Chapter 79 - 77- Conquest prep

"W…what are your orders, master?" Asked the beautiful woman as she kneeled in front of me, she was wearing a collar, with a string attached, held by me.

This was Karnilla, the former queen of the norns, currently a slave of the god king of Asgard.

I sat there in silence as I just looked at her, maybe she mistook my silence for anger, and with each moment passing, the fear within her only grew.

But the truth was… I simply did not know what to say to her, I mean, I took her back with me as a slave, just because I thought it would be a good idea, it was not as if I had some grand plans, so now, I could do anything I wanted, but had no idea what to do.

Honestly keeping her as a slave is a waste, I could probably free her, and court her to make her one of my women, because, over the years, that certainly was how I built my forces.

Freyja and Hela, my 'vice-captains' were my wives, Brynhild, the commander of my strongest legion, also my woman. Then there were Sersi and Thena, though they were not in some position of power, their current combat strength was enough to place them in the top 5 of Asgard.

Honestly, I can't wait for Thor to be born or Loki to be adopted, dumping off work on them would be good. Besides, the number of men in my command was seriously lacking.

I planned to correct that soon.

"Karnilla… tell me, what are you?" I asked, slowly, to make my words feel more serious.

"I… I am your slave master, your property to be dealt with however you wish." She replied with a shaky voice.

"And, do you wish to remain a slave, for all eternity?" I asked again, with the same serious tone.

"Yes."

"…" I was a bit shook, I mean, she replied almost instantly, how far did Eva even break her?

"That would be disappointing… No ambitions at all? Do not make the mistake to reply to my questions falsely, just to say what would please me. I want you to say the truth, understood?" I said with my serious face pro on, making her gulp out loud.

"I… I understand, master… Then, I wish to be free… I wish to eventually regain my previous position, to twist off the heads of those darned fates with my own hands, and behead that ogre and use his head as a decoration for the gates of my capital." She seemed to regain some confidence, and said it all out loud, despite gritting her teeth a bit.

I smiled, moved forward, gently stroking her face, "Good, this is much better, you should have some ambitions, a person without ambitions is worthless."

If she really did prove herself to be loyal enough, it would be good to leave Nornheim under her control, but I still haven't decided whether I should join Nornheim with Asgard, or let it remain as a separate nation completely under Asgard's control.

The greatest problem with us Aesir was our population, right now, our population was in its most glorious phase, and we could only pull off like, thirty thousand warriors…

The number was far too little, even counting Nornheim, it would barely reach 50,000… maybe adding Vanaheim would increase the number, but vanirs are about the same as Aesirs in population, so that would bring our numbers to 80,000.

Now, eighty thousand super Viltrumites with magic capacity and god tier tech sure were a nightmare to think about, but think about it, how little was that number, every major empire had populations in hundreds if billions or trillions, and we were not even a million.

Heck even if I really complete my plans, the entire army of Asgard would just be the royal guards of the empire.

I had sneakily blessed everyone with the divinity of life, which… well you know, increased the birth rate exponentially, but we still needed more people.

Maybe automated destroyer corps could take off some of the workload…

Anyways, our growth rate was going on good, but, with the long lifespans of Aesirs, it would take a long time to show proper results.

Not like anyone was unhappy with my blessings, almost every Aesir woman was beauty, and my blessing significantly reduced the pain of childbirth, moreover, this was Asgard, there is no such worry as you won't have enough resources to raise your child properly or something.

Everything here was in excess, luxury was the norm. Asgardians under my rule were definitely amongst the richest community in the entire universe.

Now, the next process is very hectic, and boring, so I would take the logical step, and take you to the good times.

-TIMESKIP 200 years-

Before you know it, I was old, over a millennia old, I mean sure as an immortal, a millennia shouldn't mean much to me, but crossing the age of thousand years, still felt a novelty.

A lot happened in the past two centuries… at least within Asgard and the nine realms.

We were preparing for war, that division was entirely led by me, our population had received a major boost, with all three realms combined, we had an astounding force of 100,000. Sadly, many of them were young ones barely a century or two old.

The Destroyer armours had been created, and the giant automated Destroyers too, which, basically were just giant sized destroyers who operate through A.I.

The mothership of Asgard had been prepared, by me, personally, a ship the size of Asgard itself, probably amongst the largest ships in existence, with enough firepower to obliterate entire solar systems in seconds.

During this time, we also stabilized the nine realms, well… they weren't acting out much, but I still sent Hela to beat up the frost giants, Fire giants, and the dark elves, to let them understand they should not act out later.

Vanaheim was prospering under their new queen, who, in truth had nearly zero involvement for their development.

But, having a god of creation on your side meant having infinite resources, and with me at the top to keep order, and proper planning from Eva, we were growing at an optimal pace.

"So, are we about to finally start?" Hela asked me curiously.

"Yes…Yes, we are. No more plundering, it's time for conquest, first we conquer ten worlds, then we raise an army from them.

Our tech is gonna need massive upgrades, the empire of Asgard is about to be born." I smiled back.

There was no need for secrecy, I was in a private room with only Hela and Freyja by my side.

"Hmm, so how long do you plan to fight?" Freyja, the lazy one asked with a sigh.

"Hela, how many soldiers do we have?" Instead of answering, I asked Hela a question instead.

"If we put all in, then about 100,000." Hela replied with a thoughtful expression, the goddess of Death and Destruction had matured a lot, growing into a proper general, not just a war maniac, but someone who could really lead.

"Then, we will conquer a hundred thousand planets with life. Imagine how glorious it would be, a hundred thousand planets, all with life, population in trillions, under our rule.

Maybe, the Empire of Asgard will have a trillion warriors one day." I said with a smirk.

"A HUNDRED THOUSAND PLANETS???!!! ARE YOU CRAZY? THIS WAR WILL NEVER END!!" Freyja shouted out loud, even Hela was a bit surprised.

Asgard's population never let us rule over others easily, but now, if I would just control the elites of each planet we conquer, and raise an army with each of them, the conquest would get easier as we continue.

Like, imagine 10 planets getting assigned to conquer one more planet every ten years, easy, right? If we have the technology of Asgard, lower level planets have no hope of fighting at all.

Still, the war would take maybe three to four millennia… but that's not too long, in the original timeline, even after three or four thousand years, even Thor was not born.

"I have a plan. It will take a few millennia, but our Aesir warriors would only have to fight seriously at the start, after which, the worlds would start falling like dominos, no need for us to do anything.

And… I will also renounce war after this conquest is over. No more conquest." I said seriously, surprising both Hela and Freyja and calming down Freyja.
