Chapter 182 - Chapter 182: The Subdued Malekith

The invading Dark Elf battleship was swiftly neutralized, and both Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Izuna activated their Susano'o in unison, their spectral warriors standing tall in the void of space.

"The problem is solved," Madara declared, his voice imperious as always. "Now send us back to Earth."

Though he had wandered the cosmos for years, Madara's commanding tone remained unchanged—a tone that frequently offended locals wherever he went. But when power speaks, the universe listens. Madara and Izuna's reputation was forged not through diplomacy but through combat. When words failed, fists followed.

Fortunately, after consuming chakra fruit, the two had gained the ability to survive in the vacuum of space. Their bodies no longer required protection from the elements, allowing their ship to drift freely when it was damaged.

"The Bifröst still needs a full day to repair," Heimdall informed them. "If you don't mind, I can escort you to meet our Allfather, Odin."

Heimdall's tone was polite but sincere. What had once been courtesy extended due to Su Xiuyu's influence had now become genuine respect. Strength demanded acknowledgment, no matter the realm.

Under Heimdall's guidance, Madara and Izuna followed him toward the golden palace of Asgard.

---

Meanwhile, in the royal chambers, chaos brewed.

Malekith, the ancient leader of the Dark Elves, had broken into Queen Frigga's bedroom. It wasn't their first encounter—centuries ago, during the great war, he had seen her as a child. But today, it was the lingering fragments of the Aether that led him here. He could still sense its presence faintly—like a compass pointing toward power.

"Frigga," he sneered, his voice low and venomous. "Hand over the Aether, or—"

Before he could finish his threat, Frigga had already grabbed a dagger and lunged.

The Queen of Asgard moved with the grace of a sorceress and the precision of a warrior. Her blade danced with practiced elegance. Malekith was caught off guard and quickly overpowered. His plan had been simple—coerce Frigga into revealing Jane Foster's location. But the woman he faced now was no helpless royal.

Unfortunately for Frigga, reinforcements had arrived—for the enemy.

A cursed warrior burst into the room, towering and monstrous, pulsing with brute strength. In a flash, Frigga was disarmed and held down. Malekith recovered, his fury boiling beneath his dark armor.

"Tell me where the Aether is," he snarled. "Perhaps I'll spare your life."

Frigga spat defiantly. "You should know by now—Asgardians die in battle. We do not surrender."

Malekith's eyes darkened. "So be it. Kill her."

Just as the cursed warrior raised his arm to strike, a black staff shot through the air, impaling the beast's limb. A strange, dark energy surged through the cursed warrior's body, momentarily paralyzing him.

"This your intruder?" Madara asked, strolling in with a smirk. He didn't even glance at Heimdall's tense expression. "Not much of a challenge."

Indeed, the cursed warrior was physically formidable. The resistance Madara felt as he drove the staff through its flesh was immense—but ultimately, irrelevant.

"Your Majesty, I was late," Heimdall said breathlessly, rushing to Frigga's side. He helped her to her feet, relief flooding his expression.

"Mother!" a voice boomed from the hall.

Thor charged into the room like a thunderstorm incarnate. Mjolnir flew from his hand, striking Malekith squarely in the chest before bouncing toward the cursed warrior. The blow staggered the creature, but didn't stop it.

"Are you alright?" Thor asked Frigga urgently.

"We're fine," Heimdall replied quickly. "They were the ones who saved us. They're from Su Xiuyu's clan."

Thor's eyes flicked toward Madara and Izuna, but there was no time for questions. Malekith tried to flee, only to be slammed to the ground by a second strike from Mjolnir—only to be launched into the wall by the cursed warrior's retaliation. Chaos erupted again.

Frigga's bedroom became a battlefield. Thor launched attack after attack, but the cursed warrior absorbed every blow, barely flinching. Over and over, Mjolnir soared, thunder raged, and Thor was swatted aside like an insect.

From the sidelines, Madara and Izuna stood idly, watching the chaos with casual disinterest.

"Should we help him?" Izuna asked, folding his arms.

Madara shook his head. "He needs the workout."

Meanwhile, Heimdall clashed blades with Malekith. Compared to the cursed warrior, Malekith was weaker—his magic waning, his power fractured by time. It didn't take long for Heimdall to subdue him with a swift blow to the head.

But Thor's battle raged on, one-sided and brutal. The cursed warrior was simply stronger, tougher. Thor's might, impressive as it was, wasn't enough.

"Damn it! I am Thor!" he roared, calling lightning from the heavens.

Mjolnir crackled with divine fury as it slammed into the cursed warrior's chest. A brilliant flash lit the room as silver lightning exploded, knocking the creature back several meters. But once again, he stood, unshaken.

It finally dawned on Thor—this enemy was like him. Strong, enduring, relentless.

And then, everything changed.

"Shuashuashua—" multiple black rods flew through the air, targeting the cursed warrior's weak points—his joints, his wounds, his eyes. The warrior was nailed to the ground, twitching as dark energy flowed into him.

The Aether fragments inside him were forcefully expelled, streaming out in a crimson haze. Without them, the cursed warrior began to weaken rapidly. His grotesque form shrank, reverting to that of an ordinary Dark Elf. His strength gone, he collapsed, defeated.

Madara calmly lowered his hand, the energy dissipating from his palm.

Thor, who had been preparing to charge again, froze awkwardly in place. He cleared his throat and offered a stiff nod. "Well… thanks."

Just then, the doors burst open.

"Frigga!" Odin's voice thundered through the ruins of the chamber. The Allfather stepped in, his eyes scanning the wreckage. Relief washed over him as he saw Frigga unharmed.

"It's alright," she said softly, brushing dust from her robes. "I'm fine."

Odin exhaled slowly. Just fifteen minutes ago, he had felt a deep, inexplicable dread—a sensation he hadn't known in centuries. It was a feeling that something terrible was about to happen to someone close to him. He had rushed here without hesitation, fearing the worst.

But his wife and son were safe. And Malekith, now chained and unconscious, was subdued.

------------------

With the arrival of Odin, Malekith and the dark elves were swiftly captured. However, out of caution, they weren't sent to Asgard's prison this time. Instead, Odin personally sealed them within the palace using a fairy-lock—a powerful magical ward few could break.

"So, you're Su Xiuyu's brothers?" Odin said, his deep voice echoing through the great hall. "Heimdall has already informed me of everything. Thank you for your assistance. I heard you wish to find Su Xiuyu?"

Madara nodded with his usual stoicism. "Yes."

Odin smiled faintly. "Then allow me to extend a formal invitation to Su Xiuyu. Asgard owes you a debt of gratitude for helping suppress this rebellion. As the ruler of Asgard, it is only right that I host a banquet in your honor. Please, accept my hospitality."

Madara could already sense the immense power radiating from Odin—undoubtedly the strongest being in Asgard. The warrior within him stirred, itching for a challenge, but Madara's self-control had grown over the years. He wouldn't recklessly challenge the All-Father of Asgard—not today.

Upon receiving Odin's orders, Heimdall activated the Bifröst, targeting New York City. A divine inscription was etched into the plaza—a language foreign to Earth's people, but not to Su Xiuyu, who had long since mastered the divine script.

Though Heimdall's eyes could pierce all Nine Realms, Su Xiuyu remained elusive. This inscription was Heimdall's only way to communicate across space. Not long after, Su Xiuyu responded—he had seen the signal.

A beam of light surged down from the heavens, enveloping Su Xiuyu and transporting him across realms.

"Sir, we've detected a massive energy surge over New York City. Should we respond?" JARVIS asked calmly.

"No need, Jarvis. That's just Su Xiuyu calling down the Bifröst. He gave me a heads-up this time," Tony Stark replied, a hint of jealousy in his tone. "Damn it, I haven't even been to Asgard yet…"

But Tony had no time to indulge in his curiosity. The division of the United States was keeping him busy. Still, when things settled, he'd make sure to visit the golden realm himself.

When the light faded, Su Xiuyu stepped out of the beam, followed by Sasuke, Naruto, and Karin.

"Alright, listen up," Su Xiuyu warned. "This is Asgard, not Earth. Don't mess around."

"Got it!" the three chorused, eyes wide in awe.

They took in the view from the Rainbow Bridge—the towering spires, floating islands, and shimmering skies. Even Su Xiuyu, visiting for the second time, couldn't help but admit Asgard's beauty was breathtaking—like a fairytale brought to life.

"Heimdall, long time no see," Su Xiuyu greeted warmly. "These three are my students. What does Odin want with me?"

"Your brothers arrived in Asgard by chance," Heimdall replied. "They helped suppress the dark elf rebellion. Odin has invited you to attend the celebration banquet."

"My brothers? You mean Madara and Izuna?"

"Yes, Madara-sama and Izunq-sama," Heimdall confirmed, offering a rare touch of reverence. Their swift action had saved Queen Frigga's life—a debt even the mighty Asgard could not ignore.

"These two… finally found their way back after wandering the cosmos," Su Xiuyu muttered with a smile.

The reunion was warm. Su Xiuyu and his brothers hadn't seen each other in what felt like ages. Emotions ran high, even for men who rarely showed them.

"These are the three apprentices I brought with me. One more's still on Earth. Mito and Chisato couldn't come—they're pregnant," Su Xiuyu added proudly.

"Looks like you finally settled down. Don't disappoint Chisato, alright?" Madara said with a mock-threatening smile, raising a fist. "Or I'll have to teach you a lesson myself."

Su Xiuyu chuckled, unbothered. Madara knew he wasn't the kind of man to abandon responsibility. Sure, Su Xiuyu wasn't exactly the model of monogamy, but everything he did was for the Uchiha's future. Chisato was gentle and understanding, never one to complain.

Still, when Madara laid eyes on Sasuke for the first time, he couldn't help but do a double-take.

"Uh, Izuna… are you sure he's not your kid?" he asked, eyebrows raised.

The resemblance between Sasuke and Izuna was uncanny—almost eerie.

"Don't be ridiculous," Su Xiuyu cut in. "Sasuke's twelve. Izuna left Konoha decades ago. Stop joking."

Madara quickly shifted gears. "Fine, fine. But seriously, Izuna—you're not getting any younger. Still single after all these years? You trying to be the last Uchiha standing?"

"Brother, fix your own love life before criticizing mine," Izuna shot back.

Their bickering drew laughter from Sasuke, Naruto, and Karin. The legendary Madara Uchiha—a source of fear across countless worlds—was surprisingly human in these moments. It was a side of him no one expected to see.

"It's good to meet again," Odin said, arriving in full ceremonial garb, golden armor gleaming, Gungnir in hand. "The banquet will begin soon. I've also invited the Sorcerer Supreme. She should be arriving shortly."

Su Xiuyu donned a formal robe with a flick of his wrist, while Madara and Izuna had already changed into Asgardian attire.

The banquet hall was vibrant and filled with music. Asgardians raised their goblets in celebration. Odin and Frigga sat at the center, flanked by Su Xiuyu, the Ancient One, Madara, and Izuna. Even Loki was present—though bound in enchanted shackles, he was allowed to join the feast.

While others laughed and drank, Loki simply enjoyed the food in silence, bound by magic but free enough to taste roasted boar.

"Ancient One," Su Xiuyu whispered to the Ancient One, "Has the course of history changed?"

"It has," the Ancient One nodded. "Odin has noticed the shift as well."

She glanced toward Odin, who was quietly listening in.

"If Uchiha Madara and Izuna hadn't interfered, Frigga would have died today—slain by the cursed warrior during the dark elf invasion. That outcome was fixed in almost every timeline."

"Then why the change now?" Odin asked. "If fate is so immutable, what broke it?"

"You already know the answer," the Ancient One replied calmly. "Because fate collided with another river. A stronger one. And its course was altered."

She looked toward Su Xiuyu.

"The people around Su Xiuyu… they are blades that cut through the bindings of destiny. They don't exist in any established timeline. They are wild variables—beyond prediction. Beyond control."

Odin narrowed his eyes.

"…Can Ragnarok be changed?"

"That's not a question for me," the Ancient One said. "I only observe the river of time. But Su Xiuyu… he is the one who can reshape it."
