Chapter 283 - [283] I'll Go First Tonight

Images of the Invertia, mana, the Integrated Enterprise Foundation, the artificial island Asterisk, the six academies, the Festa, Orga Lux weapons, and more all emerged from the projector.

Roy had acquired quite a few things from the world of Asterisk City—some obtained by hypnotizing high-ranking members of the Foundation, others as rewards for winning the Festa, and still more after establishing his own company. This projector was one of his collectibles, containing numerous recordings, including the entire process of his own Festa victory, which he had added himself.

Watching the scene of his triumph in the Festa, Roy couldn't help but nod in satisfaction.

This was one of the glorious chapters of his future history. After all, if he were to become the King of Humanity someday, he couldn't afford to lack dazzling achievements.

As the holographic images revealed another world, the women in the living room fell into an indescribable silence.

An entirely unfamiliar world had just unveiled a fraction of itself before them with astonishing realism. No one could remain indifferent—everyone was utterly awestruck. Even the most introverted Miku couldn't help but gaze with sparkling eyes, her expression full of longing.

"These are gifts I prepared for you."

Roy reopened his imaginary pocket and pulled out a mountain of items, covering the entire table.

"Cosmetics, jewelry—feel free to pick whatever you like. There's plenty to go around. And these are technological products. These headphones are perfect for music—Miku, I think you'd like them, right?"

"Eh? T-there's something for me too?"

Suddenly called out, Miku seemed startled, timidly raising her head.

"Of course. When I saw these headphones, I immediately thought of you. They'd suit you perfectly."

Roy nodded matter-of-factly and handed her the sleek, metallic-blue headphones, which exuded a futuristic aesthetic.

"T-thank you very much, Lord Roy..."

Miku reverently accepted them with both hands, her expression a mix of timidity and barely contained delight.

The color was even similar to the pair she usually used. Though they looked high-tech, they were surprisingly lightweight. Coming from a world with such advanced technology, the sound quality must be incredible. She had assumed that someone as worthless as her, merely clinging to survival in this household, wouldn't receive any gifts. Yet here she was, holding something so perfect, making her heart flutter with joy.

It wasn't just that the gift suited her tastes—it was the fact that Roy had treated her, someone so insignificant, with the same consideration as everyone else.

"How nice. Miku gets her own special gift."

Utaha watched as Miku hugged the headphones, her lips curling into an irrepressible smile. Then, glancing at the dazzling array of jewelry and cosmetics on the table, she adopted a theatrically sorrowful expression.

"Unlike us, who just have to pick from whatever's left."

She pretended to wipe away tears while subtly side-eyeing Roy.

"I think having options is great, though!"

Ichika, on the other hand, looked positively thrilled, her eyes practically glued to the table overflowing with gifts. Her face was a picture of blissful indecision.

"Ah, which one should I choose?"

Utaha gave her a speechless look.

Did you completely miss the meaning behind my words?

Miku has a special gift, doesn't she?

But we don't!

Ichika was completely immersed in her sea of happiness, paying no attention to her.

"Utaha, I actually prepared a special gift for you too."

But Roy didn't miss Utaha's jealous reaction. He looked at her with a meaningful gaze, his eyes darkening with an intensity that seemed to want to devour her whole.

"I'll give it to you properly later."

He emphasized the word "properly."

Utaha froze for a moment, then her cheeks uncontrollably flushed slightly as she quickly turned her head away.

"You two seem to have something planned."

Touko's gaze flickered between the two before she let out a soft chuckle.

"But sorry, let me go first tonight!"

Ichika, Hayasaka, and Utaha all reacted simultaneously.

"If that's what Touko-sama says, then we'll wait our turn."

Hayasaka nodded obediently, her expression naturally deferential.

Utaha and Ichika exchanged glances. Of course, they didn't dare object and nodded in agreement.

Go first?

Go first for what?

Miku looked up in confusion.

But this probably had nothing to do with her.

Thinking this, she lowered her head again like an ostrich.

Nighttime.

Touko, fresh from her bath with damp steam still clinging to her, changed into a yukata and entered Roy's room.

The room was impeccably clean, with all traces of the curse that had once plagued Roy completely gone. It was as if someone had been cleaning it daily—not a speck of dust in sight.

Roy sat on the edge of the bed, holding a pure-white activation unit in his hand.

"Is that an Orga Lux?"

Touko approached Roy's side, her freshly bathed skin glowing faintly beneath the folds of her yukata. She peered curiously at the activation unit in his hand.

"This is an Orga Lux—far more powerful than the standard ones."

Roy gave a brief explanation before channeling his magical energy into the Sword of the Black Furnace.

With a hum, a red flash erupted from the mana crystal, followed by a pure-white blade extending from the activation unit, transforming into a demonic sword capable of severing and incinerating anything.

Good, it works.

The Sword of the Black Furnace continuously transmitted emotions of shock and curiosity to Roy. Having suddenly arrived in a completely different world, it was utterly stunned by the current situation.

"Touko, has anything happened at home recently?"

Roy turned his gaze to Touko.

He wrapped an arm around her waist and gently laid her on the bed, then leaned over her, supporting himself on his arms as he looked down at her.

"Peaceful to the point where I wondered if you were just being overly cautious by having me stay."

Touko chuckled softly, a faint blush spreading across her cheeks under the suggestive atmosphere.

Before leaving, Roy had specifically asked Touko to stay at the mansion for a few extra days to protect the group of women who had almost no means of self-defense. For this purpose, he had even given her the Primordial Runes he obtained from Cú Chulainn.

"Nothing happening is the best outcome."

Roy nodded as he retrieved an outfit from his imaginary pocket.

At the same time, he whispered in her ear in a deeply alluring tone.

"Touko, how about putting this on?"

Aozaki Touko glanced at the item, and her expression immediately turned peculiar.

Is that actually a pair of red stockings?

And the style is far too indecent!

"I think these suit you perfectly!"

"So this is my exclusive gift?"

Touko rolled her eyes and pushed against his chest.

"If you don't move, how am I supposed to put them on?"

Roy grinned and stood up to make space.

Once Touko had slipped on the red stockings, he pounced on her like a wolf that had waited long enough.

Soon, cheerful moaning filled the room.

"You've had enough… I really can't take anymore. Why don't you go find someone else? If this keeps up, this body of mine will break sooner or later…"

Late into the night, the exhausted protests of a woman could be heard from inside the room.

This brat actually used Tiamat's power for something like this!

Wasn't he afraid that if Tiamat found out, the Primordial Mother Goddess would smite him in her fury?

"Don't worry, you can handle it. I'll modify your body for you…"

Roy grabbed Touko's resisting hands, channeling magical energy into her body to quickly restore her stamina, enhance her physical endurance, and even strengthen her internal organs.

The passionate singing didn't fade until the early hours of the morning.

Inside the disheveled room, Touko lay in Roy's arms, too exhausted to lift a finger.

"Have you changed a lot recently?"

She tilted her snow-white neck to gaze at Roy, her eyes—still lingering with traces of pleasure—filled with curiosity.
