"Your… what?" Felix asked, staring at Kade blankly. Surely he had misheard? He must have had, right?
But no.
"Hmm? What?" Kade blinked innocently, as if he had no idea what Felix was so dumbfounded by. "My bunny Felix," he then repeated calmly. As if what he was saying wasn't the most ridiculous thing that came out of his mouth that evening, maybe except for calling himself Vivi's father.
"You… You named your pet rabbit 'Felix'?" Felix took a guess. It didn't seem like Kade was talking about him, so that was the most reasonable explanation.
Not that it made the situation any less ridiculous.
"Yes!" Kade looked incredibly proud of himself. "Do you want to see? He's really cute, almost as cute as you!" he said, and pulled his phone out of his pocket, showing a picture of Felix the bunny to Felix the werewolf.
