Chapter 18 - The Dawn of Animation in One Piece

A New Era Begins

The world of One Piece was vast, full of powerful figures, dangerous seas, and deep-rooted histories. But today, something new entered this world. Something none of them had ever seen before.

For the first time, across the Grand Line and beyond, animation appeared.

It started with a flicker, a ripple of cursed energy spreading through the world like an unseen wave. In every major city, on every pirate ship, in every Marine base—a floating screen materialized before the people.

A message blinked into existence.

[NOW PLAYING: Naruto - Episode 1 & 2]

[Duration: 45 minutes each]

[Automatic Charge Applied: 1,000 Berries per person (if affordable)]

[Special Pricing: Celestial Dragons - 10,000 Berries | Five Elders & Imu - 100,000 Berries]

The people hesitated. Moving pictures? A story unfolding before their very eyes? This was unlike anything they had ever known. Then, the episode began.

And the world changed.

Reactions Across the WorldThe Straw Hat Crew – Confusion & Shock

A screen materialized on the deck of the Going Merry, catching the crew off guard.

"What the hell is this?!" Usopp shouted, jumping back. "Did we anger some sea god?!"

Sanji, cigarette dangling from his lips, squinted at the message. "A moving story? This some kind of new entertainment?"

Zoro folded his arms, unimpressed. "Tch. Whatever. As long as it's not a distraction."

Luffy, meanwhile, was already grinning. "Ooooh! Moving pictures! This is awesome!" He plopped onto the deck, completely invested before the episode even started.

Ren, of course, pretended to be just as surprised as the rest. "Huh. That's… weird. Never seen anything like this before."

As the first episode played, silence settled over the ship.

They watched as Naruto was ostracized, as villagers whispered behind his back, as he was beaten down—but still stood back up.

When the episode ended, Sanji exhaled. "That kid… he's got it rough."

Zoro, arms still crossed, murmured, "He reminds me of someone."

Luffy was silent, his usually carefree expression replaced with something else. Something deeper. "Naruto… I like him. He doesn't let anyone stop him."

Nami frowned, arms hugging herself. "He laughs, but he's alone. That's… painful."

Usopp gulped. "Wait, wait, wait. That was just the first episode?! There's more?!"

Ren, keeping his expression neutral, shrugged. "Guess so."

Luffy grinned. "Then I wanna see what happens next!"

Ren smirked. Oh, you have no idea.

Marine Headquarters – Justice vs. The Outcast

The halls of Marineford were never silent, but today, an eerie stillness settled over the base as officers and recruits alike stopped what they were doing to watch.

Fleet Admiral Sengoku frowned as he read the message. "Moving illustrations? A new form of intelligence?" He waved his hand. "Proceed. Let's see what this is."

Then, the first scene played.

A blonde child, a fox spirit sealed within him, being shunned by his own village. Naruto Uzumaki.

By the time the first episode ended, the Marines were tense.

"He reminds me of the way we treat pirates," muttered a young officer. "Judged before given a chance."

Garp, munching on rice crackers, grinned. "Heh, this brat's got some fire in him!"

Aokiji, leaning back lazily, murmured, "…So the world turned against him for something beyond his control. Hmph. Sounds familiar."

Sengoku scowled. "A dangerous ideology. Encouraging sympathy for outcasts? This could be problematic."

Holy Land Mary Geoise – Celestial Dragons in Disarray

"WHAT IS THIS?!" Saint Charlos screeched, flailing as his servants trembled. "WHY DID IT TAKE 10,000 BERRIES FROM ME?!"

A well-dressed noble sneered. "Such filth. A mere commoner running around like he deserves respect? Disgusting."

Yet, even as they scoffed, their eyes remained glued to the screen.

Deep within the palace, the Five Elders watched in grim silence.

"This... technology. The ability to spread knowledge so quickly—it's dangerous," one muttered.

Another stroked his beard. "If such a thing could be controlled..."

At the highest peak of Mary Geoise, Imu watched.

Expression unreadable. Silent. But the system had already taken 100,000 Berries from their wealth.

For the first time in centuries, a force beyond them had dictated the rules.

The Yonko – Legends of the Sea Watching the Future Whitebeard's Ship – The Moby Dick

Marco whistled. "Yoi... so this kid was hated just for being born?"

Ace clenched his fists. "Tch… I know what that's like."

Whitebeard took a deep swig from his sake, watching as Naruto faced Mizuki in battle. "Gurarara! He has the will to fight, even when the world stands against him! I like this brat!"

Big Mom's Territory – Whole Cake Island

Charlotte Perospero frowned. "A child who fights against fate? How distasteful."

But Big Mom grinned, licking her lips. "He wants respect... but he earns it through strength. I like that."

Kaido's Lair – Onigashima

Kaido took a swig of sake, eyes half-lidded. "Hmph. He should stop whining and get stronger. Weaklings deserve what they get."

King, standing nearby, murmured, "But he fights. Even against impossible odds."

Kaido smirked. "That part, I respect."

The Revolutionary Army – Echoes of Rebellion

Deep in an undisclosed location, Monkey D. Dragon watched, arms crossed.

Naruto, ostracised, ridiculed, ignored—yet still standing strong.

"This..." Dragon muttered. "This is exactly why we fight."

Sabo leaned forward. "He's just a kid… but he still pushes forward. Just like we did."

Ivankov wiped a tear. "SUCH RAW EMOTION! IT'S BEAUTIFUL!"

The Underworld – A New Kind of Power

Doflamingo laughed. "Fufufu! Information warfare! This is power unlike anything we've ever seen!"

Crocodile grunted. "Tch. If someone controls this... they control the world."

Multiverse Chat Chaos

[Gintoki]: "OI! OI! WHAT THE HELL?! I THOUGHT I WAS DONE WITH ANIME!"

[Jiraiya]: "Damn, that kid has guts. Reminds me of my old students."

[Whitebeard]: "This Naruto brat... his will is strong."

[Ainz Ooal Gown]: "Wait. This system just took money from literal GOD-KINGS? This is the most terrifying thing I've ever seen."

[Gol D. Roger]: "HOHOHO! THE NEXT ERA IS GOING TO BE WILD!"

[Gintoki]: "WAIT! WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THE FACT THAT THIS KID PAINTED THE HOKAGE MONUMENT?! THAT'S THE REAL CRIME HERE!"

[Kakashi]: "Naruto… You really were like this back then."

[Itachi]: "A child, already burdened by the world."

[Ainz Ooal Gown]: "If this system can automatically charge people without permission, it is beyond broken."

[Gintoki]: "I DEMAND A REFUND!"

The World Will Never Be the Same

The episodes ended, and the screens faded from existence.

Yet, the impact remained.

People whispered about the story. About the outcast who refused to break. About the new medium that had appeared without warning.

This was more than just entertainment.

This was history being rewritten.
