As previously mentioned, there were many races besides humans and dragons. The Nagas were just one of the many who lost in the bloody war before this era. Like all the others, they were forced to bow down.
However, unlike some of the other races that submitted and became slaves to humans and dragons, the Nagas refused to bow. For their defiance, they were driven to the brink of extinction.
They did not go down easily. The Nagas were once the guardians of Yggdrasil, a colossal tree that gave life to one of the largest forests in the world.
Blessed with divine eyes, they could hypnotize or even petrify their enemies. In battle, they wielded an arsenal of powerful weapons and strange sorcery, each capable of unleashing terrifying destruction.
'Now that I think about it, both humans and dragons are the bad guys to every other race but their own.'
