Having passed the test of the Keeper of the Balance, Raigor and Veran left the temple with the shining key in hand. But they didn't even have time to recover as the sky above them darkened.
A cold wind blew through the valley, and a tremendous roar split the air. The ground shook beneath their feet.
"It's not possible…" Veran whispered, as he looked up.
From the black clouds that now enveloped the sky, a gigantic shape stood out against the dying light of the sun. Two immense wings, horns curved like scythes, and eyes as red as blood.
The Dark Dragon had awakened.
The Warning of the Time Dragon
As the shadows lengthened around them, a golden portal suddenly opened.
From it emerged a majestic being: The Time Dragon.
Its scales shone with golden light, and its gaze was filled with ancient wisdom.
"The time has come," it said in a deep voice. "The Greater Entity has released the Dark Dragon to stop you."
Raigor clenched his fists. "Then we will face it."
The Time Dragon shook his head. "No. If you face the Dark Dragon now, you will be destroyed. You do not yet have the power to defeat it."
Veran stepped forward. "Then what must we do?"
The Time Dragon regarded them gravely. "You must find the Last Forge and awaken the true power of your weapons. Only then will you have a chance."
A flash of lightning lit up the sky. The Dark Dragon hovered above them, opening its mouth to hurl a black flame.
"LET'S GO!" Raigor shouted.
The Time Dragon flapped its wings and the golden portal opened again. In an instant, Raigor and Veran were engulfed in light.
The final test awaited them.
