After spending years as Eris and Nora and having very close relationship both Rommel and Monty return back right into Tunisia 1943.
And being the British, Monty does it just to tease Rommel about their fantasy world bond. He takes a white flag and walks straight up to a confused German sentry. The soldier salutes first then pulls up his Kar98k towards Monty.
Monty meanwhile says, "I come in peace. I want to talk to your field marshal Rommel."
The German soldier didn't know what to do. Either to arrest this high value allied hero as a POW or do as he says.
Seeing the confused soldier, Monty says, "You don't have to do much. Get Rommel and just tell him that a girl named Nora is here hoping to meet lady Eris. That'll do and don't mention my name. He'll understand. Now hurry up chap my tea is getting cold."
The soldier rushed to the command tent where Rommel was at a map with his generals planning offensives. He snaps, "Herr Generalfeldmarschall, a girl named Nora is here to meet Eris."
Rommel looked up from the map visibly amused. "Really now?!" The soldier was even more confused that Rommel understood that.
"Make her comfortable. Tell her to sit anywhere she wants. Give her some candies, a few pats on the head and probably a kiss on the cheeks or forehead if you want. I will be soon there to meet her."
Now the soldier was even more confused and mortally terrified. Yet, he tries to show some decorum. He consoled himself, the Marshal is either joking or it is also the same secret code Monty was using.
Going to the waiting Desert Rat he says, "Herr Marshal is a bit occupied. He will be with you shortly." He guided the enemy general inside a tent. He didn't dare offer Montgomery any candy or even kiss.
Meanwhile Rommel ended his meating and was thrilled to see the little girl Nora, delighted at the fact that his biggest rival was still a girl even in this world. He pulls the canvas curtains and enters the room where Montgomery is sitting.
Without noticing he said, "Dear Nora, I can't believe you are still a girl even in our original world..." and then he froze because there was no Nora, it was Montgomery, his blood enemy in this world and in the other fantasy world, his close partner.
"Disappointed?" Monty asked seeing Rommel in surprise.
Rommel replies, "I was hoping you'd still be that cute little girl who I could cuddle but it seems you are back to your previous ugly self." The soldier at this point might as well just faint.
Then Monty dropped an atom bomb that silenced any and every German and Italian officer present at the scene, "Looks like I have to tell lady Lucia that you could never sleep without Elsa cuddling you."
Rommel's face turned reddish pink from visible anger and blush. His men could see it. They could feel it.
He looked at the soldiers, "Throw this wretch out my command post before I decide to have him shot right here." Monty protested, "Is this the way to treat your..." Rommel didn't allow him to finish, "And please gag his mouth."
Two Italian carabinieri took Monty who didn't resist.
Due to Rommel's orders they tied a piece of cloth on his mouth, "Pardon us sir but we must follow orders." He nodded and laughed. "Please do. Or else who knows what else you might learn about your little marschallin."
The two carabinieri looked at each other not knowing what to do or say. They gagged him and took him back to the allied lines where the commonwealth troops were furious that their commander in chief in Africa was treated like this.
The Axis had the audacity to return him gagged. Though Monty himself just laughed and told them not to mind it. Some of them already pointed their guns at the two poor Carabinieris and were about to shoot them.
"Hey, hey, hold fire!" Monty ordered his troops to stop. Somewhat life returned to the pale faces of the two Italians who were thinking that they would die right here.
"Don't worry too much lads. This is something that happens when you tease the most innocent and the cutest little German princess too much." Monty explained to his troops with a wide smile.
The commonwealth troops looked at each other not knowing what to say. Nor who their commander meant by an innocent little German princess.

This is just I side story for that suddenly came to my mind and I just decided to write in the meantime. The real next chapter is due and I will try to publish it before 20 this month.
