Chapter 379 - 1 I

Amidst the gray mist, behind a massive gate with several open cocoons, lay a sleeping deity holding a silver mirror. His body was surrounded by tentacles that emerged from him, and his face was covered by a black hood with a yellow lining.

"Was it really worth it?" he thought as he lived from dream to dream, trapped, facing the Worthy Celestial every time, always leading him to a draw, a probable defeat, and perhaps a hopeful victory.

His feelings and memories led him to think about that world that once existed countless ages ago. " What would have happened if I had never transmigrated ?" It was a foolish thought, but the Fool didn't mind imagining his life being peaceful with those he once called family.

The grey mist reacted to these thoughts, slowly increasing its density around 'His' Master. Suddenly, the Fool thought, "I wish to return... ", causing a great tremor to swirl around Sephirah's castle. It was a tremor unlike any other, as if connecting to something of equal power.

The mist of Sephirah's Castle now has a wall.

[Welcome to Planetary System 8612, constellation The Fool.]

Inside an apartment room, an alarm was heard ringing on a small table, causing a young worker's hand to instinctively turn it off. When his eyes opened, he found himself in a room with a wardrobe near the door and a backpack thrown onto a round green carpet.

' Where am I?... Could it be... Am I trapped in another dream created by 'Him'?'

Slowly rising from the bed, memories that weren't his own gradually surfaced in his mind, giving him information about a life he never had. His slow steps led him to a full-length mirror, where he realized he looked like a young, working man of 25, with short black hair and eyes of the same color. His skin was fair and his chin was thin, bringing to mind the appearance he most often used when he drank the No-Face's potion.

' The appearance of Zhou Mingrui. No, the appearance of Gehrman Sparrow...'

'Those memories... Well, it seems I have a peaceful life.'

When his mind finally calmed down, Klein sat on his bed and began to reflect on what he knew at that moment from those memories.

"From what it seems, I live in an apartment in Seoul. When I got a scholarship in the US, I moved to Korea in search of a more stable life. I also work as a graphic designer for games. And from what it seems, I'm still a keyboard warrior."

"I don't see anything different from Klein Moretti's life in this world that I should worry about. 'Sigh' It's just an ordinary world, like any other, it seems."

Klein sighed, mentally belittling himself as he always did, using the excuse that it was a way to maintain his humanity. When he looked away for a moment, he saw the backpack on the ground, went over to it, and opened it. What was inside the backpack surprised him most. Inside the backpack was a thin glove made of black human skin, as well as an armpit holster with a black iron revolver that seemed a little longer than a regular revolver.

"Creeping Hunger and a Death Sentence? What are they doing inside the backpack?"

And it didn't seem like that was all he had in the backpack; there was also a suit he usually wears, but with some updates to match the time period of that world.

Klein couldn't understand why his things, which would be useless to this world, were here with him now.

' But who am I to deny 'His' "gift"? '

3 PM on Monday, above the gray haze.

The tarot club was gathered again to exchange updates on the events they had witnessed while seeking more information on how to awaken the Fool and his blessed one.

Madame Justice bows before greeting the seat where The Fool used to sit before his sleep. She always did this, so as not to break the habit, then always greeting the members of the tarot club and ending at The World's seat.

'I hope you're well, Mr. World .'

Her eyes usually showed longing for that friend she had lost long ago. Audrey Hall knew she wasn't the only one who looked at that seat with that look. The other members were looking at the World's seat at the same time, only looking away when Madame Magic began to speak.

"I recently met that new blessed one that the Madman told us about in his brief moment of rationality. Apparently, he's not old enough yet to help us with 'His' awakening."

'So it seems Klein's awakening won't happen anytime soon,' thought Mr. Star. 'How old is the boy now?'

"He's around 14 years old. He recently met a girl who adopted him as her brother."

"Are they loyal to any church?" ' If not, I can make them loyal to the Mad Lord' — Little Sun thought about the future of the Mad Lord's Church. It would be easier for him to observe someone from the church, in case they were of great help in the future.

"Hmm... No. His sister is a believer in the Church of the Eternal Burning Sun."

The sun was disappointed, casting an awkward silence over the room. After the brief moment of silence, Justice couldn't help but think:

' Indeed, compared to Lord World, nobody manages to have much relevant information beyond the missions.'

The Hanged Man broke the silence, turning to the small Sun with his usual serious expression. "How's the financial development of the New Silver City going?"

"How good of you to ask, Mr. Hanged Man!" said the young Sun with a gleam in his eyes. " Mr. Hanged Man truly cares about the Silver City. It's good to have him as a deacon partner in the Church of the Fool." "Finally, we are beginning to export items manufactured by the Silver City, mostly sweets and treats. And of course, Mr. Fool's faith is spreading beyond its borders."

"It's good to know that everything is going as planned. Good job, Mr. Sun." Audrey Hall said sweetly to the Sun.

"Aha. I should also say that thanks to my great ability as a sanguine spirit, I managed to increase the production of the Madman's medicines, which are selling absolutely well." The Moon couldn't help but boast about how he was handling the mission given to him by the Madman. 'After all, this is something simple for a messiah like me!'

"Remember that overproduction of medicines should not lead to increased sales. This can cause a collapse in trade." It was Estrela who warned Lua about sales. Even without experience in sales, he knew how factories worked and how it was undeniable that increased production could harm the workers. And, in more serious cases, it could cause a stockpile of products and low sales. Like a Red Glove and Night Hawk, he had witnessed this several times in his life.

"It's not as if I didn't know, Lord Star. After all, I am a great Blood Lord." The Moon felt offended by the Star's words, as if he were underestimating the Moon's knowledge. "But since you insist, I will take note of your concern."

' I'm pretty sure you weren't even paying attention to this part until I told you.' Leonard Mitchell began mentally satirizing Mr. Moon's actions, before sighing slightly, trying not to move his head.

'Indeed, Mr. Star is determined to make sure everything goes well with everyone's mission. He even reminds me of a police character from stories who is very serious and experienced .' Fors Wall couldn't help but imagine a story with Mr. Star as the police protagonist.

' Fors must be imagining the next chapter of her story with Mr. Star, right?' Xio Derecha knew her friend better than anyone in the tarot club, so she could easily understand what she was thinking just by looking at her.

Admiral of the Stars, Hermit Cattleya, continued her monthly observation of the members while also paying attention to their mannerisms. As it seemed no one else had anything to say, she spoke in a firm, calm voice while adjusting her glasses. "Unfortunately, I have no update since our last meeting."

' Madame Hermit seems determined to fulfill the mission given by the Madman. Well, she's not the only one, everyone is trying their best.' Madame Justice barely suppressed a sigh as she maintained her serene calm. She sensed that the tarot club might awaken the Madman very soon.

Before they could say anything more, the grey mist began to move as if warning the others of the danger. The world seemed to be constantly crumbling and being rebuilt, showing an abysmal adaptation. It also seemed that Sephirah's castle was being pulled into another space. The constant trembling was frightening Magic and the Sun in particular; the others were also frightened, for it meant only one thing.

' Is Mr. Madman losing control?! ' Everyone thought the same thing. That was the best logical explanation at the moment.

' It can't be! This can't be true! Everything is just as 'He' told us.' Mr. Sun didn't want to accept that 'He' was losing control; he couldn't believe that the Silver City would lose its God again.

' Mr. World, do something to help Mr. Madman !' She didn't know if it was instinct, but Madame Magic couldn't stop thinking about Mr. World at that moment. She believed that since he was asleep along with Madman, he could resolve 'His' loss of control. Until she remembered the recent revelation that she and the other members had discovered.

There's no way Mr. World can help the Fool, since he is the Fool.

Initially, they couldn't believe that the mad adventurer, Gerhman Sparrow, was the benevolent and gentle deity, The Fool. The tarot club went into a state of denial for weeks, even considering leaving the Organization. However, this idea never went forward after they analyzed the reasons why the Fool lied about who 'He' really was; it was initially for his protection. Later they realized that he was purposefully giving hints in his brief moments of consciousness to everyone, because 'He' trusted his closest followers. 'He' also showed that he was more than just a simple God. 'He' was, is, the God who loved this world.

After a long 5 minutes, the tremors ceased, causing everyone to look around in astonishment.

"Is everyone alright?" It was Madame Judgment who spoke up, her hand on her head, bewildered.

"Yes, I'm fine." The first to answer was Justice, observing the others, searching for someone, unsteady on her feet because of the grey snow. " Apparently no one is hurt. I also don't see any abnormalities in their mental state. " Looking around, everything seemed normal. Justice and the others breathed a sigh of relief as they looked out beyond the thick fog.

"Is Mr. Madman alright?" Justice couldn't help but murmur softly, showing the concern of a psychiatrist for her patient, of a believer for her God, of a friend for her friend.

"He must be alright, otherwise everyone would be dead right now." It was the Hanged Man who answered Madame Justice. " Should we check what happened to the Madman? Perhaps the situation in the dream against the Worthy Celestial is so alarming that we need to use the grey mist so that 'He' can regain control? " The Hanged Man then reprimanded himself for thinking about "His" problems.

When Madame Hermit found her glasses, which had fallen to the ground, and put them on, she couldn't help but notice a completely strange wall in the middle of the fog. Madame Hermit rose from the ground and walked towards the strange wall, noticing its unusual lines.

"Do you know what this wall means?" The Hermit shouted to get the attention of the other Arcane members, causing them to gather around to look at the wall. The wall made all the members start to get slightly agitated.

"Perhaps this is 'His' work? The Madman's?" The Hanged Man was the first to speak aloud, immediately noticing the expressions of Judgment, Star, Magic, and Justice, which matched the Hanged Man's expression of concern.

"Mr. Madman is in danger, and as a way of asking for help for 'His' anchors, 'He' manifested what looks like something!" The Sun, already some distance away, explained, in words of determination to help "Him". "We have to do something to help Mr. Madman! It is that wall that must contain his plea for help!"But how are we going to find that out? It's just a pile of bluish bricks, if you haven't noticed, Mr. Sun." Mr. Moon arrogantly replied, which made the little Sun squeal slightly.

"Perhaps we have to go to her and touch her," Judgment said, and after reflecting, "After all, that's the only clue we have. My spirituality didn't warn me of anything, and I don't see any sign of danger."

In response to Madame Judgment, Justice and Star were the first two to move closer to the wall, while still maintaining a considerable distance from it. Living through so many challenges in that bizarre and crazy world as Beyonders had given the Arcane the necessary experience to remain cautious around this new wall, which didn't seem like it would drive them to the brink of madness. As if expecting them to get close, the bluish wall began to glow and tremble intensely, producing a huge buzzing sound that proved distressing to everyone present. Just as quickly as that sharp pain appeared, it disappeared so fast that the silence that followed went unnoticed.

Then, in front of them, a very strange, technological blue box appeared. Golden words were translated from an unknown, yet strangely familiar language.

' It looks like the writing in Emperor Roselle's diary, only less complex .' Hermit was the one who noticed the difference in those letters, before they changed to Loen's script.

[The welcomes the 'Arcanes' to planetary system 8612]

' What a strange box this is! Is it some kind of sealed artifact ?' The hanged man was impressed by the artifact's capabilities, which transmitted words in his native tongue, while the Tarot club was in shock.

[The welcomes the new nebula ]

Upon noticing the change in wording coming from the Box, everyone was surprised that it knew about the Tarot club. Before they could even question how that blue Box knew that information, silver text appeared on the box displaying different words.

[Due to the nebula being otherworldly, it will be mandatory for two members to descend to participate in the scenarios.]

[The is choosing its constellation name.]

' Constellation?! Star Stream?! Another World?! Scenarios?! ' Many questions arose in the minds of all the members. Everyone was creating their own theories...
