Chapter 114 - Chapter 114: Training

In the empty classroom, a horse-shaped creature was being bombarded with Spells by an old man with white hair and beard, rolling back and forth on the ground.

After a period of furious Spells-bombing, Headmaster Dumbledore stopped casting Spells and looked at the Nightmare, which was in a complete mess after being blasted.

A look of surprise flashed across his eyes, and he thought to himself through a secret passage:

"Such magical defenses are definitely no less than those of a dragon. However... it was all thanks to those wings that the attacks were blocked."

Light, dazed by the blasts, shook his head, shook his body, and slowly stood up.

And the black mist wings that had been on the defensive and were almost blown to pieces were gradually repairing themselves.

Looking up at Headmaster Dumbledore in the distance, Light knew that another wave of Spells attacks was coming.

Sure enough, dozens of Spells came in an orderly arrangement, blocking all of Light's escape routes.

With no protection from his wings, Light could only take this wave of attacks head-on with his original form.

In an instant, countless explosions rang out. After the smoke cleared, Light was covered in wounds, and many of the wounds were still bleeding. Even his two hooves had been blown off.

"Do you want to continue?" Headmaster Dumbledore's voice came, sounding a bit cold.

Staggering to his feet from the ground, Light let out a Pained neigh.

After the sound faded, Light's body twisted without the black mist wrapping it and transformed back into a human form.

Then, his face pale, Light took out a spatial item from his bosom with his unbroken left hand.

After taking out several bottles of potion, he gulped them all down at once.

Soon, Light's face began to turn rosy. At the same time, his broken hands and feet made a squeaky sound and pieced themselves back together.

Seeing this, Headmaster Dumbledore raised his eyebrows and looked at Light's actions in surprise. He didn't expect the potions to take effect so quickly.

After a short while, Light bounced around on the spot. Feeling fully recovered, he transformed back into a Nightmare and looked at Headmaster Dumbledore with his pure black eyes.

Headmaster Dumbledore just nodded slightly, and a thought appeared in Light's mind: 'Next, let's test your reaction speed and movement speed.'

After receiving the message, Light started to move rapidly, constantly dodging wave after wave of Spells attacks.

At first, even though he could sense the Spells-casting instructions, Light still couldn't keep up with the Spells that were fired at him.

Later, he simply gave up reading the instructions and relied only on his instinctive reactions to dodge the attacks.

As the Spells relentlessly pursued him, Light kept moving at high speed in the empty classroom, and his actions became more and more proficient and elusive.

Light's hoof marks were almost everywhere in the classroom, including the ceiling, walls, and windows.

Later, almost no Spells could hit Light as he moved.

Seeing this situation, Dumbledore thought it was time for a major attack, so he sent a message to Light in his mind.

"Be careful. The next attacks will be very intense." Light received the message sent by Headmaster Dumbledore. At first, he didn't pay much attention.

As a result, the Spells rained down like a barrage of bullets. Light widened his eyes, gritted his teeth, concentrated all his attention, and rushed towards the incoming Spells.

In the classroom, a rather ghostly figure kept moving through the gaps of the Spells barrage.

Even though he was hit several times, it didn't reduce his speed. Instead, he became even faster.

The barrage attack didn't last long and then stopped. Light, who had been highly concentrated on dodging the Spells, didn't react at first.

Light stumbled on his hoof and almost fell to the ground. Fortunately, he managed to steady himself at the last moment.

Then, Headmaster Dumbledore's loud voice rang out:

"Okay, you can completely control this body now. Moreover, this is your limit."

After that, he paused and continued, "Come here again tonight to test your abilities. And also, help me restore this classroom."

After saying that, without waiting for Light to react, he left the classroom, enveloped in flames.

Seeing Headmaster Dumbledore suddenly vanish, Light heaved a sigh of relief and moved his body a few times.

He found that his movements were no longer as rigid as before and, just like in his human form, he could react as he wished.

Looking at his raised hoof, Light whispered, "Moreover, my physical strength recovers very quickly. The strength I just consumed has almost recovered."

Light happily transformed back into his human form. He took out his wand and cast Transfiguration on the whole classroom. After using the Transfiguration,

A sense of incoherence emerged. Light immediately noticed that the wand in his hand didn't match his current Magic Power.

Moreover, the enhancement of the wand to his magic was weakened to the extreme.

"It seems that the wand needs to be modified. And..."

Thinking of this, Light paused slightly, frowned a little, and looked at the damaged classroom that was constantly being restored under the effect of Transfiguration.

"My magic power has also started to become stronger. Just like Voldemort before, although not as powerful as his enhancement."

"Could it be that [Horcruxes] also have the characteristic of closing the gap between the spirit and that mysterious area?"

Light, who had no clue for the time being, chose to put this question aside.

As he continued to increase the output of Magic Power, countless scattered wooden blocks and fragments flew back into the holes from the ground, and the cracks in the walls were also repaired.

Under the effect of magic, the classroom, which looked like it had been battered by a storm of magic, was quickly restored.

After finishing all this, Light's stomach growled. He touched his hungry stomach.

He took out his pocket - watch to check the time and found that it wasn't far from lunchtime. In order to catch up with the meal, he began to try to use Apparition.

At this time, Light felt a strange fluctuation disturbing his Magic Power and preventing the magic from taking shape.

However, he found that his Magic Power at this moment was not affected and could be used freely. In fact, it was even very easy.

At this time, Light's body distorted in the classroom and then disappeared from the spot. He reappeared in a corner of the auditorium, ready to start his meal.

In the headmaster's office, black smoke emerged from Headmaster Dumbledore's right hand wearing an ancient ring, staining his palm completely black.

At this time, the door of the office was opened. Professor Snape swooped into the office like a bat and handed a [potion] to Headmaster Dumbledore.

Looking at Headmaster Dumbledore, who was constantly breaking out in cold sweat, Snape frowned tightly but said nothing.

After the potion was taken, Headmaster Dumbledore's rapid breathing eased.

"Why is this happening? His Nightmare, even if tricky, shouldn't have put you in this state. The erosion of the Curses has accelerated," Snape questioned in a cold voice.

Dumbledore let out a long breath of foul air and said weakly, "On the contrary, it's very difficult for me to defeat him without using my trump card."

"Its overall defense is no less than a dragon's, and its speed is no less than that of a Thunderbird."

"This is very abnormal. It's completely beyond the scope of normal magical creatures."

After hearing Dumbledore's words, a glint of sharpness flashed in Snape's empty eyes, as if he had other ideas.
