It has been decades, since their world - and their people - had been infected with something that was called the Spell. Something that brought both superpowers to their known world, as well as monsters that sought to consume them.

Following the emergence of the spell, humanity has slowly adapted and managed to gain at least a somewhat steady foothold in the so called dream world. 
The world, where apparently all those monsters come from.

This Story will follow a specific young man. One that had lived a relatively normal live - well, for such a world normal - until the death of his parents. Since then, he had trained and trained to - in the case of being infected by the Spell - be ready for what could be thrown at him.

Now, though, he notices that his existence seems a lot more complicated than he had orignally thought it to be.

Watch over his Journey and His Evolution. Will he be able to accept his fate and conquer it? Or will he be devoured by the challenges that will appear in his way.


This Story is just Something i do for fun, and to show respect to the original Creator GuiltyThree. 

Also, as with most fan fictions, consider this AU and don’t expect it to follow the original plot perfectly, as even the concept goes against some of the original’s concepts.

PS: I have to confess, i'm Not caught up with the current State of the Novel. I'm still somewhere in the 9. Volume. There will be many Changes later on anyway, probably. So it shouldn't be too much of a problem i hope.

For quite some time now, i've been following the original Shadow Slave, rarther slowly. That, was not because i did not have the time, or anything, but because i wasn't sure, if i liked, where the story is going. It is merely my personal preference and all, but i have decided to drop Shadow Slave as a whole, for a while, if not completely.


And, with the way it stands, this dislike, and even aversion to it, would significantly impact this story. In all honesty, i knew, nearly from the very first chapter that this was a journey that i would most likely never finish.


Though, i'm sorry that it ended, before they even got back, from the forgotten shore. Still, my mind is made up, which means that for the next few months, at least, no new chapter will be released.
