Veran – The Name of the Traitor
While exploring the ruins of his home, Veran finds an ancient diary, written in the poisoned ink typical of the Nyx Clan. It is his mother's.
Reading the last pages, he discovers the truth:
The traitor of the clan was their own member… his grandfather.
The leader of the Nyx Clan made a pact with an unknown entity, sacrificing his family in exchange for immortality. But something went wrong, and the massacre was total.
Trembling, Veran realizes that if his grandfather is indeed still alive… then he might still be out there. And if he is… maybe he is also connected to the Puppet Master of War.
With new answers (and even more questions), Veran sets out to find his traitorous grandfather.
