"Just a monkey adopted by a Titan. An inferior, short-lived race that is not worthy of being compared to me!"
The enraged Ego's eyes turned pure silver, and the energy tendrils behind him, like a celestial demon, quickly split and wrapped themselves around Lothar.
"Father said the times have changed."
"The era of you old gods has passed."
Lothar's expression remained unchanged, but the murderous intent in his eyes intensified. He stretched his arms forward, and two energy discs about fifty meters in diameter, commanded with the ease of his own arm, sliced all the silver tendrils to pieces ten meters in front of him.

An alert Ego flickered away, and a mountain created out of thin air instantly pressed down on Lothar's head!

If Ego hadn't pulled away quickly, more than just his boots would have been frozen.

Lothar saw his chance. He took advantage of the brief stiffness after Ego's teleportation and landed a kick straight to his chest. The fight had suddenly gone from an epic energy clash to a street brawl, and Ego was clearly dazed. Close-quarters combat was not his strength.
"It's no use. You can't get away." Having found an opening, Lothar was not about to stop. He teleported repeatedly, staying right in Ego's face, not allowing him to create any distance.
