I was in a critical condition now, almost helpless. I ran away from those beasts that had found a way to make me doubt my capability once again.
I got to a place where I wouldn't be spotted easily, a part whose entrance was partially blocked so it won't be easy for those beasts to get through.
I was panting, trying to calm myself down, my heart thuds in such an irregular manner. I guess this was the effect of being low on mana, my injuries couldn't heal anymore, now I cared about how much I could lose blood.

I had that in mind but what could that amount of mana do to those beasts, it's just like having life without energy.
