A devastating explosion shook the restaurant, and for a moment, the entire building seemed on the verge of collapsing. Every soul present inside froze in place, and then they all turned their heads toward the source of the tremors.
On the second floor, the room where the fight against the gang boss was happening had its walls destroyed.
Light seeped from a massive hole in the ceiling. Rubble fell, and dust rose into mist like clouds. Amidst all the destruction, crimson droplets fell to the floor, slowly forming a small puddle.
Werewolf watched the droplets go down one after the other, and his eyes seemed to lock onto one in particular. The instant that the droplet plunged into the crimson puddle, sound filled the world once more, and time seemed to return to its original flow.
