Chapter 189 - Chapter 189: Reunion

The Dwarf King, Eitri, hadn't anticipated that Su Xiuyu's axe would cause such a powerful

reaction. It was the first time he had forged a weapon of that magnitude—and certainly the first time it made enough noise to shake realms.

Next, Uchiha Madara stepped forward to retrieve his newly forged fan. Izuna followed, lifting his custom-forged blade.

Madara's fan had been crafted in the likeness of his original Gunbai—the Flame Fan—but now, infused with divine materials, it radiated a new kind of power. He could feel its pulse in his palm, as if the weapon were alive, responding to him with silent intent. The old fan had been nothing more than a well-crafted tool. This one? It had presence.

Izuna, by contrast, had chosen a weapon that matched his personality—a sleek, traditional ninja sword. In the shinobi world, there was no distinction between swords and blades, and Izuna had always been a master of swordsmanship. Though the weapon's form was familiar, the difference in power was undeniable. The sword felt strange in his hands—not because it was unwieldy, but because it was worthy.

"It seems you're all satisfied with your weapons," Eitri said, finally sitting down beside the forge, utterly spent. "That means my job is done."

He had every reason to be exhausted. From selecting the ores to smelting them in the heart of a neutron star and forging three divine artifacts, Eitri had done most of the work himself. It was the kind of effort he hadn't put in since the days of Odin's Gungnir or the Destroyer Armor.

Most weapons in Asgard were forged by other dwarves. Eitri only crafted masterpieces—and this was the first time he'd created three in one go.

"This is my token," Su Xiuyu said, handing the dwarf a kunai with runes etched along its surface. "It's inscribed with a binding seal. If Nidavellir is ever in danger and the enemy is within Odin's league, use this. Break it, and I'll come."

Eitri looked at it with reverence.

"Nidavellir may still belong to Asgard today," Xiuyu continued, "but who knows what the future holds? This is my promise to you—regardless of politics, I will come if you need me."

Eitri gave a tired but genuine nod. "I appreciate that. Though, I doubt the likes of multiversal tyrants will be interested in us."

"Still better to be ready," Xiuyu replied with a smirk. "By the way… how long do dwarves live?"

"Roughly the same as Asgardians," Eitri replied. "Anywhere from 1,000 to 5,000 years. I'm currently 4,039."

Xiuyu nodded. "Impressive. Most Midgardians only live around a hundred years. But I'm not exactly from Midgard. Our lifespan depends on strength, not biology. A few thousand years isn't out of the question."

Eitri's eyes widened slightly. "And how old are you?"

"Not even a hundred yet. None of us are."

The dwarf stared at him in stunned silence. Then he laughed dryly. "Are you trying to give me a heart attack? You fought Odin to a standstill and you haven't even hit your first century? If I let you live another thousand years, you might try to conquer the Kree Empire."

Xiuyu shrugged. "Age doesn't mean much. Thor's in his prime, but what level is he at? You know that better than most, Eitri."

Eitri frowned.

Of course he knew.

Thor's hammer had once belonged to Hela. In her hands, it was a divine weapon of absolute destruction. When it passed to Thor, it lost much of its former fury. Despite being the heir to the throne, Thor never fully lived up to the legacy of Asgard's true titans.

Looking at Su Xiuyu, Madara, and Izuna now… Eitri couldn't help but feel a twinge of concern. These three had already surpassed Asgard's golden age. What would they become in another few centuries?

"Take care of yourself," Xiuyu said as he hoisted Pangu's Battle Axe onto his back. "And don't lose that kunai."

He raised the axe—and with a flash of cosmic light, the Rainbow Bridge activated.

It wasn't Heimdall who summoned it this time. The battle axe itself now carried the ability, similar to Thor's Stormbreaker. With a swirling burst of prismatic energy, the trio vanished from Nidavellir, returning to Earth.

Only Eitri remained.

He sat beside the forge, clutching the kunai in his hand. The etched spellwork shimmered faintly in the fading glow of the forge's heart.

"I hope you never let us down," he murmured.

And with that, the Dwarf King leaned back, spine against the warm metal of the cooling forge, and drifted into a well-earned sleep.

Back on Earth, the Rainbow Bridge's light cracked the sky over an isolated island—one Su Xiuyu had raised from the sea himself. The island served as the gateway between the Shinobi World and Marvel Earth.

When they had first left, the Uchiha clan had been scattered across New York, living in the shadows. Now, they had a sanctuary of their own.

The moment they arrived, a familiar voice called out.

"Chisato, Mito—look who's back!"

"Brother!" Chisato, heavily pregnant, spotted Madara and Izuna immediately. Her eyes welled with tears as she hurried toward them.

"Careful now," Madara said, moving quickly to support her. "You've got to be gentle. I don't know anything about childbirth, but I'm pretty sure running is off-limits."

Izuna smiled warmly. "It's been a long time, Chisato."

The brothers had wandered the cosmos for years. Seeing their younger sister like this—radiant, alive, and expecting—filled them with warmth they hadn't known they missed.

"You're one lucky guy," Madara said, glancing at Su Xiuyu before turning toward another familiar face. "Mito. It's been a while."

Mito smirked. "Still trying to act polite, Madara? That's new."

The fierce kunoichi was as sharp-tongued as ever. She'd been the first to know Su Xiuyu, long before Chisato ever fell for him. And though things could've turned sour between the two women, time and shared purpose had transformed them into close allies.

Thankfully, neither of them had made things difficult. On the contrary—they'd embraced the chaos that came with Su Xiuyu.
