A melodious bell chimed at the press of a button. Pulling my hand back, I straightened my back and put on a polite smile that took a lot of practice to learn. Though it felt unnecessary at times, I understood the need to us it when performing my job.
Soon after I rang the doorbell, I heard the sound of hurried footsteps from the other side. They stopped after reaching the entrance, but the door didn't open for a few more seconds. Having an idea of what was happening on the other side, I kept my professional smile on and waited patiently.
The lock clicked and the knob turned before pulling away, revealing a dark haired woman. Looks wise, she was well above average, but nothing too special. I noticed that she was wearing a bathrobe, which told me that she was done with her preparations even before my arrival, showing her eagerness for today's event.
"W-welcome, Mr. Walker."
