The increasingly violent lightning crackling around Enel caused Kizaru's expression to become even graver. He transformed into a stream of light and shot forward, continuously firing laser beams from his hands.
Terrifying lightning erupted skywards, forming a massive, sky-piercing thunder pillar. The surrounding ground shattered, and the laser beams, though they pierced the thunder pillar, immediately dissipated, unable to reach Enel at all.
From within the terrifying lightning, a Thunder Giant, forty to fifty meters tall, bent and rose. Instantly, a vast and violent aura directly dispersed the clouds in the sky. A torrential, destructive presence swept out in all directions. Within a thousand-meter radius, lightning crackled and danced.
"Five Hundred Million Volt—Raigo!"
Above, dark clouds rapidly gathered, quickly forming storm clouds. Lightning flashed and thunder boomed, the sound reverberating across the entire island.
The civilians on Sabaody Archipelago were panic-stricken, fleeing in utter terror. Some even immediately set sail, trying to get away from Sabaody.
Before Kizaru could even get close to the Thunder Giant, he was forced back by the lightning radiating from its body, his expression growing heavier.
A violent power, a terrifying aura of utter destruction, rolled off the Thunder Giant. The Thunder Giant laughed wantonly.
"Yellow Monkey, this is my strongest state!"
"Truly terrifying power," Kizaru squinted, his entire body surging with golden light. Enel's current imposing might was on a completely different level than before; even he had to treat it with utmost seriousness.
"Yellow Monkey, eat my fist!"
Like a falling meteor, azure lightning covered the entire sky. A Thunder Giant fist, the size of a house, tore through the air, causing the atmosphere itself to keen, as it crashed down towards Kizaru with violent, swift suppression.
Before the fist even arrived, the intense pressure it generated was already making it hard to breathe. The already shattered ground disintegrated further.
"Sabaody Archipelago cannot be destroyed. I'll have to take this head-on."
Clenching his fist, dazzling golden light radiating, Kizaru surprisingly didn't dodge, choosing to meet Enel's Raigo fist directly.
Kizaru's entire body emitted an incredibly dazzling golden light, like a miniature sun, its brilliance overwhelming.
Instantly, he threw a punch. A golden fist, compressed from light, tore through the air. Like a meteor striking the earth, the two colossal fists slammed into each other. A terrifying shockwave, transforming into a hurricane, swept outwards. Countless houses and buildings collapsed, and even the Yarukiman Mangrove trees were bent by the force, causing large-scale cracks to appear on the nearby islands.
The golden giant fist was blasted apart, triggering another intense shockwave storm. Swoosh…
Golden light plummeted downwards. The ground shattered, and in an instant, a deep crater was formed. Endless golden light burst through the dust cloud; Kizaru was half-buried in the earth.
"Yellow Monkey, you're not so tough after all, huh?"
Enel roared with laughter, strode forward, and threw another punch towards Kizaru.
Kizaru's eyes turned ice-cold. He rose as a beam of golden light and instantly collided with the oncoming Thunder Giant fist. This time, however, it was the Thunder Giant fist that exploded. A supremely brilliant golden beam pierced through the thunder fist and continued through the Thunder Giant's entire arm.
The Thunder Giant's right arm instantly exploded, dense lightning scattering in all directions like a torrential downpour.
The golden light beam shot into the sky and reformed into Kizaru. He lifted his right leg, which now pulsed with intense golden light, and brought it down fiercely onto the Thunder Giant's head.
A beam of golden light, like an iron rod, violently blasted the Thunder Giant's head apart.
Kizaru didn't stop his assault. He knew that no matter how fierce his attacks were, he couldn't kill a powerful Logia-type Devil Fruit user so easily. His current objective was to destroy Enel's Raigo state.
Just as Kizaru lifted his leg for another kick, a deafening thunderclap from the sky above shook the entire Sabaody Archipelago. A massive pillar of lightning crashed down, aimed directly at Kizaru.
Kizaru's expression changed, and he instantly dodged the lightning pillar.
Then, more lightning pillars rained down from the sky, all striking Enel. The immense lightning replenished him; his exploded right arm and head rapidly reformed. He reached out a massive hand, grabbed a falling lightning pillar, and formed it into a Spear of Thunder.
"Die!"
Enel instantly hurled the Thunder Spear. It pierced the air, its speed so fast it was impossible to react. In an instant, Kizaru dispersed into light particles. The Thunder Spear struck the earth, and endless lightning crashed down with tremendous force.
For a moment, the earth shook and mountains swayed. The ground shattered, and violent shockwaves, mixed with destructive lightning, swept outwards, obliterating everything.
Enel continuously grabbed lightning, forming spears and hurling them with abandon.
"Damn it! If he keeps destroying things like this, he'll wreck half of Sabaody Archipelago!" Kizaru once again transformed into a brilliant beam of light, shooting towards Enel.
Enel laughed wildly, throwing a Thunder Spear that collided with the golden light beam. At the moment of impact, the Thunder Spear instantly disintegrated, but the golden light beam continued towards Enel with astonishing speed.
"Thunder Dragon!" Enel, far from being alarmed, was actually pleased. His right arm shot towards the golden light. In the midst of the attack, his entire right arm transformed into an astonishing azure Thunder Dragon. It struck the golden light beam, which instantly detonated, an endless golden light exploding outwards, so bright it was impossible to keep one's eyes open.
"Hahaha, Yellow Monkey! Let's see if you die this time!" Enel roared with laughter.
And just at that moment, a cold voice instantly reached Enel's ears.
"Light Speed Kick—Aurora Burst!"
A golden light beam suddenly pierced through the Thunder Giant's body. The light rapidly reformed into Kizaru, appearing behind Enel. His right foot, rapidly condensing golden light, kicked the Thunder Giant. Terrifying power exploded instantly, directly blasting the forty to fifty-meter-tall Thunder Giant apart.
Endless lightning exploded outwards, impacting the surroundings.
A streak of azure lightning instantly shot into the ground, piercing through the earth. Countless fragments of rock were pulverized by the lightning.
In the shattered earth, Enel was half-kneeling, the thunder drums on his back smashed to pieces. His entire back was a mess of torn flesh and blood, a gruesome sight with fresh blood pouring from the shocking wounds.
Enel's face was extremely grim. If he hadn't made emergency defensive measures just now, he very likely would have been critically injured and lost his ability to fight.
"To think even that didn't kill you. You really are tough to kill," Kizaru said, wiping blood from the corner of his mouth, panting slightly, his face also grim and unsightly. That last attack had been delivered with all his strength, yet it still hadn't killed Enel, which annoyed him considerably.
"Next time, you won't be so lucky," Kizaru declared, his body once again emitting strong light. One after another, light mirrors instantly materialized in the air, his figure rapidly refracting between them.
"Want to kill me? It's not that easy!" Enel's face turned savage, lightning roaring around his body. Endless lightning encircled him, his Observation Haki covering a radius of several dozen meters, tracking Kizaru's movements.
A golden light instantly appeared behind Enel. That raised right leg, once again, blasted towards him.
Enel rolled forward, dodging Kizaru's light-speed kick; the ground where he had been exploded.
Kizaru instantly followed up with another kick, directly unleashing an astonishing golden light shockwave.
Enel threw his arms forward to block, Armament Haki covering them. The golden light shockwave blasted Enel several tens of meters away.
"Fifty Million Volt—Thunderbird!"
Enel swatted away the residual golden light from his hands and instantly erupted with power. Immense lightning transformed into a ferocious Thunderbird, which took flight, flapping its wings, and charged directly towards Kizaru's newly appeared position.
Kizaru brought his leg down with crushing force, directly stomping the Thunderbird until it exploded.
