Dreamscape Hotel – Reality…
At this moment, our dear Miss Sparkle was kneeling properly before Yun Fan, her posture rigid. Yet the young man seemed completely oblivious, leisurely sipping red wine from his glass.
Time passed slowly, and the atmosphere in the room felt as though it had frozen solid. The longer this went on, the more anxious Sparkle grew inside.
Watching Yun Fan's utterly indifferent expression, the girl inwardly groaned. Forgive her—no matter how much she racked her brain, she had never once connected this man before her to an Aeon.
She had thought the Aeon of Elation was already human-like enough, but that was only in the pursuit of amusement. Yet the temperament of this Aeon of Causality was, if anything, even more akin to an ordinary person's mentality than most.
What a joke—since when would an Aeon stoop to hiding their identity and masquerading as a normal person just to flirt with girls?
"Miss Sparkle."
"Yes…?"
Yun Fan merely called her name softly. After hearing her response, he fell silent again.
This was pure torture for Sparkle. Yun Fan's languid tone had her nerves on edge, yet with no follow-up, she couldn't relax. Dragging it out like this was downright cruel.
"Lord Yun Fan, if you're going to punish me, just say it outright. Keeping a lady in suspense like this is very ungentlemanly, you know~"
"Oh?" Yun Fan raised an eyebrow. He had expected Sparkle to remain silent, but surprisingly, the little troublemaker spoke up first.
"You, a lady? Well, if we're judging solely by looks and attire, I suppose Miss Sparkle could indeed be called many people's 'white moonlight.'"
"Hehe, Lord Yun Fan, you're quite the smooth talker. Indeed, back in my acting days, I had plenty of suitors." Sparkle flipped her cascading hair with a proud smirk, like a haughty peacock.
"Oh? So little Sparkle used to be an actress? In that case, how about you do something for me?"
"Do it well, and not only will I forgive your insolence, I'll even grant you the power of Causality."
"But if you fail…" Yun Fan deliberately drew out his words, his gaze shamelessly sweeping over Sparkle's JK outfit before he chuckled. "I think you understand."
"Understood…" Sparkle forced a smile, though inwardly, she was already cursing: 'This filthy bastard—how the hell did someone like him become an Aeon? Why would the universe allow this?!'
Noticing her reaction, Yun Fan couldn't help but smirk. 'Little brat, you think you can outplay me?'
If they were on equal footing, perhaps in terms of schemes, he might not be this gremlin's match.
But the current situation was this: Yun Fan possessed power absolute enough to dominate everything. As for Sparkle? Among Pathstriders, she was certainly strong.
But compared to an Aeon? She wasn't even in the same galaxy.

"Little sister… Ah…"
In the Daybreak Manor, Sunday sat rigidly, mirroring Sparkle's earlier posture, while across from her, her brother held his head in his hands, visibly pained.
Just yesterday, he had warned Robin not to interact too much with that unknown man. So why, today, was she already meeting with him again? And according to reports, she had even disguised herself for the occasion—less like a meeting and more like a date.
And then, as if things weren't dramatic enough, some schoolgirl-style girl had popped out of nowhere, clinging to the man's arm and claiming she was pregnant with his child.
What the hell…?
Sunday lifted his head, staring intently at his sister. His gaze lingered on her guilty expression for a long moment before he finally looked away.
Was his little sister going through a rebellious phase? But hadn't she already passed her teenage years?
After a long silence, Sunday finally made a decision. He clasped his hands together, his expression grave.
"Robin, I hope you can give your brother an explanation—a proper one. Otherwise…"
"Don't blame me, but I'll have to suspend all your performances and send you away from Penacony for a while."
Sunday was serious. He had never been strict with his sister before. But now, for her own safety, he had to show the same firmness he reserved for outsiders.
Knowing she couldn't talk her way out of this, Robin could only lower her head helplessly and confess everything about Yun Fan.
After hearing her out, Sunday's face first twisted in shock before settling into solemnity. "You're saying he's an Emanator—and of the most mysterious Path of Causality? And that girl who suddenly appeared is a Masked Fool?"
Sunday stood up, placing one hand behind his back as he paced to a nearby wall. He traced the relief of the Family emblem, countless thoughts racing through his mind.
After the concert ended, he had immediately ordered his people to gather information on that man. Unfortunately, aside from confirming that he had checked into the hotel alongside the Masked Fool Sparkle, nothing else of value had turned up.
He had noted the name "Yun Fan"—after all, the Aeon of Causality also bore that name.
As for whether this man could be the Aeon of Causality… He had considered it, but quickly dismissed the idea. The reason? The same as Sparkle's.
After a long silence, Sunday finally asked with a complicated expression, "Robin… what do you think of him? Is he someone we can trust?"
"Huh?" Robin blinked, instinctively replying, "Brother, are you worried he might threaten us? Don't be—didn't I just say he swore to the Aeons that he wouldn't harm Penaco—"
"I'm talking about you, little sister." Sunday cut her off. The Family was important, yes—but his sister mattered more.

"Miss March, Miss Stelle—long time no see."
At the Cloud Knight prison, the belatedly arriving Jing Yuan greeted the two girls outside the gate with a lazy yet warm smile.
"General Jing Yuan, sorry to trouble you with this trip. We're really embarrassed…" March 7th shook his outstretched hand awkwardly, her face full of sheepishness.
"Haha, it's fine. I believe Mr. Welt didn't do it on purpose." Jing Yuan laughed, though inwardly, he was struggling to keep a straight face. For someone as composed and mature as Welt, he never expected him to cause such a mess.
