Rein Shroud finally understood that his enemy is not like other arrogant brat. If he acted careless it can cost him. Now he was going to fight seriously.
"Light's Embrace"
Golden light erupted from his body covering him with light mana now. He was moving with at a blinding speed making the robed man puzzled who was trying to attack him with dark flame.
Rein punched him in the chest sending him flying, then he whispered.
[Luminar Fall]
Instantly Thousands of light orbs fell from the air like a falling star each orb—blazing and pure. They strike him again and again.
"Arghh—"
The man screamed in pain, his shadow flickering violently but dark flame was still resisting the attack.
The man then summoned dark and covered his whole body with it devouring all the light towards him. He raised his hands obsidian chaines materialised instantly at the end of it was black spiky orb pulsing with dark flame.
It looked like similar to a spiky fallen star bounded by Abyss chains.
The man gripped the chain from both sides and began to rotate wildly in place. The spiked orb swung around him in vicious circles, the sheer momentum ripping the wind into shreds. Shadows formed a ring of death, turning the man into a living vortex of destruction.
Rein shot forward to intercept—but the wild spin struck him mid-air and knocked him back several meters. He skidded, caught his footing, and stood again.
The man was spinning at an insane speed that rein didn't even get the chance to get near him. He was literally using the chains as a radius to spin on axis making a ring of dark flames. Annoyed, Rein taunted him.
"Didn't you say you were going to kill me? Now you are not even fighting. what happened? Got scared?"
"You should have brought your daddy," Rein mocked him as he summoned his sword with a golden hilt and silver shiny blade with magical enchantment on it.
"Let's end this I have no time for coward."
He raised his sword in air, the aura of light and time swirled violently and gets infused condensing at the blades edge.
The sword now started pulsing bright golden and white, he pointed the sword towards the man who was still rotating like crazy whole gripping the chains.
"Light-Time Harmony"
"Chrono–Luminous"
And he slashed.
A blinding arc of golden energy tore across the field, reality trembling in its wake. It surged toward the spinning enemy with annihilating force.
The robed man saw the attack coming towards him but didn't stopped. His hands and body was screaming in pain due to rotating continuously but even that pain wasn't enough to stop him.
He used his pain as a fuel instead of shackles on his body.
He concentrated and poured all the pain on the dark chains, a red violent aura appeared on the chains and spread all around in the circle.
"Born from the Sorrow"
"Buried like a storm,"
As soon as he muttered those words the red aura started swirling violently like a storm raging for destruction and chaos.
The red aura of pain twisted into a chaotic spiral, a storm not of wind—but of agony.
"Storm of Pain,"
Just as Rein attack was going to attack him, a massive violent storm pulsing red with agony struck it down, light and time mana swirling in it like children caught in tornado.
Booom!
A loud explosion shook the whole real as Rein attack exploded inside the raging storm. Both of them were thrown far away from their initial position.
The place where explosion happened was now completely destroyed.
Dust, wind, and pain filled the air.
The robed man coughed blood. He was severely injured but dark flames were doing its work, healing his wounds at a fast speed, without it he would have definitely died.
Rein was also injured by the explosion, he had no internal injury but his body was feeling intense pain and it was not physical but mental, emotional, and spiritual level pain that would have broken any normal human.
But Rein was far from normal.
"To have such understanding of pain and sorrow. I wonder how have you been living until now?" Rein thought as he felt his whole soul was screaming with pain.
"Did you feel it?" The robed man laying flat on the broken ground with blood and saliva dripping from his lips asked Rein.
"That's pain. The kind of pain that stays even after death. Pain that never forgets. That make the soul mourn forever. To cry even in silence,"
"This realm consumes everything even death. Pain is no more a burden to me. Its my closest companion after sorrow but for you it will be become a curse."
"You will suffer from this pain unless I die."
"As long as there is a pain and sorrow in my heart. You...can't kill me," The robed man finished his words, he got up and ready to fight again fully healed.
Rein was now shocked to see him fully healed while he was feeling pain.
"That flame, it must be destroyed first or else he will heal endlessly,"
"Pain...huh? I will show you True Pain," he said his voice cold.
He took a slow breath and extended his hand.
On his palm a golden-White flame appeared shimmering with light and time psions.
It was a flame that would burn anyone from the timeline itself.
"It doesn't matter why you want to kill me?... and If you were right or wrong?" His voice cold and serious.
"At the end of the day you chose to walk the wrong path losing all the help and empathy you might have deserved."
"No matter how much darkness you carry in your heart, my flame will burn everything," Rein shroud said as he finished concentrating destructive flame on his palm.
The golden-White flame soared into the sky and shaping itself into a colossal golden-White divine bird form — its massive wings, large enough to cast a shadow in entire realm, swirling with psions of time and light, each flap warping reality.
"World's Extinction," Rein declared, his eyes shining golden.
The colossal bird opened its mouth.
Golden lava erupted from its beak, spilling across the battlefield like a flood of sunfire. From its wings and tail, countless light bullets and glowing feathers shot downward like divine wrath.
Beams of condensed golden light wrapped with time mana blazed from its eyes, piercing through every layer of space.
The very realm shatter from the sheer force.
It was truly a catastrophic attack destructive enough to destroy the whole realm along with Rein himself.
The robed man gritted his teeth as he watched the unfolding cataclysm — this wasn't mere destruction.
This was total extinction. If not done anything it will devour everything.
"Phew, not bad."
Rein looked at the scene of destruction and was pleased as the space was going to destroy in few seconds later. He almost thought of going back to home to take a bath, that's when he heard:
"Dark Realm."
Booom!

[Capital city | North, 5Km from Church]
In a small peaceful cafe, where only few customers were present and scent of breads, cakes and coffee filled the air which made the noses of passers-by twitch forcing them to look at the shop.
In a silent corner, at window table, sat two figure facing each other.
The figure with platinum blond hair was pouting sitting infront of white hair figure.
"Noah, You can't just open a portal inside my room. What if I were changing my clothes?" Olivia scolded Noah for suddenly appearing inside her room at early morning.
"Sorry Olivia, I didn't think of that."
"I won't come inside your room again." Noah said his head bowed with guilty expression.
Olivia who heard that, replied to him, "Idiot, why are you taking that seriously? I said that because I was not dressed properly and my room was a mess. I don't want you to see me like that."
Noah asked her with a smirk, "So you won't mind If I come inside your room when you are dressed nicely right?"
Olivia who heard his words, felt a heat rush to her face, a boy asking to come inside her room, a Saintess. If church heard this they will declare him as heretic.
"Y-Yes, but only when I allow you. I am still your senior. Understood."
"Yes, Senior," Noah replied almost saluted her.
She rolled her eyes, hiding her smile behind her coffee cup.
After a quiet sip, Noah leaned forward, his voice low.
"So Senior any News about Rein Shroud?" Noah finally asked the main topic.
"I don't know where he is currently but the pope told me that he is supposed to come out of his seclusion around this week. So I think you will meet him very soon," Olivia answered his query as she took a sip of her coffee.
Noah also took a sip from his cup and said, "I see, but I think it will be too late until then. He was not in the vision. What if he is in some kind of problem?"
Olivia looked at him and smiled, "Who can become a problem for him? And if someone is really so strong to keep him—The strongest Hero away from the capital. Then...can we even help him?"
Noah listened to her and said, "You're right. If he can't do anything then we will only cause more trouble for him. Plus we have no idea where the hell is he?"
A long pause.
Then they both sighed, quietly.
"Now we can only wait for him?" Olivia said softly.
Noah took another sip from his cup and thought, "Right, It's not like anyone can kill him."
