She popped it into her mouth and began chewing.

Her face lit up with delight.
"It's delicious!"
With just three bites, she devoured the pill and swallowed it down.
Licking her rosy lips, she gazed at Wu Tian with expectation.
"Hmph! I want more!"
Wu Tian sighed, shaking his head.
With a casual flick of his fingers, he gathered several low tier herbs from the shelves.
A tiny flame erupted, wrapping around them.
A second later, over ten medicinal pills formed in the air.
Wu Tian caught them in a small jade bottle and handed them to Zi Yan.
"Here, eat these first. They should taste just as good."
Zi Yan eagerly dumped another pill into her mouth.
As she chewed, her little face radiated satisfaction.
"Mmm! This annoying guy actually makes tasty pills!"
Her big, purple eyes glowed as she suddenly hopped next to Wu Tian, happily chatting.
"Hey~ annoying guy, you're a student here, right? What's your name? What faction are you in?"
"Don't worry, I'll protect you!"

"Zi Yan, my name isn't 'annoying guy.' It's Wu Tian."

Zi Yan pouted, her tiny arms crossed over her chest.
"Hmph! You got it backward!"
"I'm the one protecting you!"
"You may not have a backer now, but in the future, I'll be the one covering for you!"
