Chapter 211 - Chapter 211: First Encounter with the Trailblazers

"Sigh, who knew she'd be so unexpectedly innocent? I never noticed this in the game..." Yun Fan scratched his head and sighed helplessly as he looked at Stelle, who had fallen unconscious on the ground again.

Just moments ago, the flustered Stelle had suddenly "attacked" him—something Yun Fan hadn't anticipated at all. Because of that, he hadn't had time to deactivate his defensive mechanisms.

And so... Stelle was knocked unconscious once more by the Imaginary energy radiating from Yun Fan's body.

"Hey! What did you do to that girl?!" Just as Yun Fan was considering whether to wake Stelle up again, a hurried female voice suddenly called out from behind him.

Turning around, he saw a spirit of Intertwined Fate holding a bow, eyeing him with slight wariness. Standing beside the Intertwined Fate was a dark-haired young man in traditional-style attire, his face expressionless.

Indeed, the two were none other than Honkai: Star Rail's poster girl March 7th and the "Cold Dragon Young" Dan Heng.

"March, step back. This person isn't simple." Dan Heng moved forward, gripping his Cloud-Piercer tightly as he shielded March 7th behind him, his entire body tensed for battle.

Though Dan Heng was wary of Yun Fan, he didn't show outright hostility. The tip of Cloud-Piercer was pointed to the side rather than directly at Yun Fan's chest.

'As expected of a Vidyadhara High Elder who's lived who-knows-how-many years—still so cautious.' Yun Fan nodded inwardly before raising his hands in a relaxed manner. "I have no intention of provoking conflict."

Dan Heng: ???

Silently, Dan Heng mentally typed out a few question marks, his expression turning odd. That line... was practically his own catchphrase.

"I have no intention of provoking conflict... Huh? Dan Heng, isn't that what you always say?" March 7th remarked with sudden interest.

"Ahem. March, it's just a phrase. Don't read too much into it." Dan Heng coughed lightly before stowing his spear.

Since the person before them bore no ill will, there was no need to keep Cloud-Piercer raised—after all, the weapon wasn't exactly lightweight.

Moreover, he could faintly sense a unique Path energy hidden within this person, different from any he'd encountered before. Though they hadn't crossed blades, Dan Heng's intuition told him that even at his peak, he might not be this man's match.

"I am Dan Heng. This is March 7th. And you are...?"

"I am Yun Fan, a wandering traveler. As for why I'm here... let's just say I picked the wrong landing spot during a spatial jump." Since Dan Heng had introduced himself first, Yun Fan reciprocated with a brief explanation.

"Ohhh, so that's how it is!" March 7th nodded in sudden understanding, her doubts about how Yun Fan achieved spatial jumping completely absent. In an ordinary world, spatial jumps might sound unbelievable, but in the Star Rail universe? Just another Tuesday.

"Then... what about her?" March 7th pointed at Stelle, still lying unconscious on the ground, her brows furrowed in confusion.

"Honestly, I'm not too sure either. She was already unconscious when I got here. I was just thinking about whether to wake her up when you two barged in."

"I see..." March 7th nodded, seemingly buying Yun Fan's excuse. Meanwhile, Dan Heng's lips twitched imperceptibly, his usually stoic face nearly cracking. Though he didn't know the specifics, he was certain this girl's unconscious state was related to the man before them.

'March is still too naïve.' Dan Heng facepalmed internally.

"We can't just leave her here. Dan Heng, Yun Fan—do either of you know CPR?" After a moment of thought, March 7th turned to the two and asked.

Dan Heng: "I know a little."

Yun Fan: "Master, do you?"

"Since when is CPR something you can be a 'master' at..." March 7th muttered under her breath before clapping her hands. "Then it's up to you, Yun Fan! Use your Oath's Kiss to save this sleeping beauty—uh, sorry, wrong script. Hehe..."

"No worries." Yun Fan chuckled and shook his head. March 7th was truly adorable. Pink hair, a bow, cheerful, energetic, amnesiac... She ticked all the boxes for a tragic backstory. The kind destined for a knife.

But since he was here now, he wouldn't let that happen.

'Sigh... I wonder which timeline the Yin Spirit went to in the Honkai world. Can she change that sakura-like maiden's fate? If she can, all's well. If not... I'll just have to descend upon the Honkai world myself after attaining true godhood!'

'Ugh...' In her unconscious state, Stelle felt her mind heavy, as if stranded in a scorching desert under a blazing sun.

Then, suddenly, a refreshing stream of water flowed into her mouth. Instinctively, her parched tongue reached out, craving more.

Back in reality...

Yun Fan: ???

The currently-CPR-administering Yun Fan was utterly baffled. Since when was Stelle this bold?! I was just giving her mouth-to-mouth...

Some time later...

"You're awake!"

Stelle's eyes fluttered open to see a pink-haired girl—likely her savior. Behind her stood a cold-looking black-haired youth (and cold he was). Further back was...

Stelle's eyes snapped wide open, her grogginess vanishing instantly. That's the jerk who took advantage of me while I was unconscious!

"Huh? What's wrong?" March 7th blinked in confusion at Stelle's sudden alertness, while Dan Heng narrowed his eyes thoughtfully.

An awkward silence settled over the group.
