouths half-open. Brains not catching up.
"Ryuu-" Momo managed.
Before she finished, ten more versions of him walked out of the woods. All stomping in like they owned the battlefield. Same boots, same hair, same bat, different scowls. A fucking gang of problems.
"Waterworks," one of them barked, hauling Izuku up by the collar. "The fuck did I tell you?"
Izuku blinked like a kicked dog. "Ryuu-"
"Stop crying. This is copy. Real me is ass-probing Shigaraki. Now get the fuck up and fight." His eyes swept the group, already walking off. "Let's neuter that skyscraper-sized war crime before he humps the hospital into dust."
Another Ryuu caught Geten with a swing to the ribs, sent him flipping through two trees and into the third with a crunch that shut him up. Snow scattered. Copy-Ryuu stepped past him and knelt by Midnight.
"You fine, girl?"
Midnight coughed, laughing. "My savior. About time."
Another one tapped Toru on the forehead. "You were about to jump in front of fire? You damn idiot."
She blinked. "I- I didn't-"
"Yeah, shut up." His bat was already on his shoulder.
One pulled Mina by the elbow, dragged her out of the way of a falling branch. Another grabbed Jiro before she could sprint forward.
Dabi was already glaring, hand twitching. "That is Twice's quirk."
Ryuu grinned. "Yeah. He and Toga switched sides. They are mine now. Wanna join?"
"No way in hell."
"Well, hell is waiting anyway. Let me help you get there."
A copy swung before Dabi could respond, flames intercepted it mid-air, but the clone didn't flinch. Another bat came in from behind. Dabi ducked, rolled, flames flared. The clone melted but took the heat with him.
Ryuu's real body wasn't here. But his chaos was.
Machia's bellow swung toward the treeline, trees quivering under the sound. One Ryuu raised his bat high.
"DEKU! FRONT!"
Izuku didn't answer. He was already charging.
The real bastard threw himself forward, legs crashing into Machia's shoulder like a damn wrecking ball. Blackwhip coiled and yanked, shifting Machia's balance just enough. One foot faltered. Ryuu clones moved in as a wave, bats slamming knees, ribs, ankles. Nothing stopped him, but it made him stagger.
"CREATI!"
"Thirty seconds!" she snapped, fingers working across the hardware.
"Cover her!" a clone shouted.
Toga rushed past, trailing ice down one side, blasting fire toward the other. Her aim was wild, but it forced Machia to step back. One Ryuu used it. Bat spun, slammed right into the arch of the giant's foot.
Machia looked down like he felt it. Just a twitch. The copy vanished under his heel the next second.
Deku landed again, another blackwhip wrap. He anchored into a boulder, pulling with everything he had. Machia didn't fall, but he slowed.
"Hit him again!"
Kaminari fired again. The jolt slammed into exposed muscle. Gigantomachia jerked.
Jiro sprinted in, planted her jacks into a tree stump, let the bass scream forward. Vibrations shot through the ground. Machia's footing wobbled.
Then came Spinner, slashing, yelling. One Ryuu caught his sword mid-swing, twisted, and headbutted him. Spinner fell sideways into a bush. Compress tried another throw, missed.
Mina sent acid flying. A clone kicked the enemy forward into the puddle.
Geten reappeared. This time swinging ice like a scythe. A copy got sliced in half and melted away. Two more stepped in.
"No more party tricks," one muttered, bringing the bat down. Ice blocked it. The other Ryuu came over the top and broke it on Geten's head. He hit dirt, out.
Machia's elbow swung. One clone got nailed mid-step, bat flying.
Blackwhip caught it.
Deku spun it, didn't question it, slammed it down onto Machia's thigh.
One Ryuu barked a laugh. "Good taste."
Another Ryuu shouted over the roar, laughing. "This is it! Keep cracking him, he is feeling it!"
He tossed a spare bat toward a clone. "Break something that matters!"
