She looks over at me with a smile that I absolutely do not envy. That warm, 'thinking about someone important to them' sort of thing that clueless people get. Or the ones that like to remain blissfully ignorant of what I know to be the nature of all relationships.
"Actually, we've been dating on and off for a while now. Met during our courses. Feels like forever."

Reaching up, I pat her on the back companionably. Another small test, to satisfy Vrika's worried curiosity. And just a bit to piss it off even more, because I'm getting tired of it not trusting me in these matters.

"Well… I sort of don't, currently. Think we're in a long break up period right now, since I bought yet another character body pillow and forgot to hide it…"
