"Li Wei La" The voice sounded near but far altogether. So familiar but I knew not to kid myself. I was already dead so who am I deceiving. The person kept shaking me and I snapped my eyes open. Didn't I die after being set ablaze, I looked around and noticed I was back in my room.
"Wei'er" I turned and saw my mom. Wasn't she murdered after being made to go mad, but she was standing right in front of me, how? I questioned.
"Mom?" It came out more of a question. She stared at me worriedly I could no longer hold it in as burst into tears even when I was burnt, I didn't cry but I was hoping this wasn't a dream and if it was, I never wanted to wake up. She enveloped me in a hug worriedly as her scent cocooned me. This is the last time I'll ever shed a tear.
"Wei'er are you alright?" She asked me worriedly as she caressed my head.
"I'm fine mom, never being better." She stared at me skeptically.
"What's today's date?"
"Wei'er!!!!!"
"Mom I'm fine really" I assured her.
"Today's your eighteenth birthday." I lowered my eyes as complex emotions flashed through it. Today's the day my nightmare began, thew day Li Su Lou or should i say Yun Jian entered my life.
"Thanks mom." I hugged her as she pecked my head.
"Get ready for school."
"Alright mom." She stared at me for a while then she muttered.
"You know I'll always be here for you when you need me and don't hesitate to come to me my jade." My nose felt sore as she caressed my head lovingly. She gave me one last smile as she walked out of my room.
I got up and walked to my vanity as I stared at my face. No scars on my face, no yellowish skin, no rough palms. I'm truly back. I closed my eyes as I took a deep breath in.
"Bai, Yun, Jun, Feng, Su family tutuu I'm back." I smirked devilishly back to myself. I have to be quick and start my plans. And I just can't wait for what I have in stall for the, they're going to wish they never crossed me.
I made my way to the bathroom to freshen up. After pampering myself I made my way towards my walk-in-closet which was no different from a clothing line in a mini mall. I selected a rose gold summer dress which a sweet neckline and diamond studded round the waist mimicking a belt with some flower designs from flurred down. I paired it along with my pink diamond watch and a cute necklace and finished up with a simple gloss over my lips needing no makeup at all. I admired my look in the mirror satisfied with my look, my curled bouncy hair to the dress, it felt good to be back. I picked up my bad containing my ID's, credit cards and other personal necessities and walked out.
I descended sown the stairs to go towards the dining hall where my family was. This time I was going to protect them with all I had.
"Happy Birthday Wei La.'' They wished me as I made my way to my seat. I gave each of them a hug as I breathed in their scent miss them dearly. You never really cherish your loved ones until you lose the, which should never happen.
"Happy Birthday baby girl." My big brother gave me a hug as he stared at me with a doting look in his eyes. Somehow recalling the memories of how he died, his painful and humiliating death and my eyes flashed coldly for a second.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Li Chen Xiao stared at his baby sis have a strange feeling that she had changed. She seemed more mature even though she was pretending to playful, but her eyes said otherwise. And for a brief second he thought he saw her an emotion flash through a eye's cold ruthless intent and although she was staring at him it was not directed to him but was at the same time about him.
The whole family stared at Li Wei La as she was lost in thought she seemed so mysterious at the same gloomy it flashed quickly as quickly as it came. If not for their sharpness they would not have caught on to it.
Her mother stared at her daughter thoughtfully as she recalled her breakdown this morning but what could have caused their pearl to change overnight.
He stared at the window of the sky scrapper thinking of the dreams he had being experiencing. But they felt more like memories than a dream. Who was the woman who had been feeling his thoughts. It all ended with him running after her, but her face was always fragmented making it impossible to see her face.
But who was she and why does he keep dreaming of her. And why did the thought of her leaving him hurt him so that he had the urge to cage her right by his side.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I brushed those memories away, right now I had everyone by my side.
"Don't I look stunning?" I asked them as I twirled then walked to my seat.
"of course you do." Mom pinched my cheeks with a loving look in her eyes. I thought I would never see those eyes again, I clenched my fist and took a deep breath in.
Mom signaled the maid to serve the food and then the light clutter of cutlery filled the hall. After we were done, we left there and headed to the lounge as the maids cleared the place.
"Mom, you don't have to drop me today I'll go with the driver." She nodded reluctantly as the mirth filled their eyes.
"Alright but remember head home immediately you're done with school so that you can have the last fit of your gown before the banquet." This evening during my birthday banquet, dad will hand over the company to me, making me the heiress and from there the fun begins.
Big brother wants nothing to do with the company since into the medicine field, a well-known medical surgeon well sought out and not to forget young.
"Come for your gift." They all handed me credit cards with millions of dollars as well as a set of blood jade jewelry.
"Thanks." I said receiving all unceremoniously.
"What about me?" Li Haochen my little brother questioned with a shy face. Everyone burst into laughter.
"Of course, how could I forget you."
He pouted his lips as I whispered something into his ears which him grin widely. I bid everyone farewell and left for school, I groaned slightly checking the time noting that I missed the first lesson.
