Stepping out of the taxi in a v-necked sleeveless black short gown with black ankle boots and minimal make-up to go with, Carla looked at the top most part of the company where Damien's office was situated and hoped against all odds that he would be too angry to want to see her today.
Stepping into the reception area, she only saw one of the receptionists and after a brief exchange of greeting and getting the lastest rumour about her affair with the CEO, she proceeded to her office.
Once seated on her chair in her cubicle after ignoring everyone, she set down to her mission. She needed to quench her curiosity and get the answer to her question.
Booting her desktop, she went to the Google search bar and typed in "The History of Blackwood Forest".
Scrolling through the different websites with different headings, but one caught her attention.
"An Old Legend About The Lady Who Vanished…"
Without wasting any more time, she clicked on the heading and waited for it to load. Not taking her eyes off the screen, she reached out for a chocolate bar in her bag and ate it while reading.
This time, there were no pictures, just writing with descriptions. Paying attention to the description, Carla felt like she got drenched in cold water, she felt like she was getting paranoid because the physical description suited hers without a change.
Looking at the trash can which was now empty, she regretted tearing off the papers, the newspaper article was older than the online article she was reading and the online article did not contain the needed information. It only had shallow information and the needed exaggeration the online bloggers added to their articles these days and it put her off.
Looking at her screen intently like she could go inside it to fetch herself the needed information, she tried to remember the flashes of memories she got during her two days break from work but they were gone.
She closed her eyes and willed herself to remember only to hear loud murmurs and rushed shuffling of feet before it got quiet but that wasn't any of her business, all she needed to do was to figure out a way to get her normal life back.
"Carla." A deep voice called her and she froze. She knew who that voice belonged to and she wasn't ready to face him just yet.
"Carla." He called again and this time, he didn't sound nice.
Opening her eyes slowly, she looked around her to see her colleagues stealing glances at them. She closed her eyes again and muttered a few words of prayers before turning to look at his intense eyes.
"Yes, Sir. Good morning." She greeted with a wry smile, ignoring his frosty face.
As usual, he was dressed in all black and stood beside her like the grim reaper ready to take her soul to hell.
"Pack up and follow me." He ordered, his eyes not leaving hers for a bit.
"Excuse me Sir, but…" She swallowed her words and gulped down her spittle when he glared at her.
"Okay, sir…" She gave a weird laughter and turned back to her desktop before shutting it down.
When she took her time to take her bag from the desk, he grabbed her hand and her bag before dragging her out of her department with the eyes of her colleagues following her.
Carla wished she could close her eyes and disappear like Rhy could, but when she stared at the back of Damien's head, she felt her heart palpitate.
On entering the special elevator reserved for the CEO, he threw her to the wall, punched his floor number and turned to face her.
'Oh Dear.' Carla placed her hand on her chest and prayed to hold his gaze without fainting.
He ignored her till they got to his floor and without waiting for her to step out, he grabbed her hand again and led her into his office, ignoring the receptionist on his floor.
Immediately his door got locked, he threw her bag to the floor and turned to face her completely. His face was red and his eyes were wide.
"What the fuck was that yesterday!?" He was just a step away from her and she held tight on to the wall before shaking her head and looking away.
"Look at me when I talk to you Carla else I swear, you won't like yourself." He stepped closer, placing his shoe on her toes and adding pressure to it.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Carla mentally applauded herself for being able to answer him without crumbling like a piece of dust.
"Really?" He had a crazed look in his eyes.
She didn't nod to his question but when he pressed himself on her, his hands on his wall and his mouth to her ear he asked, "Who is he to you?"
"I don't…"
"If you fuckin' lie to me, I swear I'd do thing he had never dreamt of doing to you." His voice was a deep whisper in her ear and it made the low fire in her stomach range into a bigger fire.
"Don't you want to talk?" He bit her ear and she squirmed but could not find a way to push him off her.
"You shouldn't be … you shouldn't do this, Sir."
"I bet you don't call him Sir." Damien chuckled, it was just like a rumble in his chest and Carla's cheek coloured.
He rubbed himself against her and the hardening of his cock pushed against her stomach.
'No…no!' Carla yelled in her head, she wasn't ready for this, not yet.
"I need – to breathe." She struggled to say.
"I don't mind you going unconscious right now, I'd just have to fuck you back to consciousness." He licked her ears and Carla felt her brain tingle, she clasped her thigh to a close but he pressed one of his legs in-between her thigh and pried it open allowing her to unconsciously rub herself against his thigh.
Still not giving her space, he palmed her breast and they both moaned out.
"We – we shouldn't be doing this, Sir…" Carla moaned out loud when he gave her breast a little squeezed.
"Did he do this to you too?" He asked directly into her ear, his voice was way deeper this time and when he didn't hear her answer, he grabbed the lower part of her V-necked gown and brought it down, making her breast jump out for his eyes to see.
"Beautiful." He groaned and stepped backward for a bit to drink in her full plump breasts with pink nipples.
His cock strained painfully against his trouser and his face darkened when Carla made to cover her breast.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." His voice was dark.
