Chapter 14 - Cruelty returns home before dawn.

After she left, the two friends also followed, leaving him alone to face whatever was coming next. He stood there all alone, dazed while looking at the baby corpses that were laid with care with a glass coffin. It all came rushing down to him, reminding him of all the things he did just to impress his white moonlight and friends who had now abandoned him. How he hired crooks to beat Tang Jia when she was eight months pregnant, just because his moonlight didn't want her carrying his child. How he auctioned her eggs to his friends because his moonlight wanted to see her suffer during pregnancy. How he poured sulfuric acid on her just because his moonlight claimed she scratched her hand out of jealousy, leaving her to be buried in the collapsing factory. All of it came back, relentless, hunting him. Shaking, he reached for his phone and called his assistant, arranging a burial place for the two babies' corpses. Once done, he doubled the security around the house, hoping it would be enough to keep Tang Jia from reaching him. Finally, he retreated to his room and locked himself in, tears streaming as fear consumed him completely.

The sun sank beneath the horizon as night clawed its way across the sky. The wind raged like the waves of an angry ocean, while the trees whispered ghostly secrets through their hollow whistling. On the streets, people were as rare as grains of rice in a famine — scattered, fragile, and dwindling beneath the weight of the dark. The windows swung open with a sudden gust, rattling against their frames. The curtains billowed like pale specters in the dim light, twisting and coiling as if reaching for something unseen. A cold wind slithered through the room, carrying whispers that made the hairs on his arms stand on end. Shadows danced along the walls, and for a heartbeat, she could have sworn someone—or something—was watching him from the corners.

Meng Hua sat couped up at the heads of her bed, trembling with at each swung.

I crawled the balcony with the silence of a shadow, slipped through the window, and with a single, precise touch sent her under—unconscious before fear could claim her voice. I bound her hands and legs with my robes, slung her over my shoulder, and crossed to the balcony. I jumped down, landed like a shadow, shoved her into the trunk, and drove away before anyone could wake.

I arrived at an abandoned factory on the outskirts of the city. I walked out of a car I rent under a false name wearing a Kabuki Samurai half face mask and walked to my trunk.

"Here is your little snack, you can have her how you want.

Don't stop until she gets pregnant and if she miscarries, make her pregnant again. She had to give birth to at least 3 babies in 5 years.

Don't worry about supporting the babies, I will find them a good home.

Your jobs is to make sure she has them, I don't care if you all take her all at once.

It's her job to be able to take 3 men at once," I said, my eyes cold as the southern ocean. I reached out my hand to open the trunk so that they can take her.

"And before sure to record the whole thing face off, I don't want to be cleaning after you," I said, my voice cold and stern as I got into the car and left.

"Damn, you are one heartless motherf**ker. Don't you feel a bit sad for her, doing this to her?" Xiao Fang said, coming out of thin air, nearly spooking the crap out of me.

"Ahhh! Xiao Fang, what the hell? You scared the shit out of me," I screamed, my eyes widen with fear, my heart beating fast as if a cheetah tailing its prey.

"I don't have emotions to waste feeling sad for someone who treated an innocent girl like a play toy they could experiment their curiosity on," I said, my eyes cold as all their sins flashed through my mind.

"What are you going to do to those jerks who also hurt her?" he asked, making a crooked grin stretched from the corner of my lips.

"Don't worry about those, I'm planning to give them the biggest surprise they have never seen before," I said, my eyes crinkled at the corners, glinting with mischief as my crooked grin spread across my face.
