Chapter 93 - Chapter 94- Damn it

Regina remained unconscious, her hand clutching Waldo's shirt so tightly that it seemed like she couldn't let go, her body trembling violently, already cold to the touch. 

Waldo lowered his gaze, his expression dark and brooding as he watched his mate in his arms. A strange urge to strangle her flared within him, the intensity of the emotions roiling in his chest like a storm.

The suffocating atmosphere stretched in the confined space of the car, heavy and unyielding. Greg glanced up at the rearview mirror, his brows knitting in confusion. He had no idea whether Waldo's behavior was a sign of something good or something bad. 

He could barely understand the man who had been with him for years. He had always been deeply in love with Cecilia, despite his occasional passing affairs. But never before had any mate stirred Waldo this much—no one had ever made him so possessive, or forced him to do things he would never have considered.
