Chapter 222 - Chapter 222: The Hunt's Divine Bow

"Ding! Ding!"

Yun Fan pulled out a strangely shaped bow from his bag and waved it in front of the two.

Unlike conventional bows, the one in Yun Fan's hand was entirely blue-purple in color, devoid of any decorations or carvings, appearing remarkably plain. What was even more astonishing was that this bow lacked a string—where the string should have been, upon closer inspection, one could faintly discern a surge of energy.

"Is this... a bow?" March 7th asked uncertainly. Compared to a standard hunting bow, this one looked more like... well, what exactly?

Unlike March 7th and Stelle, who were puzzled, the moment Welt and Himeko behind them saw this bow, their hearts trembled violently.

"Welt, don't you think this bow looks familiar, as if we've seen it somewhere before?" Himeko frowned slightly as she stared at the hunting bow in Yun Fan's hand.

"Indeed, I feel the same way. It's almost like..."

"Is this a gift for me? Thank you!" March 7th happily took the bow from Yun Fan and examined it several times. Though aesthetically, it wasn't particularly striking, her intuition told her that this bow in her hands was anything but ordinary.

"A bow without a string... how do you even use it?" March 7th murmured to herself before focusing on where the string should be. She mimed drawing the bow.

"Hummm—"

As March 7th performed the motion, a bowstring formed of condensed energy materialized. Immediately after, another surge of Path energy swirled into existence, shaping itself into an arrow nocked on the string.

"The power of The Hunt!" x2

Welt and Himeko exchanged glances, both seeing shock in each other's eyes. At that moment, they finally realized why this bow felt so familiar.

Wasn't this the very divine bow wielded by Lan, the Aeon of The Hunt?

"It is indeed the power of the Reignbow Arbiter."

The speaker was Dan Heng. At some point, our "Cold-Dragon Young" had also arrived in the living room, now reverted to his true form as the High Elder of the Vidyadhara. Gazing at the divine bow, he couldn't help but ponder deeply.

Why would the bow of the Reignbow Arbiter appear in the hands of an Emanator of Causality? Moreover, it didn't seem like a counterfeit. The bow itself could be replicated, but the vast, ocean-like power of The Hunt's Path imbued within it was impossible to fake.

The moment March 7th drew the bowstring, his Vidyadhara bloodline screamed a warning—this bow posed a lethal threat to him. He had no doubt that if the arrow were aimed at him, he wouldn't survive a single shot.

"Mr. Yun Fan, could you explain the origins of this bow? I have a feeling... it's the very divine bow wielded by the Reignbow Arbiter," Dan Heng inquired. He couldn't shake the suspicion that this Emanator of Causality was far more than he appeared.

Hearing Dan Heng's words, the crew of the Astral Express also turned their attention to Yun Fan, quietly awaiting his response.

"Well, how should I put it? This bow is indeed related to the Aeon of The Hunt, but it's not the same one Lan wields. This bow is a manifestation of rules, personally condensed by the Aeon of The Hunt using the power of The Hunt's Path. While it can't kill an Aeon, it's absolutely a deadly weapon against Emanators."

"Personally forged by the Aeon of The Hunt... capable of slaying Emanators?" March 7th softly repeated Yun Fan's words before quickly realizing the implications. She hastily shoved the bow back into Yun Fan's hands.

"No, no! This is too precious! I can't accept it!" March 7th shook her head vigorously, thinking to herself, 'My god, a weapon personally crafted by an Aeon! Yun Fan's an Emanator of Causality, right? Where did he even get this?'

"It's fine, it's not that valuable," Yun Fan shook his head before tossing the bow back to March 7th. "This bow was a gift from the Aeon of The Hunt to the Aeon of Causality. My Aeon then bestowed it upon me. Unfortunately, I'm not skilled with bows."

Yes, Yun Fan tossed it—he wasn't lying. To him, this thing was just an oversized toy. Beings at the level of Emanators could be crushed by Aeons with a mere flick of their fingers.

"Huh? The Aeon of Causality is that generous?" March 7th couldn't believe it.

"Haha, not bad, not bad—third-best in the universe. It's just that right now, I'm the only Emanator of Causality in existence. This thing is useless to an Aeon, so who else would they give it to?"

"The Path of Causality... so envious," March 7th muttered, glancing at the divine bow in her hands before looking back at Yun Fan's handsome smile. Suddenly, she sensed a possibility... Could it be that this guy actually has feelings for me?

March 7th felt she had stumbled upon the crux of the matter. Thinking about it, even if she didn't know the exact value of this bow, the fact that it was personally forged by an Aeon meant it was something countless people would fight tooth and nail to possess.

Yet he had given it to her, using such a flimsy excuse. Could he really like me? No, she had to test the waters a little.

"T-then, I'll treat it as a token between us! I'll hold onto it for now, and whenever you want it back, I'll return it to you," March 7th ventured cautiously.

"Sure, you can keep it for now," Yun Fan replied nonchalantly. He didn't sense anything unusual about March 7th's words and thus completely missed the implication behind the term "token."

'He really means it!' March 7th's heart raced wildly.

'W-what should I do...?'
