I was completely engrossed in the meteor shower, marveling at the way the stars seemed to slide down from the heavens, as if they were reaching out to touch us. The light from the meteors flickered across Pen's face, highlighting the soft curve of her cheeks and the gentle sparkle in her eyes. She looked beautiful, her features illuminated by the celestial display, and I couldn't help but feel a deep sense of contentment just being here with her.
