In a forest, amidst the towering trees, a lump of flesh grew from nothing and transformed into an 8-foot giant werewolf with black fur.
The menacing wolf looked around in vigilance.
'How am I alive?' *GROWLLL*
Like a human, the Werewolf held its throat.
'I can't ...speak but I'm sure I did back then.. right back.... then, I should be dead'
A screen popped up in the werewolf's vision.

'Did you revive me? Why? What was your purpose?'
Even though she knew she won't get any answers. The werewolf growled.
After some time, Lucy calmed down because the screen was unchanging and it didn't answer.
She still remembered the note of this system.
'I should Level up to 6 first, right? Only then will I get answers. Because why did it revive me for no reason? Unless it really wants me to get to Level 6, no matter the cost. It's also a blessing in disguise, I don't have to fear death until level 6, but dying still hurts.'
For now, that is Lucy's conjecture. She's not sure if she can bet on that.
'I will get to Level 6. Now then, first and foremost, what am I?'
Lucy mentally clicked the monster part on the screen as it glowed.
[Monster : A being with monstrous physical and mental capabilities that can shapeshift, read minds]
'I can shapeshift?' *Growl*
Lucy thought about her body before her reincarnation, and sure enough.
The 8 ft werewolf turned into a 5'6 blonde girl.
"But I don't feel any difference in my strength. Oh, I can speak now."
Lucy's senses picked up a bear coming running towards her from a mile away. She was about to transform back into her werewolf form when she sensed the bear's thoughts.
"I couldn't do that before. And..."
She tried to telepathically impose her thoughts on the grizzly bear to stop.
The grizzly bear stopped on the spot.
Lucy ran towards it and appeared in a few seconds.
"Woah! That was fast."
Looking back at the trail where the leaves are still falling in slow motion. She's surprised. When she wanted it to be 'normal', the slow-motion resumed and the leaves fell normally.
"As for you"
Lucy blocked the bear as it slammed its arms on her, shaking its head as if something was messing with its head.
Lucy expected blood to spill from her, but nothing happened to her skin,, and she picked up the bear easily, like it's a feather, and threw it into the sky.
*Roar!!*
The best roared wildly as it shot through the sky.
"Oh no, the magical society will search here if someone sees a bear in the sky."
Before the bear can reach an even higher altitude in the sky. Lucy jumped, caught the bear, and landed on the ground, forming a small pit.
To her surprise, the bear is still struggling mentally, placing it down. She tried to remove her influence on it. She mentally tried to alter it, but she couldn't.
On the contrary, Lucy could mentally detect the bear's location now.
"Interestingly, that means I don't have mind control exactly like an alpha voice. I can influence others, and it's a one-way mental corruption. Since I can't take away the influence, can I give it another influence, countering the first one?"
She 'influenced' the bear to run away from her. Once again, the bear tried to resist the thought as its instincts to eat are dominating them more.
Lucy watched the bear struggle mentally with the counter influences; finally, the bear gave up as Lucy's thoughts dominated its mind. Though it seemed to have lost the commands as it just stared at Lucy.
"Interesting, Interesting. Bring that wild boar over there to me."
Lucy pointed at a distance as she's sure the bear could smell the boar's scent, but the bear just looked towards the Direction Lucy pointed, and it did nothing.
It clicked to Lucy immediately 'Right, how come a bear knows English? If I say it physically, it won't matter. What if I tell it mentally?'
Lucy telepathically 'talked' to it, and again, the bear just looked in the direction. This time it ran towards it but...
"Wait, did it come to its own conclusion that I want to eat it when I showed the boar. Then? It's not mind control either. So, I can only telepathically read memories and Influence. That's it? I lost Telepathic communication? Hmm...I can read memories in human form? Am I a human though?"
Lucy could sense the inside of her body at a thought. Sure enough, there is just flesh and blood inside her body. There are no organs like eyes, bones, or even a heart.
"Then how am I able to 'speak' in human form and 'growl' in werewolf. But I spoke in Hogwarts even as a werewolf. Does that mean I have to will it?"
Lucy shapeshifted into a werewolf, this time a brown one, to see if she could change colours.
"..I can speak?" Even as a werewolf, she could speak, and just like she wanted, she transformed into a brown werewolf.
"This is magical. Speaking of magic, I don't sense any magic in me, nor the body heat, but since I'm a magical being beyond common sense, it doesn't matter?"
Lucy sensed the bear thinking it had caught the boar.
"Oh, wow, I can immediately focus when I appear in its thoughts. Not bad"
She mentally ordered the bear to just eat it by sending it images of eating.
"I get the gist of mental capabilities, I even seem to remember everything without forgetting. As for the shapeshifting part.."
Lucy tried to turn into a bear, a bird, an insect, an amoeba, a giant, a lamppost. Not all the transformations worked, though.
"Hmmm, it seems my lowest size limit is an ant-like insect, while the highest size limit is below 3 meters. Not to mention, I can't turn into an inorganic being, even as a lamppost, I seem to have flesh and blood. I also can't split into a swarm, I can only be one being. If I split, I feel like I will die or at least, one of the parts will die."
After confirming her shapeshifting abilities, Lucy decided to check her strength. Surprisingly, she could mentally grasp her limitations when it comes to lifting something or punching things. She would just know it.
"It happened with my senses too, I know that I can watch in slow motion or in 'normal' time... But, I guess it makes sense. I'm not a human anymore, I am beyond common sense."
She turned back to her werewolf form, as it felt more comfortable than the human self.
"Now that is over. It's time to get to Level 2 before I can get my revenge."
Just with her being a 'Monster', she's sure nothing can almost harm her in this world, even Dumbledore is an old man in the end. But some tools can kill her, and a group of Level 0's managed to kill her at Level 1.
Just for a safety measure, she wanted to be Level 2.

Flying in the sky, Lucy came to the nearest city. She could easily see the people walking on the road and using smartphones. She even saw someone messaging on Facebook.
'Wait, smartphones? In the 90s? No way, did I mess up the timeline? Or...'
She focused on the dates, and sure enough.
'It is 2018? Did it take so long for the system to revive me, or did it send me into the future?'
