Chapter 330 - Living Power Plant

"The heart of each species is a natural wonder. Most think of the heart as a simple pump, circulating blood through relentless clenching and unclenching. Many have glorified the heart in countless ways, whether in literature or bioscience. But what is neglected is thinking of the heart as a living power plant, continuously generating a rhythmic lightning wave. This wave immediately begins to spread, like a ripple across a still pond. The ripple of pure, gentle lightning washes across the upper chambers of the heart, and as it touches them, they gently squeeze. It is a soft, welcoming movement, guiding lifeblood into the main chambers below. When it reaches every corner of the lower chambers, the lightning wave creates a physical act. The mighty muscles clench in perfect, unified harmony. A strong, life-giving pulse is sent rushing into the arteries, carrying a trace of gentle lightning to every single cell in the body."
