Chapter 284 - Chapter 284: The Arrival of the Black Abyss Army, A Roar That Shakes the Sky

Chapter 284: The Arrival of the Black Abyss Army, A Roar That Shakes the Sky

As soon as Wu Tian sensed the approaching auras, Xun'er also noticed them. However, she showed no intention of stopping Wu Tian's affectionate advances just because of their arrival. To her, those people were nothing more than mere subordinates. Why should she avoid being close to Wu Tian because of them? If anything, they should be the ones retreating. And if they dared to comment on it, she'd have her father punish them later.

Completely ignoring the approaching group, Wu Tian and Xun'er remained tightly embraced in the grass, locked in an intimate kiss. Even the lush greenery seemed to blush at their passion.

However, some people were utterly shameless and continued to rush forward at full speed.

A series of sharp wind breaking sounds echoed across the sky, and soon, more than a dozen tiny black dots appeared on the northern horizon.

These dark silhouettes were moving with precise coordination. As the piercing sound of the wind intensified, the black dots quickly enlarged. In just a few moments, they came into full view.

And then, these new arrivals witnessed something that completely shattered their minds

Their miss the esteemed Xun'er was kissing another man.

And she was so deeply immersed in it that she hadn't even noticed their arrival…

They had been completely ignored.

These warriors had traveled such a long distance to retrieve their lady, and yet…

She and this man had treated them like they didn't even exist!

The sheer disrespect caused their mental states to collapse on the spot.

These new arrivals were not human. They were ferocious magical beasts specifically, more than a dozen pitch black, four winged unicorns.

Each of these creatures had a silver horn over a foot long, covered in mysterious engravings that faintly emitted crackling sounds of wind and thunder.

With each flap of their enormous wings, fierce gales howled through the sky, pressing the surrounding forest downward.

The aura these magical beasts exuded was incredibly oppressive. They were clearly not just transportation beasts they were combat ready aerial mounts.

Flying magical beasts were already extremely rare.

Flying magical beasts capable of combat were even rarer.

And these beasts… were a breed apart.

Anyone could see at a glance that they weren't created by simple Dou Qi enhancement techniques. These were real, fearsome war mounts.

Even more terrifying was their rank each of them had the strength of a fifth rank magical beast.

That was the equivalent of a Dou Wang powerhouse!

And there were over ten of them.

If a squad like this charged into the Jia Ma Empire, the casualties would be catastrophic!

Atop these terrifying creatures stood several figures, each clad in deep purple black robes, their expressions varied.

Despite the sharp aura of cold steel they carried, their current expressions were anything but composed.

Each of them was completely dumbfounded by what they were seeing.

Ten massive Black Winged Unicorns hovered above the mountain gorge.

All eyes locked onto the pair in the grass.

Their expressions? Pure disbelief.

Their miss the noble Gu Xun'er was behaving like… like…

A completely different person!

They had always seen her as the epitome of elegance, grace, and nobility.

But now?

She was being all lovey dovey with some man… in the middle of nowhere?!

The warriors frowned deeply.

The leader among them, a young man who appeared to be around twenty four or twenty five, had an exceptionally handsome face comparable to Lin Xiuya in terms of appearance.

However, compared to Wu Tian, he was still a few leagues behind.

Dressed in a refined black and purple robe, he radiated an air of stability and authority.

Clearly, he was their commander.

But right now?

This "commander" was on the verge of exploding.

The usually calm and composed man now had a face twisted with rage.

Why?

Because his goddess the Xun'er he had revered for so long was being defiled by another man!

They were so blatantly intimate…

Right in front of his eyes!

How could he possibly accept this?!

Just as he was about to lose his temper, an elderly figure appeared beside him.

This was Ling Ying, Xun'er's longtime protector.

Right now, Ling Ying's face looked utterly exhausted.

Why?

Because his vacation was officially over.

Good times always pass too quickly just like a holiday that ends before you know it…

Sigh~ Why did it have to end so soon?

But oh well there would be more vacations in the future.

This would just be a seven day shift before his next break.

He could endure it.

Feeling rather content, Ling Ying stepped forward to block the furious young leader.

"Hold it," Ling Ying warned. "Miss Xun'er does not like being disturbed. If you do something reckless, you'll be dead before you know it."

As a trusted confidant of the Gu Clan's young miss, Ling Ying's position was secure despite his relatively weaker strength.

The young commander, recognizing his status, gritted his teeth but still responded with a respectful tone:

"Elder Ling Ying, I am Ling Quan, newly appointed Vice Commander of the Black Abyss Army. I have come under orders from the clan elders to bring Miss Xun'er back."

Standing atop his Black Winged Unicorn, Ling Quan cupped his fists toward Ling Ying.

Ling Ying narrowed his eyes at the young warrior.

This kid's attitude was rubbing him the wrong way.

With an impatient scoff, he replied:

"I know. But Miss Xun'er already said she'd return on her own. So why did you all bother coming here?"

Ling Quan clasped his hands behind his back and replied indifferently:

"The elders gave their orders. We are merely following them. Miss Xun'er, please return with us immediately."

Ling Ying's face darkened.

This idiot is seriously pushing his luck.

"Oh well," Ling Ying muttered under his breath.

Not my problem anymore. Time to get out of the way!

In a flash, he vanished hiding behind a tree in the distance like a shadow.

Meanwhile, Wu Tian and Xun'er had already heard every word of this conversation.

Wu Tian gently stroked Xun'er's silky hair, then slowly stood up with her still in his embrace.

The sight of them standing so intimately close sent waves of discomfort through the warriors above.

They looked like a newlywed couple!

As Wu Tian turned his gaze upward, his expression darkened.

These people…

Were looking down on him.

A mere Guardian Spirit like him being looked down upon?

Unacceptable.

His lips curled into a smirk as he turned to Xun'er.

"They're noisy. Mind if I bring them down?"

Xun'er's golden eyes flashed with cold displeasure.

She responded in a gentle yet merciless tone:

"Wu Tian gege, I don't mind at all."

The warriors above were stunned.

We are her people!

And she's letting this outsider attack us?!

Still, they didn't believe Wu Tian had the strength to bring them down.

After all, how could someone in this tiny corner of the world possibly stand against them?

Ling Quan let out a mocking laugh:

"Hahaha! Ridiculous! Boy, I admit your talent is impressive, but you're just a measly Dou Huang! You think you can bring us down? What a joke!"

Wu Tian merely smiled kindly.

Then

He flicked his sleeve, and a glowing ring on his finger flashed.

A purple blue light materialized before him.

Ling Quan's eyes widened in shock.

What… is that?!

And then

"ROAR!!!"

A thunderous beastly roar erupted from the light.

The entire forest trembled.

In an instant

A hundred meter tall shadow emerged.

The air shook violently.

The warriors' faces turned pale with horror.
