Chapter 205 - Chapter 360: I Say a Number, Ten Days, Twenty Times

There are three ways to reach the Far North territory of the dragon race.

The first method: traveling normally, but whether in human form or dragon form, it would take a lot of time;

The second method: using space magic to perform fixed-point teleportation. The advantage of this method is that it can greatly save travel time. The disadvantage is that, looking across the entire dragon race, the number of clans that can skillfully use space magic and use it frequently does not exceed five.

The difficult part is, three of those clans' Dragon Kings were already fooled by General Leon;

The third method is to take specific transportation tools. Although it still takes several days to reach the Far North, it's much faster than flying on your own.

And for the Far North field test of the young dragon division at Saint Heath Academy, the chosen method is the third one.

As for the so-called "transportation tool," it's the children's old friend, the giant dragon Leviathan.

Don't be fooled by these gentle-tempered "school buses" and their huge size; in fact, they're also among the few clans that have mastered space magic.

Although their space magic is not of the same school as Ravi and the others, it's still perfectly fine for travel.

This journey starts from the academy and is expected to take three days to reach the Far North.

Noah, carrying a fully packed backpack, obediently stood behind a group of senior students, entering Leviathan's teleportation beam in an orderly manner.

"Oh, look, there's a little one coming with us too."

"Are there extra spots again... I remember a senior once told me, the last time a young dragon division signed up for the Far North field test was many years ago."

During the chatter, a tall senior sister turned around. She slightly bent down, hands on her knees, smiling warmly as she asked, "Cutie, what's your name?"

"Noah, Noah K. Melkvei."

Upon hearing this, the senior sister looked slightly surprised, "You're that famous Noah from the young dragon division?"

The little grind queen's face flushed red, and her hand gripping the backpack strap tightened involuntarily, "N-not that famous..."

She had never spoken with teenage young dragons before, so suddenly being addressed like this made her a little nervous.

"I'm Yuna, from the Thunder Dragon clan. Nice to meet you, Junior Noah."

"Thunder Dragon clan...", Noah blinked and looked Yuna up and down, "But I remember Thunder Dragons are generally really tall and skinny."

Noah recalled that, a few years ago during the relay race at the family sports event hosted by the academy, her dad was nearly schemed against by a tall Thunder Dragon.

But in the end, her old man still outplayed them and won the race.

"Little Noah, what do you mean? Are you saying your senior's figure isn't good?", Yuna pretended to be angry.

Noah panicked and waved her hands frantically, "No no, I-it's..."

Yuna pouted, and seeing Noah flustered, she didn't tease her further, "Don't be nervous, I'm just playing with you. The tall and skinny ones you're talking about are the Electric Dragon clan; I'm Thunder Dragon."

Noah came to a realization, "Oh oh, I remembered wrong, sorry."

"No worries, people often confuse the two clans."

Yuna was an easygoing senior sister and didn't mind it at all.

"Did you come sign up by yourself?", Yuna asked.

Noah nodded, "Mm."

"The Far North environment is very harsh, and the dangerous creatures living there are tough-skinned and thick-fleshed. If you're not careful, you might get hurt," Yuna said seriously.

But Noah showed no sign of being scared, "I know, Senior Yuna."

Yuna paused. This little one's eyes were full of determination.

She wasn't sure if it was the bravery of the innocent, or if the junior truly had skills.

In Yuna's opinion, she leaned toward the latter.

After all, Saint Heath Academy was filled with geniuses and elites, and for Noah to stand out in such an environment, she couldn't be ordinary.

"Yuna, we're going for an assessment. Don't tell me you're bringing a child along. She'll be a burden," A senior beside them said.

Yuna turned her head and looked at him, "Mind your own business, Anton."

The senior named Anton shrugged with a look of indifference.

Yuna rolled her eyes at him and said nothing more. She turned back to Noah and returned to her gentle smile, "It's okay, Noah. If you run into trouble, feel free to come to me anytime."

"Mm, thank you, Senior Sister."

Yuna smiled and continued chatting casually with Noah while they queued.

Once everyone boarded Leviathan, Yuna went to find her classmates.

Before she left, she reminded Noah several times to come to her if anything happened.

Noah promised she would.

'What a warm-hearted senior sister.'

Noah stood near Leviathan's tail, from where she could see its entire back.

To make the journey less boring, the school had even set up some simple lodging areas.

Fortunately, Leviathan was a well-tempered "school bus." Otherwise, on the back of any other dragon, holding a party like this would get you flipped off the next second.

Looking at the seniors all with companions, and herself standing alone.

At that thought, she couldn't help but miss her little sea dragon bestie.

Including travel time, this assessment would last around ten days.

Aside from the senior named Yuna she just met, Noah didn't know a single person.

She blinked her beautiful big eyes, set down her backpack, and sat cross-legged.

Her silver tail lay behind her, and she gently rested her chin on her backpack.

The breeze blew across Noah's bangs. She half-lowered her eyes, looking somewhat lonely and alone.

After a while, Noah murmured softly, "If only Helena were here..."

"I'm guessing someone missed me," A familiar voice came from behind.

Noah snapped her head up and looked toward the voice.

A flash of blue entered her vision.

"Helena..."

"Geez, you walked so fast this morning, I couldn't catch up to you," As she spoke, Helena put down her backpack and sat beside Noah.

Even after her bestie sat down beside her, Noah was still a bit dazed, "You came too?"

"I came too... mm, good question."

Helena stroked her chin, pretending to think. After a moment, she said, "Because there were two spots, one for you, one for me, just perfect."

"...I can do math, Helena. I meant why did you sign up?"

"Because when I thought about a little silver dragon spending three days and nights in the icy wilderness, with no one she knows around, I just couldn't sit still."

"I'm not afraid of being alone..."

"You're not afraid, but you don't like it, do you?"

Noah opened her mouth to refute but had no words.

Helena was right. She wasn't afraid of going to the assessment alone, she just didn't like being alone.

Growing up with her younger sister, and having top-tier parents, Noah had never really gone through anything alone except for the first few days after enrolling.

She thought this would be her chance to build herself up, but then her bestie just popped in like that.

Hmph, well, then next time she'd train herself instead. After all, the academy had plenty of field tests. The little dragon girl thought silently.

The besties chatted for a while, until they noticed Leviathan slowly descending and decelerating.

"What's going on? I thought it was a direct trip to the Far North?", Noah asked.

"Eh? You didn't hear?"

"Hear what?"

"There's a tourist group coming along this time."

Upon hearing this, Noah's mouth twitched slightly, "Tour... tourist group... why would there be something like that?"

Helena shrugged and patted the massive scale beneath her, "Uncle Leviathan has to make a living too. He's taking us for the assessment, so might as well bring a tourist group along, then market the tickets as limited edition. Big profit~"

Noah silently facepalmed and accepted this reality.

For the next part of the trip, Leviathan stopped frequently, picking up many tourists heading to the Far North.

Noah wasn't interested and was even getting sleepy.

Until half an hour later, from far away, Noah saw... her mom's Silver Dragon Sanctuary.

"Wow, it's your home, Noah! Are Uncle and Aunt going to the Far North too?", Helena looked a bit excited.

Noah, after thinking for a moment, stood up immediately, pulled Helena, and hid in a corner to observe secretly.

"What's wrong, Noah? Aren't you going to say hi to your parents?", Helena asked.

Noah shook her head, "Helena, remember last time you said you really envied my family's way of interacting?"

"Mm-hmm!"

The filial daughter Noah smiled slightly, "Then this time, I'll let you see how they really interact in private."

"Eh?"

"I'll say a number, ten days. They'll kiss at least twenty times!"

'This is the confidence my model parents give me,' —Silver Dragon Princess, Noah K. Melkvei.
